“One thousand worlds is just the number I have for now.” Li Hao smiled. “That doesn’t mean I won’t comprehend more and form more worlds. We still have a bit of time. I have a chance to add to them if I want!

“What I’m curious about is whether the dao of faith is needed to become part of the chaos dao. If not, I don’t mind having someone else melding with the chaos as well.”

Was it the queen’s dao of faith that made this possible for her, or could anyone manage the feat?

“I think it has to do with faith that she can cultivate chaos dao, and the fact that she replaced the Moon God. She’s not a pure human anymore. She even seems to be becoming a god through faith. Her physical body’s turned into a special existence...”

The exalted emperors in the surroundings looked at each other with widened eyes. What! You want us to try? What if we just melt away? You’re not a good cat! You’re such a violent cat!

“Forget it, one experiment is enough,” Li Hao laughed. “If we try more and people do die, that’d be a hassle. I wouldn’t be able to hold up under the strain if they don’t die either. One is already enough trouble. I won’t be able to absorb so much energy if there’s multiples!

“Teacher, move faster, let’s try to get this done in three days!”

“......” Yuan Shuo picked up a dao star without a word and projected himself out of his body with a huff. The auras of his Five Styles came together like a soul projection. He took the dao star with him and burrowed into the star of time.

This job couldn’t be performed by just anyone. No one else’s auras were necessarily as strong as Yuan Shuo’s. It would be very difficult for them to enter the star of light, and they might easily be destroyed by the star once inside.

With his teacher helping him, all Li Hao needed to do was keep a steady hand at the helm. Void and Number Two next to him were in charge of suppressing the rampaging chaos strength.

Each star was gradually transplanted into the star of time. Minor worlds connected to each other around it; the world of ingress was at their center. Li Hao looked at the strengthening world.

“If I really do form ten thousand worlds in the future, this world of ingress will probably be a very strong world!”

“This world is translucent and crystalline—I think it can be called a world of immortals!” Void nodded while he kept control over the situation from the side. “Ethereal qi floats through it. Granted, anyone who knows the truth will know that the qi are impurities being expelled...”

“That’s right!” Li Hao threw his head back with laughter. “But ethereal qi sounds more... civilized! If this world really does become a real world, it’s worthy of being hailed a world of immortals!”

That was the case because the world itself was expelling impurities. Clouds and mist rose from it, as if the home of immortals in myths!

Were there immortals in the chaos?

“How can there be a world of immortals without one for demons and gods? Brother Void, which of these one thousand minor worlds do you think should be the world of demons and which one should be for gods?”

“You’ve seriously got too much time on your hands!” Void laughed. “Are you going to name all of these worlds? Which do you think should be the one of humans? Is it going to be worse than the one of immortals? The immortal world is like a crystal. I think it’s very difficult for any world to surpass it...”

“Nah!” Li Hao burst out laughing as well. “The star of time is the human world. It is the accumulation and combination of a myriad daos. That is what is meant to be human! The other worlds excel in one dao only, but not all of their daos are strong.

"Only time is comprehensive and provides access to all daos. It can strengthen every dao as well. That is a true world of humans! Humans are invincible throughout heaven and earth...”

Void blinked at his friend. Al... right. But okay, we’re all humans here, so what you say makes sense. We are the strongest race within the chaos. We are equipped with all daos and can combine them as one. That is what is meant to be human!

When it comes to a world of immortals, it’s strong in one dao, but that’s it! And while that may be easier to cultivate when one is weak, it’s always a joint combination of daos that is stronger when we advance!

“You... really dare to dream big!” Void sighed with appreciation. “Strengthen these one thousand worlds first, then produce an origin of life, then living beings. You will be invincible then! But you’re far from it right now, so what you speak of the myriad of worlds is just some random pockets of space!”

“We’ve got to have some goals in life to work toward!” Li Hao nodded with a smile. “So my goal is to turn the worlds into real worlds! A myriad of daos will connect to a myriad of worlds! Let’s dream even bigger.

“I’ll create that second chaos! It’s fine if I don’t succeed, but I’ll be invincible if I do!”

Void threw his head back with laughter. That was right. He should support his friend’s ambitions. The man did find it highly unfeasible that it would come to pass—the origin of life was an enormous issue. A myriad of worlds was nothing, that was actually within Li Hao’s grasp!

The two highly enjoyed their conversation. The others listened with raised eyebrows. These two certainly had lofty ideals in mind! They were playing with the worlds in their hands. So Li Hao’s goal was to turn them into real worlds. Wasn’t that a complete recreation of the chaos?

The queen listened with an amazed look. These guys loved to talk big!

She looked at the glittering world. So this was the world of immortals? It was very pretty!

But when she thought of how the clouds drifting in its skies were actually expelled impurities... which took the shape of farts when they were rejected from a human body... the world lost its grandeur. Gross!

The rest of the crowd milled around. Meanwhile, Yuan Shuo wanted to lie down from how tired he was. Woe was he!

He was the weakest among them since he wasn’t even an exalted emperor, but he did the most work. His unfilial disciple was having a grand ole time chatting with others, but he had to ferry dao stars back and forth. That unfilial little bastard!

Passages of time quickly connected to the minor worlds. Tendrils of chaos strength began to extend from the star of time and enter the immortal world. Once they were purified, they entered the rest of the worlds.

Some of the impurities that evaporated from the immortal world turned into river water. They entered the river of dao. This was an intermingled energy of the chaos; not a single drop went to waste.

The queen furiously shoved chaos strength into her dao meridians when she saw what resulted from Li Hao’s plan. She hadn’t been able to expel any of it from her body before, but now, whatever she vanished was quickly absorbed and converted. Nothing was squandered.

The ginormous moon slowly began to shrink. A delighted queen was able to return to her true form after a while. It was working!

She’d thought that she was on the verge of exploding, but everything was fine in a split second. She suddenly felt that as much of a jerk Li Hao could be, at least he had true ability to his name. If this matter had gone to someone else to handle, they might not have been able to do so. It would’ve stymied even seventh and eighth ranks.

And yet, Li Hao solved it without too much effort.

As the queen celebrated, Li Hao dumped a metaphorical bucket of cold water over her. “I repeat what I said earlier, this only treats the symptoms and not the source! If you improve too quickly and eclipse me, then my worlds will be saturated and I won’t be able to save you!

“It won’t work even if I continuously release dao strength because the core nature of the worlds will be completed. We only have so many exalted emperors at hand. Even if they cultivate at a furious pace, they won’t be able to digest the strength of the entire chaos!

“In addition, I need to absorb other worlds as well...”

Here he’d been thinking that he lacked a perpetual motion motion, one that would continuously create energy for his simulation of the chaos. Now he had it!

The queen was the machine!

The immaterial worlds had been a closed loop before; energy was neither active nor flowed freely. Now with the support of the queen’s dao meridians, those problems no longer existed!

“If I devour the worlds outside and have the queen constantly supplying energy, I might... be able to quickly set foot into sixth rank!” Li Hao grinned and turned to the rest. “Since Thunder World hasn’t started anything yet, we can go first! Everything is ready, we just need something to kick it off.

“The location for humanity to gather is ready, there is nothing holding us back. Those without faith will migrate to one world for now. Senior Number Two, I need you to work with Panther. One of you will move Silver Moon around and the other will move the world without faith. Follow me!”

The cat rolled its eyes, but did not refuse.

Li Hao looked at the other exalted emperors, then at Yuan Shuo.

“Teacher, there are bound to be worlds of the five elements this time. Whether or not your dao domain is complete, you need to verify your dao. I don’t know when the next time we gather all five elements will be.”

Yuan Shuo looked gravely at his student. Must he verify his dao? Did his student feel that a great war was about to commence, that he would not survive unless he was an exalted emperor?

Is he really going to attack a major world?

Yuan Shuo nodded after quietly thinking it over.

Li Hao would probably attack a seventh rank at the fastest speed possible after he took down these worlds. He wanted to help Void ascend to seventh rank, then sweep through Dragon Region. Perhaps his campaign might start before war erupted in Blazing Sun Region.
