Supremely Talented Tyrant
Chapter 2028 - 2229: Hah! Men!!
No wonder, no wonder Li Weiwei reacted that way. All those things in his mind that were puzzling and incomprehensible, at this moment, Hao Jian suddenly understood the whole reason behind it, and immediately his brow furrowed.
He originally didn’t know about this, just accidentally discovered this secret. At this moment, the sound of water was still constantly echoing in his ears, shaking his mind continuously.
Although knowing the mystery of the bathroom glass distracted him for a moment, once his mind returned, listening to the droplets of water, his mind once again started wandering. He felt that if he stayed here any longer, he might lose control of his innate male instincts.
After all, being alone in a room with a beautiful woman like Li Weiwei while she was taking a shower, and being able to see... He and Li Weiwei had an agreement, but knowing now that the glass was transparent, he might not control himself from turning back to look.
After all, human desires are endless, and in the face of desire, any vow is nonsense. Just like in the face of interest, any feelings are meaningless. If he couldn’t control himself, turning around to look would mean disregarding the previous agreement with Li Weiwei.
After all, inside was Li Weiwei, that Li Weiwei who was the dream girl of countless boys at Yawen. He is a normal man, it’s impossible not to have desires. Unexpectedly, he might lose control all of a sudden.
Suddenly, he made a decision to leave here. If he stayed here any longer, although he could still maintain some rationality now, later he might not be able to control himself, and regret would come too late if he did something excessive by then.
So, after much thought, he decided to leave here first, after all, he had already brought Li Weiwei to the hotel, and it seemed she had mostly sobered up, so no accidents could happen anymore. So his leaving wouldn’t matter much.
So he stood up, not turning towards the bathroom, but instead walked with his back towards it, silently heading out the door. By leaving like this, he wouldn’t see the situation inside the bathroom, and it wouldn’t break his agreement with Li Weiwei.
As he opened the door and stepped out, when the door closed, he took a long deep breath, then quickly walked to the elevator, took it down to the ground floor, and after exiting the hotel, took another deep breath, drawing surprised looks from passersby.
It was quite an attention-grabbing scene, someone wandering outside at night in wet clothes. In the light, Hao Jian’s wet clothes were quite obvious, and water was still dripping onto the ground, raising many curious glances.
But Hao Jian didn’t care that much, after calming his mind, he slowly walked back, hailed a taxi by the roadside, though initially the taxi driver declined because he was soaking wet, finally agreeing reluctantly after Hao Jian offered multiple times the fare.
......
Meanwhile, a few minutes later inside the hotel, Li Weiwei wrapped in a robe, came out of the bathroom. She originally wanted to get a hairdryer to dry her hair, but turning around to look, she didn’t see Hao Jian. She looked utterly surprised, walked out, and realized Hao Jian had really left, and seemed to have been gone for a few minutes.
She felt puzzled, not knowing why Hao Jian left so suddenly without a word. The striking color in the trash bin caught her eye, and she walked over, seeing a pile of tissues soaked in blood.
An astonished look appeared on her face, and the word "bad" popped into her head. Although she didn’t know exactly what happened or why Hao Jian left suddenly, seeing the pile of blood-stained tissues made her instantly understand.
Even though she was confused, she wouldn’t suspect that the blood came from an injury of Hao Jian. He hadn’t gotten hurt even in the earlier chaos with so many people, so it was unlikely for him to suddenly get injured within the hotel and bleed that much. The only possibility was that Hao Jian had a nosebleed.
She wasn’t a fool and naturally understood the basic conditions under which men have nosebleeds – it implied seeing something stimulating, such as... Her eyebrows furrowed slightly, and her whole face suddenly blushed. The warm shower in the bathroom had already given her skin a rosy hue.
But at this moment, just the thought that Hao Jian might have discovered the glass’s transparency made her face instantly turn red. And it was a depth of redness she had never experienced before, thoroughly flushed.
She never expected her body would be seen by a man in such a scenario, especially by Hao Jian. She was instantly hurt by rage. She had told Hao Jian not to turn around before going in, or he would lose the basic abilities of a man.
Yet this moment, finding out that Hao Jian had a nosebleed, proved that he must have seen something he shouldn’t have; otherwise, he wouldn’t have had a nosebleed. Which means Hao Jian broke the promise and turned around to look while she was showering.
"Ha! Men!" Li Weiwei said angrily.
She finally understood why Hao Jian had vanished right after she came out – doing something guilty, feeling embarrassed to face her, leaving immediately to avoid exposing himself.
Her eyes widened in anger, her resentment toward men, due to Hao Jian, reached a new height, clouding her mind with rage. Naturally, she hadn’t noticed the glass hanging on the wall, nor considered that Hao Jian might not have turned, only accidentally seeing her through the glass.
Filled with fury with nowhere to vent, she kicked over the chair. Just imagining her decades of purity destroyed by Hao Jian enraged her to no end. Hao Jian tried to leave it all behind as though nothing happened; this was unacceptable, utterly unacceptable. She was determined to make trouble for Hao Jian and let him know the consequences of tarnishing her purity.
"Humph!" She snorted angrily, and then grabbed the hairdryer to dry her hair. Tonight, she aimed to have a good sleep and would deal with Hao Jian tomorrow.
......
Just after getting off the taxi and going upstairs, Hao Jian pulled out his keys, ready to open the door, when he suddenly sneezed, "Achoo!" Following quickly by another two more "Achoos!"
"Who’s cursing me?" An old saying goes: one sneeze means someone is thinking of you, two or three means someone is cursing you. The thought immediately flashed in Hao Jian’s mind.
But after thinking it over, he found he hadn’t offended anyone recently, so why would anyone curse him? Then he figured it could be because he wore wet clothes for too long and caught a little cold, causing the sneezing. With this thought, he carefully used the key to open the door.
Upon opening the door, the lights inside were off, indicating that Liang Xiaohai had likely gone to sleep. He tiptoed quietly, headed to the bathroom to change out of his wet clothes, and put on a dry set. Seeing no movement in Xiaohai’s room, he promptly returned to his own room and settled into bed.
Exhausted by the ordeal with Li Weiwei, he fell asleep quickly after lying down.
The night passed just like that. By early morning, he got up, planning to wash up. However, the moment he opened the door, there stood Liang Xiaohai, seemingly waiting at the door for a long time.
"You scared me!" Hao Jian said, clutching his chest.
Liang Xiaohai, unfazed by his words, approached with an assertive demeanor, immediately questioning him, "What time did you come back last night?"
Hao Jian knew Xiaohai would question him first thing, so he explained, "I got hungry on the way, grabbed something to eat, and by the time I got back you were already asleep, so I didn’t want to disturb you."
Ignoring the explanation, Liang Xiaohai pressed on, "When exactly did you come back?"
Pretending to recall, Hao Jian said, "Around eleven, I think."
Knowing Xiaohai usually sleeps by ten for her beauty rest, she should have been asleep by then, so there shouldn’t be a problem.
But, hearing this, Liang Xiaohai’s face filled with rage.
"Eleven? I waited for you until eleven thirty, almost midnight! You came back at eleven?" She retorted.
Not expecting Xiaohai to wait so long, he thought she would sleep before then.
Forcing himself to remain calm, he replied, "Uh... maybe it was late and I got the time wrong, but I swear you were asleep when I got back."
Xiaohai, hearing this, was unsatisfied, and angrily said, "Full of holes! Tell me, what are you hiding? Did you do something you shouldn’t have last night?"
"Heaven and earth as my witness, the sun and moon can attest, I did absolutely nothing wrong!" Hao Jian, agitated, exclaimed in response to her accusation.
