Shattering Humanity
Chapter 217: "... Without A Clear ’Hard’ or ’Soft’ System Of Rules..."
"For thou hast girded me with strength unto battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. For you equipped me with strength for the battle: you made those who rose against me, sink underneath me." - Psalms 18:39 (selected translation)

{Roronora City, 9:55 PM}
A single Seiõrflake floats down with the rest of the universally natural energy, in the form of an unnaturally occuring snowfall.
The flake of energy lands into the crimson liquid that drowns everything that was a sign of the now absolutely leveled sanctuary. The visible form of Seiõr, stays intact for a moment underneath the liquid, before finally disappearing back into the universe.
A single giant Iceman, standing in the red flood where Roronora City once stood, is holding out it’s right hand, palm upwards.
Katsu is alone, standing on the hard icy hand of the 65ft (~32m) tall ice titan. His 2nd Stage IceEye with it’s respective bright white aura, and a streak of black, is surveying the entire area.
Independently, the Anjell Eye is scanning the remaining group of humongous, destructive aliens in the distance, as well as the flood below to make sure Saku doesn’t pull off a successful sneak attack.
The hectic aliens are a little more than a mile away from the True Bloom Arena in the dead center, of the dead city.
An overpass bridge with a spray painted sign pointing towards an off ramp reading "True Bloom Arena ->" gets torn down from a diamond hard shin, then crushed with an equally durable foot.
Everything between the Yang Vessel and the converging circle of Icemen is a lake of red.
Ripples are appearing nonstop due to the damage vibrations and splashes.
The Vessel for the Communication Eye of Wisdom raises his gaze towards the sky as the deep grey/black nimbostratus clouds congest together.
The storm clouds hide the bright moon above and darken the entire area, making it appear even more hellish and horrifying.
The roars of thunder rumbles above and can’t be seperated from the sounds of fulmination happening on the ground.
Katsu(thinking): *Any moment now...
Just come out you God damn bastard, you can’t avoid us forever...*
Katsu: "Come on, Shelly.
Where are you?"
On queue, his shining star eyes and smile return to his face after seeing an orange dot shooting out from the middle of the unstoppable huddle of giant converging Icemen.
The orange dot is getting closer and soon Shelly’s golden pink SoulSeiõrShield is more apparent than the flaming sword under her feet.
The Ace of Takamagahara finally crosses over the 90% completed lake of watered down blood, to Katsu, and she jumps off Madame Fryer. Her sneakers land on the hand of the Iceman her adopted brother is controlling.
Finally, with a smooth transition, Madame Fryer appropriately returns to her sheath for a rest.
Katsu shakes his head to snap himself out of the admiring stare and back to looking out for Berserk Saku’s distinct black SoulSeiõrShield.
Shelly: "Well, I didn’t see Dumbass anywhere in the middle of those giants.
It is possible that they already passed by him.
If he really doesn’t take any blunt force damage, he could have possibly gotten pushed under the blood and opened a portal to somewhere else, using the bottom of the Iceman’s huge foot as a surface."
Katsu talks without taking his eyes away from the destruction he has secretly caused.
Katsu: "Nah, he’s still close.
Earlier, as soon as I entered the city to find you two, I could tell Saku was going insane. From some sort of weird relationship between our Anjell Eyes, I could tell he was suffering and that he still is.
The presence of his contemporary force is around here, but I don’t know exactly where.
I can look through any IceEye, human host or smaller Icemen, but I can’t look through Saku’s Eye of Wisdom, it’s not a passive enough ability, apparently."
Shelly seems to have something on her mind and her silence makes Katsu notice.
Katsu: "You got something figured out, Shell?"
Shelly takes a moment then looks at the distant circle of Icemen she was just in the middle of.
Shelly: "While I was in searching over there, I didn’t see any smaller Icemen wandering around, but I did see all their bloody tracks..."
Her purpose, perfectly acting ignorant to the actions of the smaller Icemen he actually is in control of, tilts his head in confusion.
Katsu: "...And?"
Shelly: "Well, I-I don’t know why, but it looked like all the smaller Icemen have gone into the old basketball stadium where I had beaten Laban a month go."
Katsu: "The same one she remodeled and named after Saku?
With all those flashy lights?"
Shelly(nods): "I didn’t have much time because I was dodging debris, and because there isn’t anymore power, the lights around the letters are dark, but their footprints seemed to indicate they all went inside the stadium.
From what I was able to observe, none of them went in the opposite direction or exited..."
Katsu puts a knuckle to his chin, pondering the status, then gets an idea, and he closes his eyes. The two toned aura keeps seeping out through his eyelashes and the corners of his left eye.
Katsu: "Yea, you’re absolutely right, Shell.
They are all in there...but from what I just saw from their eyes, they’re all just...standing in one spot.
It’s like a stadium full of Icemanikins."
His beloved adopted gives him a comical dejected look but then giggles from his painfully corny wordplay, allowing him to finish.
Shelly(thinking): *...’Icemanikins’?*
Katsu: "...Even if I could control all these Icemen, there’s no freaking way I would be able to figure out why these monsters did all this destruction.
...
...
But Shelly..."
His adopted sister stops smiling to look at him but to her surprise, Katsu is now grabbing his chest over his heart and both his eyes are dropping their forms of respective tear, matter without looking away from the results of his premeditated actions.
Katsu: "... I have to get stronger. Before these damn bastards do the same thing to Hanabi City, I have to become strong enough to stop anything or anyone with an IceEye, from destroying what we both cherish.
To ensure the safety of all of our memories..."
From her Izanagi Captain’s emotional realization, Shelly gets teared up, but wipes her azules quickly and her fist tightens at her side.
Shelly: "We will get stronger.
Together, Katsu.
I promise, the two of us will be able to stop all these ice alien jackasses if Hanabi City is ever threatened.
Hanabi City, Sanpaku, wherever the two of us go, we’ll prove to everyone, that we are the greatest of all time, Katsu.
Even if those jerks hunting us own it now, we will get our rightful home back... someday."
Katsu wipes his eyes with his forearm, sniffles with a reciprocating nod and smile from her fuse lighting words of encouragement.
Katsu: "Sorry, Shell. I didn’t mean to bring our morale down. I just got really emotional thinking about it."
Shelly: "Don’t worry about it. *giggle*
So, when we do finally spot him, how should we approach him?
It’s ’on-sight’ with Saku as long as his Anjell Eye is controlling his body like that.
I wasn’t able to observe the process of how he created a clone mob in such a short time and I can’t understand how his clones have his aura of SoulSeiõrShields when Big Sis already said the IceEye in the clones are an esthetic."
Katsu: "Hmmm...Maybe there is some type of technique with SoulSeiõr that allows someone to ’share’ their personal energy with another?
Is it possible Saku’s Anjell Eye, without a clear hard or soft system of rules, was able to create clones that shared his SoulSeiõrShield?
Shelly: "What? Something like a ’SharedSoulSeiõrShield’?
Come on Katsu, that’s...just..."
Suddenly, Shelly’s photographic memory kicks in, cutting herself off and the brilliant young woman, who wasn’t there for when Esau explained the concept of a SharedSoulSeiõrShield, remembers how her golden pink soul’s energy coats all her gripped weapons.
She mentally relives the scene of her saving Itsuka from Esau, covering the weakened Big Sis in her golden pink SoulSeiõrShield.
The unmatched, attentive, modern day Valkyrie also remembers how Katsu’s pure white SoulSeiõrShield covered her when he had scooped her up earlier to search for Saku. Besides the butterflies in her stomach from the unprovoked cradling, the shared euphoria she felt from Katsu’s SoulSeiõrShield, made her confidence rise at the time.
While she is lost in thought, Katsu is looking confused, but the Yang’s dark inner self exposes his true strategy.
Katsu(thinking): *That specific wording should work this time.
Because Shelly is so smart, there’s always a chance she gets suspicious if I end up telling her about information on Seiõr that I shouldn’t know.
’Wouldn’t’ know if not for-.*
Cutting him off, both his Anjell Eye moves independently and Shelly’s incredibly keen Valkyrie sense kicks in and from the northwest, a mile behind the demolition Icemen, like an underwater explosion, shooting upwards is sobbing Berserk Saku, covered in blood and his SoulSeiõrShield’s color resembling the color of an endless void.
Saku’s human eye is once again knocked out and closed.
His Berserk Eye of Wisdom is still in control, but to both Shelly and Katsu’s astonishment, the Vessel is floating in the air. The same way Madame Fryer defies the laws of gravity using Seiõr.
