Shattering Humanity
Chapter 259: Necessities, Needs, & Wants
"As for you, my flock, thus says the Lord God: I will judge between one sheep and another, between rams and goats.
Was it not enough for you to graze on the best pasture, that you had to trample the rest of your pastures with your hooves? Or to drink the clearest water, that you had to pollute the rest with your hooves?
Thus my flock had to graze on what your hooves had trampled and drink what your hooves had polluted.
Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now I will judge between the fat and the lean.
Because you push with flank and shoulder, and butt all the weak sheep with your horns until you drive them off,
I will save my flock so they can no longer be plundered; I will judge between one sheep and another." -Ezekiel 17-22(IV Hope For The Future)

[Tomodachi Town]
With SeiõrSnow still falling all around the calm appearing world, from the rooftop of an old, destroyed factory, just within Katsu’s Izanagi Division’s territory, two large individuals both wearing dual wielded SunSwords at the hip, are overlooking the morning sun rising over the horizon of the ocean.
One of them has their HFF hood over their head, with both hands in their pockets and the young man snickers while scanning the beach town.
The confident student’s familiar pal with his HFF sweatshirt on, but hood down, exposing his shaved blonde hair approaches him.
His purple eyes look across the sparkling ocean beneath the orange and red sky.
He takes a deep, loooong inhale to smell the fresh morning ocean air.
Hood Off HFF Student: "Are you sure it was a good idea to split off from Captain Brown, Zeke?
It was your turn to be on night watch, but we ended up leaving him sleeping all alone back there.
I mean, just because we made Top 5 of all Squads doesn’t mean we should be cocky.
We were only #5 overall team after all, that’s barely making the cut."
The student with the name "Zeke" and the Squad number 4 on his back takes off his hood and reveals the antagonizing student from Shelly and Katsu’s academy past.
However, now the young trained fighter’s hair is no longer half shaved but in a red mohawk. One of his human brown eyes, the right, has also been consumed into an IceEye.
Zeke: "The Captain was a professional basketball player before the apocalypse, I’m sure he’ll be fine until we return.
And don’t forget Jeremiah, we also lost that weak squadmate of ours during our first excursion.
Squad 4 made the HFF Top 5 Squads list with one less person.
And besides, you know how much it means to me to get back at that bitch."
He looks down at his hand and closes it into a fist.
Zeke: "Because of her humiliation, I’ve had to use all my teachings in Mixed Martial Arts in ways I hadn’t originally intended.
You still remember what she did to me on the first day of training, don’t you?
In front of everybody."
His appearently more humbled, but still smart ass friend, Jeremiah tries to hide his criticism under his breath.
Jeremiah(under breath): "Yea...you won’t ever let me forget about it either."
Zeke: "What was that?"
His friend Jeremiah playfully waves of his previous comment.
Jeremiah: "Nothin’, bro.
It’s just... You know I’ve kinda been skeptical of those rumors, ever since Captain Brown told us the other night she might be around here."
Zeke’s smirk turns to a frown as his friend continues to disapprove of their actions.
Jeremiah: "Let’s say, even if she is here, I told you almost a day ago, we haven’t encountered a single Iceman since we left on this extended excursion three days ago now.
If their Captain is a Head Terrorist Mastermind, they might have killed all the aliens, secured and are colonizing in this area of the county. We could get picked off and sniped just for stepping foot on their territory."
Zeke: "Are you done?"
The more carefully approaching HFF soldier flips his palms and shrugs in jest with his purple eyes closed.
Jeremiah: "I’m just sayin’.
Abel and Balbira lost both their Captains to her and the boyfriend of hers."
There’s a silence between them and the supportive friend gives out a sigh.
Jeremiah: *sighs* "Don’t worry bro, I gotchu.
In case anyone tries interfering with your rematch, I’ll take care of them for ya."
He gives a reassuring thumbs up and a smile towards his colleague/friend.
Zeke’s smile returns and he looks back out towards the beach town. The revenge fueled fighter pops off his symbiote to it’s 2nd Stage and it has a smokey grey aura emitting from it.
Zeke: "Ight, let’s find and waste this bitch.
Not only will we get the recognition, but also that sweet reward money that comes with it!"
At the top of the 7 story bricked factory, the aspired soldier leaps off and his buddy looks down.
Jeremiah: "Yea, you take the shortcut, I’ll be right down!"
As he walks towards the hole in the building’s ceiling to hop down, he lets out one more smart remark.
Jeremiah: "That eye might seem cool and helpful now Zeke, but what happens when it isn’t."

[Sanpaku Cafeteria 10 A.M.]
Already eating and waiting for the remaining members of Takamagahara to arrive are Jormungand, Drakania, Sol, TayTay, Dom, Charybdis, Scylia, Zoram, Aiden, and Daisuki.
Like always, Taylor gorging on multiple trays of food and breakfast desserts.
Using her eyes with the colors of the sun, Sol watches her "son", smiling while Dom and Char both finish their food.
Daisuki: "Ya know Sol, the wives that help keep the Sanpaku’s kitchen open we’re telling me... We’ve kinda been running low on food for a while..."
Sol looks across the table and stretches across the waxed and polished wood. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
Sol: "Ugh. I knew this was going to come up.
What am I supposed to do though?
I didn’t know where he was getting all his food from."
Meanwhile, down the table Char is slightly frustrated with the inferior Gunner.
Char: "What do you mean you broke it?!"
There’s a busted up and dissembled marksman rifle in pieces on the table.
Dom: "Well, this morning I wanted to clean it, and I thought I could, ya know, surprise everyone with how much I’ve progressed."
Charybdis looks at the pieces and parts in disbelief.
Char: "Dom, I never taught you how to properly take apart and clean a rifle yet.
Have you ever done it before in your life?!"
Dom: "No.
But I thought-"
Char: "Dude, we have limited storage!
Because of this, my rifle is now the only operational long distance weaponry Sanpaku has!"
Dom: "I’m sorry..."
Scylia is sitting next to her disgruntled little brother and puts a hand over his.
Scylia: "Char, relax.
I understand your frustration, but he was trying to impress you.
Try to take that into consideration, at the very least, as his superior."
Steamed Charybdis sits back down and tries to look at the mess in front of him while Dom watches like a child with a finger in his nose.
Scylia looks over to her beautiful tan skinned fiancee Zoram, in her usual stunning attire.
But there is a look of grief as the Middle Eastern Völva looks at her gorgeous hands.
Scylia: "Something the matter, Peanut Butter Cup?"
Zoram doesn’t nod or shake her head, instead her hands become covered in Seiõr, producing a faint healing green glow.
Zoram: "I was just thinking about everything that happened last night, and the moment when I was healing Ms. Shelly.
Thinking back, if I had my SeiõrSilkSleeves, maybe she could have went back and helped the Yang Vessel fight the out of control Yin Vessel."
Scylia and also Aiden listening from the other side of the table get interested by the mention of a new form of the universal energy.
Scylia & Aiden: "...’SeiõrSilkSleeves’?!"
Zoram snaps out of her own focus on the subject and immediately notices their’s.
Zoram: "Ye-Yea.
They were these magnificent and elegant evening gloves made of pearly white silk, complete with satin cuffs.
Whenever I wore them, my healing abilities using Seiõr felt more efficient and effective.
I could heal more serious wounds at an exponentially visibly noticable rate."
Aiden opens up one of his composition notebooks and flips the notes all the way to the back.
A for sure chance at a clean page.
Pen ready to paper, he looks up with ambition in his eyes.
Aiden: "If you don’t mind explaining to me in the most fullest detail possible Misses Zoram, but how did these ’limit maxing magical dress gauntlets’ become as such?"
Zoram chuckles a bit and looks at Scylia. The red haired woman is also fully invested and nods to encourage her to continue.
Zoram: "We-Well, they originally were brought back from the Mindscape of a strong Valkyrie warrior. Given to the honorable mortal woman by the highly respected goddess Freyja."
Drakania, who was mainly paying attention to only her treasured little brother eating, hears the mythological reference and perks up. Turning her attention to the conversation next to her.
Drakania(to herself): "...’Freyja’?"
Zoram: "The woman warrior in question was also said to be part of the inaugural generation of the Valkyrie clan, a few generations before Skalmönd.
At some point, those sleeves were somehow obtained by my Völva guardian, in which I finally obtained them.
But if what Madame Laban says is true, and Roronora City is gone, so are those priceless SeiõrSilkSleeves."
Back on the other side of the table, Aiden is drawing up something and Jormungand peeks over.
Jormy: "Soo, what are you working on over there, Big Brainiac Bro?"
Aiden: "I just got a possible idea I’m going to workshop the more I find out about Seiõr and how much it can actually do from the realms of science."
Jormy sips his apple juice from the box while listening and his sister regains her focus on him and she loses it, rubbing her face against his.
