White mused, looking at the cash.

It was a bit tempting to own his own house, but he shrugged that idea off.

And besides, trying to buy a house would require having his identity confirmed, along with documentation of the location and his name stamped there.

Something that an enemy with sufficient authority would be able to access.

A holograph soon appeared, and it was a man White wasn’t exactly happy to see.

He said as White’s brows furrowed.

He had left a chance for Humanity Ascension to redeem itself, and it was smart enough to do that.

There was a main street, and it was calm since it was late.

Jumping high into the air, massive wings ripped out behind him and he rushed outward, disappearing into the distance.

He understood what they were saying.

They must have turned it off because of him.

He asked with a scoff as the dark-haired man laughed.

He said as he led White deeper into the ship, and the hatch shut closed before the mothership shot into the distance.

White found himself in a dimly lit room, before a massive table.

"I’m guessing you’re the Supreme Commanders."

"We wish to make our position regarding your existence unequivocally clear."

It was just like he had guessed.

The choice had been so stupid White knew no one with half a brain would have chosen that route with him.

If this was how they handled things, Humanity would have been destroyed ages ago.

But after he had been turned so easily against him by that Supreme Commander, he didn’t have that much of a good feeling toward the Commander anymore.
