The power of emptiness flared as soon as it came within sight. Life and death materialized, filling the dao mark with death qi. The chaos trembled as... the peak sixth rank died!

Whether it was Panther, Number Two, or the watching Silver Moon exalted emperors... all of them stared, in a daze. Was this Li Hao and Void’s true strength?

The two had mostly fought seventh ranks before this, which made the fights arduous and required the usage of time. They’d also needed to constantly revitalize themselves to barely hold their own against the seventh ranks.

But now, the two were up against a sixth rank!

Thus, it took only a second before their opponent died. That was shocking!

More than anything, this served to highlight that the two were no longer regular mid ranks.

Li Hao quickly scanned the world after killing their target and shook his head with a frown. He transmitted to Void, “There’s only this sixth rank and a few low ranks here!”

There was no seventh rank. It looked like the mysterious chaos beast was not in Desolate major world.

Void breathed out, returning to his senses. He no longer felt a sense of accomplishment at killing peak sixth ranks anymore.

“The seventh rank doesn’t look to be here,” he nodded. “Do we conquer this world first, or continue the search?”

They needed to eliminate that seventh rank!

As for whether there was more than one seventh rank here, that remained to be seen. But since the Dragon master had marched out in conquest of other regions, in particular New Martial, he wouldn’t leave behind too many seventh ranks.

There was probably only one at home. So at this moment, Li Hao and Void could only take the gamble.

“Keep looking! We’ll leave behind some exalted emperors to clean up the low ranks...” Li Hao swiftly released some exalted emperors, among them the mid rank Celestial Pole and Pagoda King.

“You guys are in charge of eliminating all of the exalted emperors on this world! We’ll continue to look for the seventh rank. Remain quiet and keep a low profile before they surface!”

The Celestial Pole and Pagoda King looked at each other, nodding. It would be safe here. The sixth rank was dead, leaving behind small fry in the world. If they followed Li Hao in searching for the seventh rank, any developments would be highly dangerous.

They were quite satisfied with the current arrangements. It looks like the Silver Moon king knows us well. He knows we’re afraid of dying. We’ve built the proper image for ourselves!

Li Hao didn’t stay long at Desolate major world. His most pressing concern was to eradicate the seventh rank nearby. The Thunder master had said that the seventh rank was most likely to be in Earth Dragon major world.

Its world master had been a peak sixth rank a while back. Perhaps it’d set foot into seventh rank already. Powerhouses of that caliber did not appear out of thin air, after all. They had a certain foundation to draw from.

Thus, it seemed that the seventh rank was more likely than not to be at Earth Dragon. That world wasn’t too far away from Desolate, but it would take Li Hao’s group around half a day to travel there.

“C’mon, let’s head to that world!”

Void nodded, full of confidence. It was the first time that he felt he was still quite strong. So what of a seventh rank?

The two crossed through the void and flew toward Earth Dragon in the distance. They could see the world from where they were, but it would take some time to travel to it.

At the same time, Earth Dragon.

Most world masters either walked through chaos or hovered near their world gates. This major world, on the contrary, appeared to develop in a more natural fashion. Its world master had not been seen in a very long time.

It was apparently sleeping most of the time.

A ginormous earth dragon beast slumbered within the empty world barrier. Well, it wasn’t truly asleep since it didn’t dare doze off. It’d been keeping an eye on the surroundings as of late. But since the Thunder master had made his intentions known, it could sleep with peace of mind now.

It’d stayed here as opposed to marching with the Dragon master for one reason only—to prevent the Thunder master from doing anything. Its mission was to preoccupy the Thunder master.

But since the human had appeared on his world and challenged the Phoenix master, then these matters had nothing to do with it.

It was finally time to continue sleeping. Its mission was complete, which was fantastic. It didn’t have to fight the Thunder master. That human was formidable even when absent from his world. The chaos beast might not be able to overcome that opponent.

It snored with contentment for a while before the massive entity opened its eyes. Its seventh rank might and dao strength had alerted it to something unusual. It clambered to its feet.

Eyes that shone as brightly as a sun looked into the distance. The world gates were there. It had abandoned them in favor of a comfortable sleeping spot. The earth dragon wasn’t concerned about trespassers slipping through them.

As a seventh rank chaos beast, it was not afraid of such dangers. But now, it could clearly sense some lurking threats.

And then, it saw the threats!

The Exalted Desolate Emperor had seen a cat and a dog, but the honorable Earth Dragon ignored the cat and dog. It focused on the two humans standing beneath the dog’s ears!

Humans?

The earth dragon jerked with surprise. It wasn’t that there were no humans in Dragon Region, but that no human dared set foot into a sixth rank world.

Both Li Hao and Void were startled when they entered the world. The seventh rank was... right underneath the world barrier? And was a dragon?

Or at least, it looked like a dragon. Li Hao had seen dragons before, so he could tell that this one was different. It was much uglier.

So this is an earth dragon?

Whatever it was, he knew that this was the seventh rank. Instead of an earth dragon appearing in his eyes, an incredibly thick great dao materialized instead. In contrast to wandering human seventh ranks, a chaos beast’s dao was rooted in the depths of the chaos universe.

Humans cultivated the dao domain. They could not reach seventh rank without one.

Chaos beasts, however, just needed to place their dao amid the messy disarray of chaos daos and extract chaos strength. Even if they only had one dao that was strong enough, that would propel them to seventh rank all the same.

Human bodies could not endure the frenzied violence of chaos strength.

When it came to dao universes, the only difference that made to chaos beasts was that they could purify their chaos strength. Beasts with dao universes seemed more civilized, those without were more savage.

The world of emptiness surfaced and enveloped the entire world. But when it shifted next to the earth dragon, the power of emptiness was extinguished.

The massive chaos beast recovered its senses. It glared frostily at the two humans and beasts in front of it. “Humans?”

How dare they!

It didn’t care about humans; it was just taken aback that some had dared enter its world! Clearly, these two were neither high ranks nor the Thunder master. The earth dragon didn’t care where they came from. It was just curious that their immediate reaction wasn’t to run upon seeing it, but to attack!

One had deployed a world of emptiness and the other was doing something even more incomprehensible.

Li Hao had sent the star of time into the air and the river of dao around the world. Tiny worlds hovered into view, nearly enveloping the entire sixth rank world!

Was this... concealing heaven and earth? What did these two mean by it?

The earth dragon looked around blearily. Four mid ranks had entered its world, but their immediate reaction wasn’t to run. Instead... it was to hide the world.

The chaos beast was becoming confused. Could these two not identify how strong it was? Looks like their eyes aren’t good for much!

“Go on, Void!” Li Hao grunted when the earth dragon lumbered into action.

Void shot forward without a word!

Li Hao was still weaving his dao net, so he needed to fully seal off the area. Otherwise, pitched battle that involved a seventh rank would overburden the world of emptiness.

He needed to contain the situation with the river of time!

Not only that, but the two dao masters appeared as well. They flared the dao universe outward, enveloping the entire sixth rank world. A dense array of minor worlds studded the air, blotting out the skies of the sixth rank world.

Up ahead, Void had already exchanged blows with their target. Battle was joined!

The earth dragon was a bonafide seventh rank. A shockingly magnificent surge of chaos strength proved fourth. It swept its tail forward, shattering the void and world barrier!

It was so overwhelmingly strong!

Void had been highly confident before, seeing as he and Li Hao had both occupied an upper hand when facing the Thunder master. Hence, he watched to directly confront their next opponent. Light and darkness manifested with a point of his finger, life and death erupted!

Boom!

A massive explosion rang through the world as his finger split apart. Void shook with incredulity! His dao strength was even starting to dissipate, but his attack had left only a nearly imperceptible mark on the earth dragon’s enormous tail.

Void’s jaw dropped, as did the chaos beast blink with astonishment. How... was this possible?

Although it was just a tiny mark on its tail, it was a seventh rank chaos beast. Its physical body was the strongest weapon in its arsenal.

When it came to seventh rank, humans possessed immensely profound great dao. But chaos beasts occupied absolute advantage when it came to physical bodies. That was their greatest trump card!

Chaos beasts mostly employed the same attack methods, no matter the race. They made use of their physical strength to ignore all dao methods and rip their opponent apart.

Some chaos beasts were adept at certain daos, such as fire for phoenixes, earth for earth dragons. The latter possessed immense defensive capabilities. They could obliterate a sixth rank with a sweep of their tail!

But this person had simply splintered their finger and even managed to hurt it!

“Ming Tang?” realized the earth dragon. An arctic look entered its eyes as it regarded Li Hao and Void. “I was wondering who it was, so it’s you two! You’ve got some nerve! Do you really think you’re invincible after killing Waterpeak?”

It knew who the trespassers were and why they were so arrogant as to seal off the world as soon as they arrived.

“You guys think incorrectly! Waterpeak was not fighting in her world, which weakened her by at least thirty percent! That does not come into play for chaos beasts!”

They were all the same, whether they possessed a dao universe or not. You’ll be hugely mistaken if you think of me as one of you weakling humans! I am just fine without a dao universe! A seventh rank chaos beast and seventh rank human are completely different concepts!

“Are you digging your own grave, king of Silver Moon?” It laughed at Li Hao before vanishing.
