Chapter 1692: Bianca

"I’m sorry, Master..."

"!!!" Nathan’s body trembled. He couldn’t help but recognize the girl before her. The girl looked a few years younger, but it was definitely the same person as the one in his second dream.

This girl was the disciple who apologized to him when she failed to defend his home.

"Nathan?" Vivian tilted her head in confusion, not knowing why Nathan had that expression.

Nathan gulped as he thought, ’No way. It’s impossible. Is the one in front of me really my disciple from that dream? Who is she? I don’t have the memory of her name, but...’

Nathan couldn’t help but remember the original Nathan’s journal. The original Nathan had one disciple. He mentioned her a lot.

However, there wasn’t a single mention of her origin. After reading the journal, Nathan had always thought that his disciple was a native, but what if his disciple was not a native?

Nathan had a lot of questions in his mind, but he wouldn’t be able to get the answer if he didn’t ask directly.

If the girl could answer a few questions, he would be able to determine what actually happened.

Nathan took a deep breath. He looked anxious, which worried them. Still, Nathan continued his steps without saying anything.

"!!!" The girl suddenly noticed his presence, especially since Nathan was not hiding his presence. "Aliens?"

The girl raised her fists while releasing her energy, but she widened her eyes the moment she realized the one in front of her was actually a human. "What?"

Nathan didn’t know what kind of expression he should make. In a way, she wasn’t his disciple. But he remembered how Elysion treated him.

Even though the current Nathan was different from the original Nathan, Elysion still treated him kindly. If Nathan wanted to recognize him as his teacher, Elysion would probably accept it without hesitation.

So, when Nathan faced her, he didn’t know whether he should approach her as a teacher or a bystander.

Nathan knew how much Bianca had sacrificed to follow the original Nathan. She had done a lot for this world.

At the same time, he wasn’t sure whether he should take her in. After all, just like Elysion, Bianca might have been marked by Azathoth. If she participated in the war, Bianca would become the beacon for the aliens to find him.

That was why Nathan didn’t know what he was supposed to do. He thought it was unfair to Bianca after everything she had done for the world.

If Mae were here, she would probably be able to see the enormous amount of karma that she possessed.

Nathan tried to offer his best smile and said, "Hello."

Bianca looked wary as she took a step back. She glanced left and right as though she were trying to find out an escape route.

"Don’t worry. You don’t have to try to escape. I’m not planning to harm you." Nathan shook his head. "I just happen to stumble upon you during my journey, so I can’t help but wonder how a girl like you is alone in this place."

"A girl? I am already strong enough to fight against a warrior class alien. Don’t treat me like a girl!" She gritted her teeth, glaring at Nathan.

"Is that so? I apologize then." Nathan scratched the back of his head. "My name is Nathan. Can I ask for your name, young lady?"

Bianca furrowed her brow. After considering it carefully, she gave him her name. "Bianca."

The moment he heard that name, it was clear that the girl in front of him was the original Nathan’s disciple.

However, he didn’t understand why Bianca was here. The only people who could travel to other continents were Nathan and his group.

From the journal, Bianca was mentioned first before the original Nathan was aware of this continent. So, he was confused. Did something happen that allowed Bianca to reach Gratzel?

Nathan smiled. "What are you doing here?"

"I’m..." Bianca didn’t plan to answer any longer, but before she could even do whatever she was thinking, her stomach growled.

Bianca’s face turned red in an instant. She clutched her stomach and said, "You heard it wrong. I’m not hungry."

Nathan smiled and took out a chicken stick. "Would you like to eat?"

"Ah..." Bianca drooled, but she soon shook her head and wiped her drool. "I’m not hungr—"

Before she finished her words, Nathan took out another one.

Bianca’s body shook, but her willpower was strong enough to resist it. She opened her mouth again, but Nathan simply took out another one every time she made a reaction.

It piled up to the point where she couldn’t refuse anymore. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

"I... I want to eat..." Bianca looked down, embarrassed.

"Sure. Come here." Nathan just stood there, making Bianca approach him. This would show that Bianca trusted him enough to receive his food.

As soon as she got close, Nathan handed the food to her.

Bianca devoured the food right away.

Nathan chuckled. "You can slow down. No one is going to steal your food."

"..." Bianca glanced at him but didn’t say anything.

"So, can you tell me what you’re doing here? I’m a bit surprised that there’s still someone who survives here."

Bianca looked at him before saying, "I don’t trust you. You don’t look like someone from here."

"Why?"

"Because your mouth and your speech are different. Are you from another continent?"

"You know there are other continents?"

"Everyone knows something like that." Bianca harrumphed.

"Are you not curious about why I can talk to you even though we’re speaking different languages?" Nathan asked.

Bianca shrugged. "Should I? You should be the one surprised by the fact that I can talk in your language."

Nathan raised his eyebrows, not expecting her to say it this way.

There was only one possible reason for Bianca’s confidence. Bianca was still speaking in her own language, so that meant she was talking through a sigil.

Luna could speak to the people on Gratzel because of the sigil that Crotto gave her.

In that case, Bianca should have a sigil as well.

"!!!" He finally came to a realization of what was going on.

The alien on this continent might have actually been in contact with Bianca and given the sigil to her.

There could only be one reason for that alien to give that sigil to Bianca. It also explained why the original Nathan thought Bianca could make the difference.

Bianca was the chosen person on this continent.
