’If anything strange pops up, then let me know immediately.’

The falcon and wolf responded back with enthusiastic cries, and Jason finally disconnected from the falcon.

"Hey, babe. We’re here."

Jason blinked his eyes open slowly, and he let out a calming sigh as he realised that the plane had already landed. Jason looked up to see Gina looking down at him with a soft smile, and Jason couldn’t help the loving grin that spread on his face. Jason reached up and pulled Gina down for a soft kiss, and Jason sighed once they separated before saying:

"Thanks for letting me sleep, babe."

Gina smiled with red cheeks and leaned down to give Jason another kiss.

"You’re welcome. You just looked so tired -"

"Ah-hem! You know we’re still here, right?"

Both Jason and Gina turned to the side, and they saw both Janet and Mira watching them with different expressions on their faces. Janet was frowning in annoyance at how lovey-dovey the couple was being, and Mira had the stupidest smile on her face as she watched the two of them! Jason chuckled slightly as he finally stood up, and he blinked in surprise when he looked out the window and he saw that the entire airport had been cleared out. There was a delegation waiting at the entrance of the airport for them, and Jason could recognize some of the high-ranking executives of the country standing there.

’I told the president not to let them know I was coming. How did they find out?’

Jason had tried his best to avoid a situation like this since he knew that his presence in any state or country would cause issues, but for some reason, it was impossible for Jason to go anywhere right now without people somehow finding out. Jason made his way out of the jet, and he grinned as he saw Ragnar lying on the ground and huffing playfully in his direction. Trigon and the other dragons were also standing around the large airport, and their large size almost made them look like they were planes waiting for takeoff! Jason walked over and rubbed Ragnar on the snout playfully while asking if he wanted to go back into the Alternate Dimension. Ragnar huffed some hot air in Jason’s face at that question, and Jason raised a brow before he chuckled. It seems the dragon wanted to explore Texas a little.

"Alright, you can fly around. But make sure you don’t leave the city and don’t eat any animals. Hey, look at me, I’m dead serious, you little bastard. The last time you guys went sightseeing, you ate more than a hundred thousand dollars’ worth of livestock! If I hear any reports that you’ve been stealing cows, I’ll ground you for the next ten years!"

Ragnar let out a loud growl like a child who was groaning about his parent’s order, and Jason just laughed as the large dragon let out a small stream of fire in thanks! The fire washed over Jason without doing any harm, and Jason clicked his tongue at the rebellious troublemaker before he waved his hand to tell the dragons that they could all leave!

Woosh!

A great gale wind travelled across the airport as all the dragons suddenly took off into the air, and the airport shook from the joyous roars that the dragons let out as they vanished over the horizon! Jason watched them go for a few seconds before he finally turned back to the delegates that were still waiting for him. There were looks of shock on the faces of the high-ranking executives as they watched the dragons, and Jason ignored all that and took Gina’s hand as they approached the airport terminal. There were two long lines of officers waiting on either side of the terminal, and they all saluted Jason as he approached! Jason nodded calmly to them, and he went to shake the hand of the older-looking man who was standing at the end of the welcome parade.

"Lord Jason, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Daniel Rust, and I’m the head of the Superhuman Troopers here in Texas. We’ll be responsible for guiding you through your stay here, so if you need anything at all, then please don’t hesitate to let us know."

Jason nodded along, and he was about to say something when Gina suddenly exclaimed from beside him!

"Mom! Dad!"

A few of Gina’s family members had been waiting inside the airport all this time, and once they saw that Gina had arrived, they quickly came out to greet her! Gina leapt off the ground with a wide smile on her face, and she flew forward and grabbed both her parents in the biggest hug ever! Gina hadn’t seen her parents in nearly four months now, and as she held them close, Gina could feel tears coming to her eyes as she realised just how much she had missed them!

Gina’s mother and father looked like typical Texans. Her father’s name was Jonas Fey, and he was a chubby man with a strong body, a beer belly, and a kind face. He had on a pair of thick jeans and a t-shirt with a cowboy hat and boots completing the look. Gina’s mother was a woman named Bett Fey, and she was also wearing cowboy boots over a shirt and jeans. Her red hair had been cut into a bob style, and it framed her beautiful face perfectly. It was obvious that Gina had gotten her looks from her mother! Along with the parents, some of Gina’s cousins, aunts, and uncles were also present there. None of them were superhumans, so they couldn’t feel any mana from Gina and Jason, but they could all tell that there was something significantly different about Gina compared to the last time they met her! Gina had this confident pressure around her that made her seem like someone you shouldn’t dare to go against, and the family all realised that Gina was really one of the most powerful superhumans in the world at this moment!

Mira and Janet also came up to say hello to the family, and Jason stayed back to give the SHT a few orders about how he wanted his stay to be. Jason didn’t want any crowd at his in-laws’ place, so he asked for a perimeter around the house, and he also asked the SHT to keep a watch out for any Gates that might pop up in the area. Jason and Gina had suppressed their mana before coming here, but they still had enough mana flowing off them to shoot the mana concentration in this area through the roof, so the SHT needed to be ready in case it caused a Gate to appear. The leader of the SHT nodded seriously when he heard all this, and Jason patted the man on the shoulder before he finally went to greet his in-laws.

Everyone from Gina’s family seemed to go quiet once they saw Jason coming closer with his hands in his pockets. There was a slightly tired look in Jason’s eyes at that moment, but none of them even bothered to notice something like that! Instead, everyone felt nervous as they wondered how they were going to interact with someone like Jason! Everyone in the Fey family had known Jason right from when he was little! They all watched Jason and Gina grow up together, and they were used to seeing Jason as the young, passionate boy who worked hard to take care of his family! But right now, they couldn’t think of Jason like that again! Not only was Jason the strongest superhuman in the world, but the family had been seeing Jason on the news with multiple world leaders all over the world, and they knew that Jason was one of the most powerful men alive!
