Hearing Su Wanyi’s words, Ye Chen felt a bit depressed.

It seems this girl doesn’t believe in his investment sense at all.

The two people walked out of the café and drove towards the cinema.

Arriving at the cinema entrance, Ye Chen parked the car and took Su Wanyi inside.

Several movies were showing recently, but Su Wanyi chose an animation movie, "Green Snake: Rebirth".

This movie is the sequel to "White Snake: Origin", telling a sisterhood story with an unexpected ending.

Su Wanyi is naturally someone who has a very low threshold for tears, and she cried her eyes out in the cinema.

"Ye Chen, this movie is so touching, the White Snake actually sacrificed herself for the Green Snake." Su Wanyi said, choking up.

"Yeah, indeed, alright Wanyi don’t cry, it’s just a movie after all, why take it so seriously?" Ye Chen patted her little head and said.

After the movie ended, Su Wanyi couldn’t get out of the storyline for a long time.

Ye Chen hadn’t expected that a movie meant for a relaxing time ended up making Su Wanyi cry a lot.

Perhaps this is also a way to relieve stress.

When they walked out of the cinema, it was already quite late, but unfortunately, Ye Chen still had to drive Su Wanyi back to the company since there were some tasks that hadn’t been dealt with yet.

"Wanyi, you should take care of your health and not work too late." Ye Chen advised.

"Mm, don’t worry, drive safely and give me a call when you get home." Su Wanyi got out of the car, waved him goodbye, and said.

Ye Chen turned the car around and headed towards Hua Mansion.

Originally, they planned to have dinner together, but Su Wanyi wasn’t in a good mood after watching the movie and lost her appetite, so they didn’t have dinner together.

He went to the Golden Arches, ordered a burger and drinks to take home.

Once he got home, the first thing he did was take out his phone and assure Su Wanyi that he was safe.

"Wanyi, I’m home, you can rest assured." Ye Chen said with a smile.

"Ye Chen, I’m really sorry, because of me, you didn’t have dinner; you must be starving." Su Wanyi said apologetically.

"No, I actually wanted to lose some weight, so this is just an opportunity." Ye Chen said while glancing at the takeout bag next to him.

"Are you kidding me? I had no idea you wanted to lose weight." Su Wanyi teased.

Ye Chen quickly said, "I’m telling the truth, I haven’t been working out recently and I feel like I’m gaining weight, I can’t keep going like this."

Hearing Ye Chen say so, Su Wanyi no longer felt guilty.

"Mm, then you should rest early, you won’t feel hungry once you’re asleep." Su Wanyi said with a smile.

"Alright, you too, don’t work too late, staying up is bad for your health." Ye Chen again advised.

After chatting a bit more, they hung up the phone.

Ye Chen took the burger and drink out of the bag and thought to himself, "How could losing weight be possible? Food is the most important thing, not a meal should be missed."

Ye Chen ate two burgers in a row and drank a lot of beverages.

He let out a satisfied burp, patted his belly in contentment, and smiled.

Filling the belly is simply one of the greatest joys in life.

After eating, Ye Chen quickly went to the bathroom for a shower, then comfortably lay down in bed.

Perhaps he was too tired today, as he soon fell into a deep sleep.

Meanwhile, Su Wanyi was still at the computer, typing away, constantly busy.

"Since that’s the case, why don’t we have a game later, just as I don’t have any training tasks today." Zhang Xu suggested with a laugh.

"Not now, I still have classes." Ye Chen declined.

He was telling the truth, as he still had to attend lectures and participate in group discussions, hardly leaving time to play with Zhang Xu.

Moreover, Ye Chen simply didn’t want to compete with Zhang Xu.

"Well, you’ll have time at noon, won’t you?" Zhang Xu asked again.

Seeing Zhang Xu still insisting, Ye Chen knew it would look like he was afraid if he kept dodging.

He nodded and said, "Alright, see you on the court at noon then."

Just then, Ye Chen’s phone rang, and seeing the call was from Song Xiaoxiao.

"Ye Chen, where are you?" Song Xiaoxiao asked.

"I’m at the school gate." Ye Chen replied.

Zhang Xu had obviously realized who Ye Chen was talking to, having seen "Song Xiaoxiao" displayed on the phone screen.
