"So, you’re the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet!" Ye Fan exclaimed.

The red-robed female ghost replied, "That’s right!"

"I thought Divine Pets couldn’t speak!" Ye Fan said, stunned that the red-robed ghost could talk.

The red-robed female ghost scoffed, "That’s because we are the higher divine pets of the Divine Race Realm!"

"I see," Ye Fan murmured. He then declared, "You have plagued the human realm since the Ancient Times and were imprisoned by seven great sages. Today, I have come to end you for good!"

Ye Fan spoke with domineering confidence, as he truly believed himself to be on par with those seven great sages.

"Your idea is foolish," the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet said. "However, I can offer you a chance."

"What chance?" Ye Fan immediately asked.

"Become my consort and help me escape this body of deathly aura. I need your Life Energy. Give me half of your Life Energy, and I will grant you limitless power. Otherwise, you will die!" the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet commanded.

"Holy crap!" Ye Fan was about to lose it. Although he certainly liked women, his tastes weren’t so extreme as to include ghosts.

He cursed at the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet, "Don’t insult me! Face my sword!"

"Slaughter Sword Dao!" Ye Fan bellowed, unleashing the technique.

A tremendous Sword Qi pressed down, but the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet didn’t show any panic. Instead, she reached out with her right hand and grabbed his Yuanhong Sword. Ye Fan swung rapidly, but no matter how he tried, he couldn’t move the blade.

From within the Blood River, a massive blue phantom emerged as Ye Fan roared, "Wanxiang Divine Shield!" He commanded the phantom to slash down with its palm.

However, the red-robed woman blocked the attack.

"This is impossible!" Ye Fan was thoroughly shaken. His Wanxiang Divine Shield was immensely powerful, yet this ghost had blocked it with ease.

"Not yet!" Ye Fan retorted.

The Evil Vengeance Divine Pet seized him by the throat, then slashed his neck. His blood sprayed out, landing on her body. At this moment, the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet underwent a transformation. Seizing the opportunity, Ye Fan thrust the Yuanhong Sword straight through her body.

The Evil Vengeance Divine Pet coughed up a mouthful of blood. She was no longer a ghost or a Divine Pet, but a being of flesh and blood. She could feel pain.

"You want to kill me," she said coldly, staring at Ye Fan.

"That’s right!" Ye Fan declared firmly. He could not allow her to leave the Silent Spirit Pavilion alive. The Secular World would never be able to withstand such a Female Demon.

Instantly, the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet grew furious.

"You gave me this new life," she said, her voice filled with anguish. "Why must you be the one to take it away?"

Ye Fan yelled back, "Righteousness and evil cannot coexist! I will not let you leave this place alive!"

The Evil Vengeance Divine Pet struck out with her palm, sending Ye Fan flying. He was severely wounded. Even in her injured state, she could easily kill him.

Unresigned to his fate, Ye Fan watched helplessly as the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet began to chant a terrifying curse. As the incantation fell, he was violently dragged toward her.

The Evil Vengeance Divine Pet clutched his throat. Her breath was fragrant as an orchid as she whispered, "I couldn’t bear to kill you, yet you want to kill me?"

She dug her fingers deep into Ye Fan’s body.

Ye Fan let out a despairing scream. It was a pain that only he could possibly understand.

"Then let me grant you your wish!" the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet said coldly.

Ye Fan snarled, "You’re just a Divine Pet! Divine Pets should never dream of becoming human!"

He was growing weaker by the second. Just then, he struggled to pull out the Divine Talisman to eliminate the Evil Vengeance Divine Pet once and for all.
