Chapter 1055: Expected result.
A powerful blow from Idan sent the Dragoness flying, and she crashed into the invisible barrier of the arena.
Meanwhile, the armless vampire, using the energy of the blood, restored his limbs with incredible speed. At the same time, he tried to bind Idan’s legs with bloody chains that grew out of the ground.
“Not bad ” — Idan grinned. – “Blood, of course, is a powerful element, but…”
Flames shot out from his body, which, taking the form of blades, destroyed the bloody chains. Then all the blades rushed towards the vampire, who created his flaming bloody blades, strengthening his blood with the element of fire.
This was followed by a fierce clash of blades, flames lit up the arena, and the roar of explosions filled the air.
Taking advantage of the chaos, the vampire tried to retreat and put more distance between them.
In the next instant, Idan appeared in front of him, giving him neither a chance to retreat nor time to recover. He forcefully pinned him to the ground, using all the power of his Soul Force and the Energy of Madness.
Arabel, watching from the edge of the arena, pressed her hands to her chest. She was at a loss as to why Idan had suddenly become so strong and had the upper hand on the battlefield so easily. At the same time, pride and a slight tremor mixed in her loving soul.
“Graaaaa!” a powerful Dragon roar rang out, and the massive figure of a silver Dragon appeared at the edge of the arena.
“Wow!” Idan exclaimed in admiration when he saw his wife’s avatar in her Dragon form.
During the event, he was unable to see exactly what she looked like in this guise.
And now he was glad that one of his wishes had finally been fulfilled.
The Dragon’s body was covered with smooth silver scales that reflected the light with a cold, mirror-like sheen, as if each scale was a blade. On the curves of the neck, chest, at the base of the wings and tail, the scales were slightly lighter, almost white-silver.
The four horns on the Dragon’s head gave her a majestic appearance. The two main pairs, like a crown, went back in an arc, and the space around the head was slightly distorted.
The Dragon’s eyes remained bright red with a narrow vertical pupil, but in their true form they looked even scarier – like two scarlet cracks in the void.
On the Dragon’s back were huge silver wings with a translucent membrane, on which there were patterns resembling cracks in glass, a starry sky and jagged cracks.
The image was completed by a long, flexible and dangerous tail with a blade-like growth at the end.
Without taking her eyes off Idan, the Dragon spread her wings and dug her sharp claws into the ground, taking a deep breath. Then, opening her mouth, she released the famous Dragon’s breath in his direction.
Instead of the usual fiery breath, the deadly breath of the elements of space rushed towards him, mixed with the elements of ice, water, darkness and madness.
“That’s exactly what I need,” Idan said with a grin. To the horror of Arabel, who was watching the scene, he remained standing in place, making no attempt to evade. Instead, he picked up the still-not-fully-recovered, suppressed vampire and held it up in front of him like a shield.
“Don’t tell me he’s…” Arabel covered her mouth in shock when she saw the Dragon’s breath engulf them both.
A slight smile appeared on the vampire’s pale face before he was swallowed by the breath of the element of space, enhanced by other elements.
The ice and water completely suppressed his fire.
Darkness swallowed up the light, and lightning and madness could not be used, as the other one, the true one, held it with a firm and unbreakable grip.
All the vampire had left was his blood.
He had already realized that this was his end. He realized that her partner would not stop and, most likely, instead of helping, would kill him with his own hands.
Under the crushing force of his partner’s breath, all of his blood was destroyed and erased, as was his very existence.
It was only after everything was gone that the Dragon stopped using her breath.
“Ah! Thank God…” Arabel breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Idan was alive. Despite the damage to his clothes and small superficial wounds, he looked cheerful and full of energy. She started looking for the vampire, but she couldn’t find him. Her eyes shone with joy.
“He did it! He did it!” she repeated to herself, overwhelmed with emotions, as if she had just fallen in love.
Only then did she pay attention to the Dragon.
“There’s only her left,” her gaze became sharp.
Her hands itched to kill her own copy and competitor…
The Dragon stared unblinkingly at Idan, and he stared back at her.
They both understood that one of them had to die—there was no other way.
Avatar Arabel stopped resisting her nature and the will of the dungeon.
Idan hesitated only for a moment, but then his grip on the sword became confident, and the flame of determination burned in his eyes.
After a short pause, the Dragon rushed towards Idan, and he filled his sword with the power of fire and madness, using the technique he received from the System — “Sun Sword Slash”.
With one blow, the mighty Dragon was split into two parts, bringing events to an inevitable conclusion.
Like the vampire, there was no rage or surprise on the Dragon’s face, just a slight grin.𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Idan didn’t feel particularly happy. He was once again convinced of how great the difference in their strength was with and without the system.
Arabel ran up to Idan with great pride and relief.
“Dan! You were…” she hesitated, choosing her words.
“A cheater?” he chuckled, hugging her and feeling his status as a “Hearth Protector” slowly fade, returning his strength to its normal values.
“No, you are… you were so cool,” she confessed with a bright blush, snuggling against his chest.
While Arabel was gently hugging her husband, a system notification appeared in front of them.
