Survival of the Nation: I Can Specify the Items That Will Drop

Chapter 206: Lucky Town

Lin Feng swiped across the light screen, pulling up the blueprint editing interface for the subsidiary town.

Since he was going to build it, he might as well do it right the first time.

He began sketching on the blueprint.

The residential area was placed in the northeast corner: one hundred rows of stone houses, each housing four families, enough to accommodate two thousand people.

Three-meter-wide alleys were left between the stone houses, complete with fire protection and drainage systems.

A deep-water well was planned for the center of the town, and the Council Hall was also built here to facilitate the handling of government affairs.

The commercial district was placed in the southeast, with taverns, general stores, blacksmith shops, tailor shops, and medicinal herb shops planned along the streets, leaving space for future expansion.

The military district was placed on the northwest side of the town, directly facing the direction of the Dungeon. It consisted of a barracks and a drill ground.

The artisan district and warehouse district were placed on the southwest side of the town, with eight workshops lined up and three large warehouses adjacent to them for easy transport of raw materials and finished products.

Lin Feng adjusted the layout several times, confirming that the distances between each area were reasonable and the movement flow was smooth before saving the blueprint.

He tapped on that location again.

【Confirm construction of a subsidiary town at this location?】

【Resource requirements: Wood × 1000, Stone × 1000, Iron Ingots × 200】

【Preset blueprint detected. Construction will proceed according to the blueprint.】

【Confirm/Cancel】

"Confirm."

The crystal suddenly jolted, and a golden pillar of light shot up from it, piercing through the roof and straight into the sky.

High in the air, the pillar of light veered west, like a golden arrow piercing the blood-colored sky, landing precisely on the marked location.

A hundred miles away, the earth began to shake. Wood and stone emerged from the void, as if controlled by invisible hands, piecing together, stacking, and fixing themselves in place one by one.

The foundation took shape first. According to the blueprint's divisions, one hundred squares for the residential area were neatly laid out.

The foundations for both sides of the streets in the commercial district spread out in sequence, while the military district's foundation was exceptionally thick, and the ground of the drill ground was pressed flat.

The foundations for the artisan and warehouse districts were lined up on the west side.

Immediately after, the skeletons of the buildings ❖ Nоvеl𝚒ght ❖ (Exclusive on Nоvеl𝚒ght) rose from the ground. The stone houses in the residential area stood up one after another, as neat as soldiers in formation;

The storefronts of the commercial district lined the streets, their facades varying in size but all uniformly leaving space for signs;

The barracks in the military district began to take shape, its thick stone walls twice as wide as those of ordinary houses;

The workshops in the artisan district were not ornate, but they were fully equipped with furnaces, workbenches, and air ducts;

The skeletons of the three warehouses were particularly tall, with high roofs to facilitate the stacking of goods.

Then came the walls, roofs, doors, and windows. Stone walls were built up block by block, fitting together seamlessly;

Tiles were laid out one by one, dense and compact; doors and windows were installed one by one, all facing the same direction.

Finally, the details. The deep-water well in the center of the town was completed, its ring carved from a single piece of stone;

The Council Hall stood beside the well; though not grand, it was spacious enough;

Wooden stakes and targets were erected on the military district's drill ground;

In the workshops of the artisan district, anvils, bellows, and workbenches were all placed in position;

Locks were hung on the warehouse doors, with keys inserted into the keyholes.

A small town, built from nothing, in just a matter of moments.

Stone walls, neat residential areas, a bustling commercial street, a sturdy military district, complete artisan workshops, large warehouses, a deep-water well, and a Council Hall.

Small as it was, it had everything it needed.

On the map, a blue point of light lit up at that location, and several lines of small text were automatically generated next to it:

【Subsidiary Town (Unnamed)】

【Status: Completed】

Lin Feng looked at that point of light, the smile on his face impossible to suppress.

A town-level territory has an exclusive economic zone within a ten-mile radius, which happened to encompass the entire Dungeon.

As of today, that Dungeon was his.

He reached out his finger, tapped on the blue light, and entered three words: Lucky Town.

"It shall be called Lucky Town," he whispered to himself, his gaze falling on the black marker of the Dungeon further away. "I hope you're Demon King class."

A notification popped up on the light screen: 【Subsidiary town successfully named Lucky Town】

He closed the map and turned to walk out of the room.

Downstairs, the Council Hall was brightly lit.

Zhang Ping was waiting at the door. Seeing him come down, he hurried to meet him.

"Lord, the battlefield has been cleared," Zhang Ping said, his voice carrying uncontrollable excitement.

"The various spoils have filled nearly half a warehouse. We made a huge profit from this battle."

Lin Feng sat down in a chair and signaled for him to continue.

Zhang Ping opened the ledger and reported line by line: "First, the siege engines. We captured twenty catapults—fourteen are intact, and the remaining six have some damage but can be used after repairs.

Over thirty scaling ladders, most in good condition. Also, two battering rams for the city gates, also intact."

Lin Feng nodded slightly. With twenty catapults, Fenghuo County's long-range strike capability had instantly doubled.

"There are quite a few weapons too." Zhang Ping turned a page. "Yellow Turban Army battle axes, spears, and maces—roughly four hundred pieces according to the statistics.

Most are of white and gray quality. The blacksmith shop is already sorting through them." 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

"What about armor?" Lin Feng asked.

"Fewer sets of armor, about a hundred or so, mostly leather. However, the two Chiefs dropped some good items: a set of Blue-quality iron half-armor and two Blue-quality bows.

Additionally, there are over a dozen pieces of Green equipment dropped from those Yellow Turban Fierce Generals."

Lin Feng's eyes lit up slightly. The Blue iron half-armor would be suitable for either Tie Dun or A Wang.

"And the other resources?"

Zhang Ping flipped to the last few pages: "A lot of miscellaneous items—tents, banners, pots, and pans, piled high.

We also captured some crystals: about two thousand Gray ones, over a hundred White ones, thirty-some Green ones, and ten Blue ones."

Lin Feng did a mental calculation: he already had about sixteen thousand Gray crystals, and combined with what remained in the warehouse and what was captured from the Yellow Turban Stronghold last time, he had nearly fifty thousand in total.

"Oh, and there's this." Zhang Ping picked up a cloth bag from the nearby table and handed it over.

"Dropped from one of the Chiefs."

Lin Feng took it and opened it; inside was a Class Change Book.

【Class Change Book: Rockstone Warlord (Warrior second promotion)】

Lin Feng's eyebrows rose slightly. This could be given to Tie Dun.

"Good job." He stood up and patted Zhang Ping on the shoulder.

"Let everyone get some good rest. There's more to do tomorrow."

Zhang Ping acknowledged and turned to go make the arrangements.

Lin Feng walked out of the Council Hall and stood on the steps, looking toward the west.

A hundred miles away, the newly built Lucky Town lay quietly beside the Dungeon, like a small beast crouching at the entrance of a cave.

Tonight, many people had died, many territories were gone, and many nations were destroyed.

But he had survived, and his territory had survived.

Although Heiyan Town and Qingmu County had also encountered a double Nightmare Tide, by coincidence, those two territories also possessed double the military force, so it wasn't a major issue.

More importantly, he had gotten ahead of everyone else.

Dungeons, the Adventurers Association, Territory Guardian Beasts, and Freeman—he knew these new rules earlier than others.

Knowing early meant he could prepare early, and preparing early was the only way to survive longer.
