Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!
Chapter 1017: I’m Waiting for You to Come Upstairs
Summer Sutton didn’t understand medicine, and faced with such a situation, aside from researching renowned doctors online and reading medical books, she truly couldn’t think of any other method.
While Watt Bennet was in the shower, Summer Sutton sat outside, her head nearly bursting from overthinking.
Her mind was so preoccupied with this issue that she didn’t even notice when Watt Bennet came out.
Watt Bennet turned his head to look at her, his eyebrows furrowing doubtfully.
Summer Sutton seemed not to notice his gaze, her head hanging low, deeply engrossed in her own thoughts.
She was so focused on her thoughts that even when Watt Bennet deliberately walked around in front of her several times, she didn’t notice.
Recently, except for last night, the two had been sleeping separately.
Watt Bennet deliberately stayed in the room today.
With Summer Sutton’s recent assertiveness, he thought she would take full advantage of tonight to intentionally create a bunch of relationship-enhancing scenarios.
But after showering, Summer Sutton didn’t even look at him. She left with her head down and went to sleep on the sofa.
Sitting on the sofa, she didn’t rush to sleep. She was still thinking about Watt Bennet’s leg injury.
Watt Bennet was thoroughly ignored from the beginning to the end.
Staring at her like this, Watt Bennet’s expression grew even darker.
What was she thinking about so intently?
As he kept guessing, Watt Bennet suddenly went off track.
Could it be because Ryan Walyon suffered such a serious injury for her today that she was troubled?
Aside from this, Watt Bennet really couldn’t guess any other reason.
Yes, it must be because of this!
His face was already unpleasant, and upon thinking this, it immediately turned darker.
In the living room, Summer Sutton was still troubled.
Unable to think it through while sitting, she got up and paced back and forth in the living room.
Her behavior made Watt Bennet somewhat annoyed.
He pushed his wheelchair, slowly approached her, and suddenly pulled Summer Sutton into his arms.
Without explaining, he pushed Summer Sutton onto the bed, his body pressing down on hers, confining her tightly.
Summer Sutton lay stiffly under him, blinking at him without understanding his sudden assertiveness.
There was no hint of romance between them tonight!
Summer Sutton stared at him, slowly beginning to think off track.
Could it be that he finally figured it out?
Not caring about his leg injury and whether doing this would be inconvenient, or how difficult the position might be?
Watt Bennet’s gaze lingered on her face for a while, his eyes sharp like a scanner.
He scanned her face inch by inch, squinting, watching her for a long time, then coldly uttered, "Don’t think about him!"
Him?
Summer Sutton was momentarily puzzled.
"Did you hear me?" Watt Bennet’s palm cupped her small chin, warning viciously, "No matter who you’re thinking of, believe that if you think of one, I’ll destroy one?"
Summer Sutton was dumbfounded for half a second after his words, then awkwardly said, "I’m thinking about you."
Watt Bennet seemed momentarily stunned, his expression changing rapidly several times in just a few seconds.
Like a colorful palette.
He seemed somewhat awkward, tugging at the collar of his clothes, then awkwardly moved away from her, "What are you thinking about me for?"
Summer Sutton’s mind was fully occupied tonight with thoughts on how to make his injuries heal faster; she didn’t directly tell him. She pushed him gently, "Weren’t you planning to sleep in the room? I’m giving it to you; go ahead! Go!"
She seemed rather disdainful of his presence here as if he was a bother.
Her attitude made Watt Bennet’s just-now soothing expression suddenly turn dark again.
