Shattering Humanity
Chapter 266: Abby
"Permission [to fight] is given to those against whom war is being wrongfully waged and, verily, God has indeed the power to succour them.
Those who have been driven from their homelands against all right for no other reason than their saying. "Our Sustainer is God!"
For, if God had not enabled people to defend themselves against one another, [all] monasteries and churches and synagogues and mosques - in [all of] which God’s name is abundantly extolled - would surely have been destroyed [ere now]. And God will most certainly succour him who succours His cause: for, verily, God is most powerful, almighty.
[Well aware of] those who, we firmly establish them on earth, remain constant in prayer, and give in charity, and enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong; but with God rests the final outcome of all events." -Ayah al-Hajj(The Pilgrimage) 22:39-41

[Sanpaku Training Area]
As the original commotion and excitement over the room full of supplies and defenses is settled down, Aiden is searching through a crate full of books from Roronora City’s library.
He is taking out one at a time, observing the cover and title of each book.
If it catches his interest, or seems to possibly hold useful information he can use to help Takamagahara/Sanpaku, the young intellectual puts the many chosen in stacks next to him.
All the children’s books, "For Goobers" help manuals, and any other reading material the genius seems unworthy goes into an empty seperate crate.
Sol and Scylia come over while they are both snacking on a couple chocolate and cream center cookies from the new food supply.
Sol: "Want some help?"
Aiden: "Thank you, but I’m not really looking for anything in particular.
Anything I can use to possibly help Katsu and Shelly get better."
Scylia smiles while she carefully drops to her knees beside the wooden box.
Scylia: "I hope you know Aiden, it’s inspiring watching you, a genius, doing whatever you can to help our division captains. Your commitment shows they have clearly been a positive influence on you."
Eye resting Saku sitting against the wall, is able to clearly hear what the woman is saying.
He opens his right human eye, knowing all too well Katsu might not be as genuine as he appears to everyone else.
Sol dips into the trove of literature and pulls one out. Her head tilts as she is trying to remember something.
Then it clicks once she sees the broken heart tattoo on her knuckle.
Sol: "Hey, didn’t you say you were into art too?"
Aiden perks up and is without a doubt, he is interested more in the reasoning behind her question.
Without elaborating any further, she hands the hardcover textbook over to Aiden.
He turns it over to the front cover, the title "The Psychology Of The Color Theory & Human Emotions".
On the first page is a big red "DISCOUNTINUED" stamp.
Scylia: "What?
Is it an art book?"
Aiden: "No.
It looks like a school textbook about the Color Theory related to human emotions."
Saku’s eyes open.
All the alien eye users in the facility look directly at the genius.
Each of them with their own expressions of surprise, connecting Color Theory with information they know.
Their urgent looks scaring him a bit.
Aiden: "Wh-What?"
Laban DaeMon: "Well, it makes sense that you wouldn’t understand kid. Since you don’t got an Eyelien, neither are you mutually acknowledged by Seiõr on your own, you wouldn’t be able to see it."
Scylia actives her IceEye to it’s 2nd Stage, a happy yellow aura emitting from it as she explains .
Scylia: "These symbiotes release a gas like aura in their 2nd Stage. Up until now, as I understand, humans not mutually acknowledged are only able to see the symbiotes physically changing pattern."
Don Laban: "Most humans with an alien eye in their face, are just the beneficiary to the accepted symbiote protecting it’s host.
Whenever these eyes need extra energy to perform a certain style of Seiõr, it will use the host’s heart basically as a generator.
Depending on what ’fuel’ you put into that generator, decides the residual aura color."
The mutually acknowledged by Seiõr Yin Vessel takes his time as he gets up from the floor.
Aiden: "Well inside this book, there’s a stamp that says it’s been discontinued.
That means the information inside is either wrong and outdated or not valid enough to be legitimately taught in higher learning institutions."
Itsuka looks at Saku as he dusts himself off and Aiden places the apparently still important book in one of the stacks.
Aiden: "Well that is definitely a keeper then."
Saku: "So what is this finale surprise that you want to show me Laban?
Can you make it quick?
I kind of want to get out of this musty basement too."
Laban smiles, knowing Saku is anticipating her gift.
Laban DaeMon: "Why don’t you follow me Sakiii, and I’ll personally show you myself."
Saku rolls his eyes and leaves the wall. Friend and Xaaydagaay instantly follow him, while Itsuka quickly notices she has been left by herself. With a sigh, she too follows
Itsuka: *sighs* "Guess I have to tag along too."
Saku: "You don’t have to."
Itsuka(blushes): "It’s only because I can’t trust that DaeMon to not take advantage of you when I’m not around."
Laban DaeMon: "Relax, you Amazonian child of Iôunn.
Besides, I’ve already proven if I wanted my Saki all to myself, I could do so if I so pleased."
Itsuka gets angry and tags along anyway.
Laban DaeMon: "I’m sure once you use a little bit of your surprise Saki, you won’t be as much of in a gwumpy wumpy mood."
Saku rolls his eyes without a response.
They get to where there is one singular crate with stickers over it reading "WARNING: NOT FOR CHILD CONSUMPTION".
The DaeMon holds up the crowbar for Saku to take and open his special present.
He takes it and easily cracks it open.
There is immediately an "odor" that leaks from the previously air tight sealed crate. Both of Saku’s eyes grow wide remembering the very distinct ’flowery’ smell and in a moment of figurative comedy, without seeing the contents of the crate, a green, holy light shines from inside the wooden box.
Saku: "Is this all...?"
Laban DaeMon: "On that day in the old Initiation Arena, you told me I seemed like a pretty cool chick and you would smoke a blunt with me.
We’ll Saki, should I roll one up for us to share?"
In the middle of the room Daisuki pops his head out from the Abrams tanker like a gopher from a hole in the dirt.
Daisuki: "Well, now that the excitement is over, like every other Christmas it’s time to find places to put all of this new stuff."
Daisuki leaves the tank and hops down. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
His feet hit the floor at the exact moment he is activates his IceEye to it’s 2nd Stage.
Daisuki: "I’m going to Tomodachi Town to find a spot to hide the tank."
Sol: "Why hide it at all?
It’s kind of just a bigger version of open carrying, no?"
Saku smirks hearing the contrarian from his division doing her own magic of debate.
Sol: "Maybe those jerks from those mountains will finally buzz off and leave us all alone once they realize we have an armored military tank, basically designed so that it could shoot their dumb helicopter out of the sky."
Daisuki: "That’s a good theory to have and all Sol. Believe me, I for one am all about self-defense.
But Sol, sweetheart, we have to also be fair to the Sanpaku citizens trying to escape from dangers that require military grade weaponry to counter. It’s not a good look to a lot of people who see an tank or combat vehicle rolling by their home.
It is simply never a good sign for anyone in the area."
Sol peeks over at the section of the floor in the room where all the newly acquired guns were left laid out.
Sol: "First of all...we should probably not leave all those guns out, along with the live ammunition that goes with it.
And second, we now live in a world where we don’t know if another wave of these ice aliens, carrying more of those human anatomy consuming symbiotes is on the way.
OR that dragon alien, alien dragon, whatever, it could possibly be creating a newer, and more vicious of an enemy for humanity to readapt to as we speak."
Daisuki ponders on her argument and sighs.
The mentor for Squad 40/Head Hancho of Sanpaku stares at an empty padded wall and one of his portals begins to open.
Daisuki: "I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again.
I gotta admit sweetheart, you certainly are perfect for Saku’s division."
Saku stops and side eyes his single spot focused, and chuckling mentor.
Saku: "What’s that supposed to mean?"
Sol(blushes): "Wh-what’s that s-supposed to mean?"
Daisuki:*chuckles* Haha, nothing. Nothing.
But you have my word as a man dear Sol, that l will take into serious consideration how we will store and use ’Abby’ here, realizing the valid points that you’ve brought up."
Sol: "Thank you, Mr. Mina"
...
...
Everyone Born Human: "...’ABBY’!?"
Friend & Xaaydagaay: "Aroo?"
