Lin Feng said, "The first thing is, I have a material suitable for making a purple staff. I have gathered the Amethyst and Mithril, but I cannot find a craftsman to forge it."

After Lu Dingchuan finished listening, the corners of his mouth curled up slightly, revealing a hint of a smile.

He turned his head to glance at Liu Zhenshan, and Liu Zhenshan also nodded.

"Lord Lin, you've found the right person for this."

"My Zhenyue City has a Master Blacksmith who can forge purple weapons."

Lin Feng's eyes lit up, and he nodded solemnly. "Thank you, City Lord Lu!"

Lu Dingchuan waved his hand. "Don't be in a hurry to thank me; tell me about the second thing."

Lin Feng continued, "The second thing is, my Fenghuo County has always been short on Copper Ingots and Tin Ingots. I hope to purchase some from Zhenyue City."

Lu Dingchuan turned to look at Deputy City Lord Zhao Tieshan, his tone casual but with a hint of seriousness. "Tieshan, how many Copper Ingots and Tin Ingots can we squeeze out?"

Deputy City Lord Zhao Tieshan put down his teacup, quickly calculated in his head, and replied, "Squeezing out five thousand units of Copper Ingots and five thousand units of Tin Ingots in a short time is no problem."

Lu Dingchuan turned back to look at Lin Feng, his tone straightforward. "Lord Lin, is that enough?"

Lin Feng was overjoyed, his voice rising a few notches. "It's enough! I wonder about the price..."

Lu Dingchuan waved his hand, his tone full of generosity. "What price? I'm giving them to Lord Lin as a greeting gift from Zhenyue City to Fenghuo County."

Lin Feng stood up and solemnly cupped his fists. "Thank you, City Lord Lu! Fenghuo County will remember this kindness."

Lu Dingchuan smiled and nodded. Without further pleasantries, he asked directly, "I wonder when Lord Lin intends to set out for Tieba Kingdom?"

Lin Feng thought for a moment and replied, "Tomorrow morning."

Lu Dingchuan nodded with satisfaction. "Good. Tomorrow morning, you and Deputy City Lord Liu will meet at the West Gate. For the remaining time, Lord Lin can take a stroll around Zhenyue City and see the city."

Lin Feng took out the purple-quality bone emitting a faint golden light from his robes, then took out the Amethyst and ten units of Mithril from his bundle.

He handed them to Lu Dingchuan with both hands. "City Lord Lu, I'll leave these materials in your care."

Lu Dingchuan took them and glanced at the bone. A flash of surprise crossed his eyes, but he didn't ask much.

He simply nodded. "Seven days will be enough. When you return from Tieba Kingdom, come and collect it."

Lin Feng nodded and sat back down.

Lu Dingchuan stood up, his gaze sweeping across everyone, his voice resonant. "The meeting is adjourned."

Everyone stood up one after another. Liu Zhenshan walked to Lin Feng's side and patted his shoulder.

"Lord Lin, I'll go prepare for tomorrow morning's departure first. You can wander around the city by yourself; find me anytime if you need anything."

Lin Feng nodded. "Thank you, Deputy City Lord Liu."

Liu Zhenshan waved his hand and strode out of the Council Hall.

Deputy City Lord Zhao Tieshan followed him out, the two of them speaking in low voices.

Jiang Wan nodded slightly to Lin Feng and left with Ling Fei and Han Cong.

Ling Fei glanced back at Lin Feng as he left and nodded.

Han Cong grinned and gave a thumbs-up before following Jiang Wan out the door.

The Council Hall grew quiet.

Lin Feng stood by the long table, watching everyone's departing figures, and remained silent for a moment.

Then he turned, pushed open the door of the Council Hall, and walked out.

Sunlight shone down from overhead, illuminating the bluestone road of the inner city.

The canopy of the iron-leaf tree swayed gently in the breeze, its dark green leaves glistening in the sunlight.

Lin Feng emerged from the inner city and walked east along the main street.

The main street was fifteen meters wide, paved with polished bluestone slabs. Shops lined both sides, their signs colorful.

A blacksmith shop had a giant iron hammer sign hanging at its entrance; the hammerhead swayed gently in the wind, making a clinking sound.

In the windows of the equipment stores, several pieces of armor and weapons glowing with blue light were displayed, attracting many passing Awakened to stop and watch.

People came and went on the street. There were Awakened wearing leather armor, in groups of three or five, carrying bows, crossbows, sabers, and swords, walking toward the city exit while chatting and laughing.

There were merchants pushing handcarts piled with ores, animal hides, and medicinal herbs. The wheels of the handcarts made a rumbling sound as they rolled over the stone slabs.

There were clerical staff wearing long robes, holding documents in their hands, walking hurriedly as if rushing somewhere to handle business.

Lin Feng walked among the crowd, neither deliberately hiding nor deliberately showing off.

But with his full set of purple equipment and the dark red Wildfire Spear on his back, it was impossible to keep a low profile even if he wanted to.

When pedestrians on the road saw him, they were first stunned, then quickly moved to the sides and lowered their heads, not daring to look directly at him.

Such a person was not someone they could casually strike up a conversation with. Lin Feng didn't care either, continuing his stroll on his own.

Passing by a blacksmith shop, he stopped to look at a blue-quality longsword hanging at the entrance. The blade was slender and the edge sharp, priced at one hundred White Crystals.

He shook his head and continued forward. He then passed a pharmacy where several bottles of low-level healing potions were displayed in the window, each priced at two Gray Crystals—quite a bit more expensive than the prices in Fenghuo County.

After wandering for about an hour, Lin Feng stopped in front of an imposing restaurant.

The restaurant had three floors with upturned eaves and corners. The glazed tiles shimmered with a golden light under the sun. A huge gold-lettered sign hung over the lintel—'Wangyue Tower'.

Two staff members in neat uniforms stood at the door. When they saw Lin Feng walking over, their eyes suddenly lit up.

They had spent many years welcoming and seeing off guests on this street; what kind of guest had they not seen?

But the person before them was wearing a full set of purple equipment, which couldn't be bought with money alone; it was a symbol of strength.

The two staff members bowed simultaneously, their smiles respectful to the point of being devout. "Sir, please come inside! We have private rooms on the second floor—quiet and with a good view!"

Lin Feng nodded and followed the staff member to the second floor.

The private room wasn't large, but it was exquisitely decorated.

From the window seat, one could see the scenery of the entire Commercial Street. A potted iron-leaf tree sat on the windowsill, pruned into a pagoda shape.

An ink wash painting hung on the wall, depicting a panoramic view of Zhenyue City with delicate brushstrokes and a grand atmosphere. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

The table and chairs were made of dark hardwood, polished as smooth as a mirror. A dark red tablecloth was spread over the table, with a set of celadon tea service placed upon it.

Lin Feng sat by the window, leaned the Wildfire Spear against the chair, and said to the staff member, "Serve a few signature dishes."

The staff member ◆ Nоvеlіgһt ◆ (Only on Nоvеlіgһt) nodded repeatedly, bowed, and backed out, gently closing the door.

Lin Feng picked up the teapot and poured himself a cup of tea. The tea was warm and had a fresh fragrance.

While drinking tea, he listened to the movements downstairs.

The first-floor hall was open-plan, with no private rooms, only dozens of square tables and long benches.
