Chapter 265: Miquella Becomes Trina, Radahn and His Steed

The moment Arthur returned to the Zen Garden, he was greeted by the sight of Malenia pinning Radahn to the ground and beating him mercilessly.

Yes—Radahn was now living in Arthur's Zen Garden as well.

Originally, Radahn had been staying with his younger brother. But some time ago, encouraged by Radahn himself, Hagrid finally decided to resolve the misunderstanding between himself and Madame Maxime.

Taking advantage of the summer break, Hagrid chased Madame Maxime all the way to France.

Left alone and thoroughly bored, Radahn eventually sought Arthur out, saying he wanted to stay in the Zen Garden for a while.

After moving in, he found himself extremely grateful for that decision.

Life here was far more interesting than sitting alone in Hagrid's hut.

On ordinary days, he could go fishing, play with his eldest niece Leyna, or wander through the Zen Garden observing the various creatures that lived there.

Of course, his favorite activity was galloping across the Garden atop a Pegasus.

At the beginning of the previous school year, Arthur had planned to bring several flying horses into the Zen Garden. Through Lockhart's extensive connections, he had purchased a herd early on.

Radahn immediately took a liking to them.

He had always loved the feeling of riding and charging across open land, and he cherished his mounts deeply. Back when he still possessed his physical body, he had even sought out gravity magic to lighten his own weight—simply to avoid crushing the thin warhorse that had once fought beside him.

That horse had eventually died, a loss Radahn never truly forgot.

So when he saw the powerful winged Pegasi in the Zen Garden, he could hardly contain his joy.

These magnificent creatures seemed made for him—large enough to carry his size without strain.

Even though he now existed as a spirit and possessed no real weight, the feeling of riding again still mattered to him.

Not long ago, Radahn had been racing across the fields with Leyna when a sudden tremor echoed from afar.

Riding to higher ground, they saw something astonishing—the city of Elphael and the Sacred Tree, newly manifested by the system.

After a brief discussion, the two decided to investigate.

But as soon as they approached, they encountered Malenia, who had awakened from the disturbance and was surveying her surroundings.

Their meeting could only be described as inevitable.

Though there was no true hatred between them, their battle in the Swamps of Aeonia had been real. Both were warriors who pursued strength above all else. Neither had ever been satisfied with an ending that left both sides grievously wounded.

So after only a few exchanged words, they began fighting again.

Both now existed as spiritual bodies, having lost their original forms, and their strength was roughly equal.

But Malenia had help.

Latenna, who had also awakened, and the jellyfish sisters—seeing Malenia under attack—immediately joined the fight.

No matter how powerful Radahn was, two fists could not match many hands.

Especially when the jellyfish sisters alone had more than enough tentacles to count.

Without suspense, Radahn quickly fell into a disadvantage.

Of course, if he had asked Leyna for help, the outcome might have changed. Leyna's strength was far from weak, and her petrifying gaze made her arguably the strongest person present.

But Radahn's pride would never allow it.

Least of all when the person helping him would be his own niece.

And so Arthur arrived to witness exactly this scene.

Seeing the fight, he made no move to intervene. Instead, he sat down beside Leyna, pulled out a bag of sunflower seeds, and began watching the show.

He could tell at a glance that neither side was fighting seriously. They weren't using abilities or techniques—only clashing with their spiritual bodies.

That was why Leyna hadn't tried to stop them either.

The fight continued fiercely—until both combatants turned and noticed Arthur calmly snacking nearby.

He even offered Leyna some seeds.

Radahn and Malenia immediately stopped.

Neither of them had any interest in being entertainment for others.

Not even for Arthur.

Radahn climbed to his feet and complained, "Brother-in-law, couldn't you help a little?"

Arthur spread his hands helplessly.

"This is between the two of you. I'm not getting involved. Besides, you're both close to me—helping either side would make me the bad guy."

Malenia, however, cared less about the fight and more about something else entirely.

"Where is this?" she asked. "And… my brother?"

Arthur explained, "This is the Zen Garden. It's a world that belongs to me."

He briefly described its nature and characteristics before continuing,

"As for your brother… well. You might be calling her sister from now on."

When the Sacred Tree had been manifested earlier, Arthur had instructed the system to transform Miquella's consciousness into Trina, allowing the female personality to take dominance.

The result was even more thorough than he expected.

Not only had Miquella become Trina, but Miquella's memories and existence had completely merged into her.

In a sense, Miquella no longer existed as a separate identity.

Only Saint Trina remained.

That was why Arthur said Malenia would now call her sister.

Malenia frowned slightly.

"What do you mean?"

Arthur didn't answer. Instead, he pointed behind her.

"You'll understand if you turn around."

Malenia turned.

There stood her brother.

And yet… not her brother.

The figure before her bore Miquella's familiar features—beautiful and ethereal as ever—but softer now, gentler.

Long pale-gold hair was braided and draped across the chest.

And where that chest had once been flat, there was now a subtle, unmistakable curve.

Miquella… was gone.

Before her stood Trina.
