Chapter 327: "Would you love me in another life?"

Qie Xieling lay in bed, his body still warm from the invigorating shower he had just taken. The soft sheets embraced him, and the comforting presence of his fiance wrapped around him like a protective shield. Luo Muchen’s arms encircled Qie Xieling’s waist, pulling him closer, their bodies fitting together perfectly.

As he nuzzled his face into the crook of Qie Xieling’s neck, Qie Xieling could feel his warm breath tickling his skin. The soothing scent of the shower gel mingled with the steam from the shower, creating an intoxicating ambience that enveloped them both.

In the quiet intimacy of the bedroom, Luo Muchen’s voice broke the silence, barely above a whisper. "I will work hard to convince your father that I am worthy of you," he said, his words laced with determination and love.

Qie Xieling’s lips curled into a gentle smile, even in his sleep, as he nestled further into Luo Muchen’s embrace. The weight of his promise, and his unwavering commitment, filled Qie Xieling’s dreams with a sense of security and hope.

The room filled with peaceful tranquillity as the two lovers lay entwined, their connection deepening with every passing second.

As the night settled in, casting a mysterious glow over the private island the crew and their plus ones that had arrived later that evening gathered around a lavish dinner table overlooking the vast expanse of the sea. The air was filled with laughter and excitement, blending harmoniously with the rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore.

The moon, round and bright, illuminated the scene, casting shimmering reflections upon the ocean’s surface. Glasses clinked as drinks flowed freely, each toast punctuated by boisterous cheers and lively conversation. It was a moment of respite after all they had been through. It was a chance for the crew to unwind and celebrate their victories.

Just then, Qie Xieling descended the stairs, his fiance at his side. Luo Muchen had on a possessive grip around Qie Xieling’s waist his gaze appearing smitten. His gaze kept lingering on Qie Xieling like he was afraid that he would disappear in the next moment.

Qie Xieling’s hunger was evident on his face and Luo Muchen playfully coaxed him as they walked alongside each other. As the couple joined them at the table, the aroma of the exquisitely prepared feast filled the air, intensifying their appetites. The crew members, already in high spirits, welcomed Qie Xieling and Luo Muchen with warm smiles and cheerful greetings.

Among them, Bo Ailun was the only one acting out of character. He couldn’t look either of them in the face. The poor baby was traumatised by these two and it was all his fault. He was just too nosy.

Platters of delectable dishes were served, their vibrant colours and enticing aromas creating a feast for the senses. Qie Xieling’s previously sluggish appearance transformed before their eyes. With each bite, his energy surged, fueling his lively and animated demeanour.

While doing his little happy dance, he noticed that something was wrong with Bo Ailun. He knew him like the back of his hand. Bo Ailun never messed with food even when he was upset. He had to be really sick for him not to eat the delicious food in front of them.

Qie Xieling placed a few more pieces of chicken in Bo Ailun’s bowl just like they used to do in middle school and said, "Eat more, don’t be upset anymore."

Bo Ailun, "..."

How could he not be upset when he heard what he heard? Luo Muchen couldn’t let that slide. His jealous self had something to say about it.

"Baby... baby... I am upset too," he said while tapping Qie Xieling’s waist and Qie Xieling chuckled softly at his childishness.

"No, pick some for yourself," he said and Luo Muchen appeared dejected only for Qie Xieling to continue saying, "So I can feed you." After saying that he fed him and Luo Muchen’s eyes were sparkling like he had won the two hundred million lottery.

Bo Ailun almost rolled his eyes. These two were unbelievable. If he only knew what was happening underneath the table he might just lose his mind.

Luo Muchen had his leg over Qie Xieling’s with Qie Xieling’s hand resting on his thigh rubbing it. The amount of pink bubbles floating around them was so intense.

After dinner Qie Xieling decided to take a walk and Luo Muchen followed behind him to keep him company. Behind them, laughter echoed through the night accompanied by the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The two of them held hands as they walked on the beach.

Amidst the enchanting backdrop of the moonlit sea, Qie Xieling and Luo Muchen strolled along the moonlit beach, their fingers interlaced, creating a bond that spoke volumes without the need for words. The gentle lull of the waves and the cool sea breeze caressed their faces, adding to the tranquil ambience of the night. It was a moment frozen in time, where their hearts beat in harmony, creating a symphony of love.

As they found a cosy spot on the sandy shore, Qie Xieling gently guided Luo Muchen to sit beside him. The sand embraced their bodies, forming a soft cushion beneath them. Qie Xieling’s shoulder became a comforting pillow for his lover, who nestled in comfortably, their bodies fitting together like two perfect pieces of a puzzle.

In the hushed serenity, his voice broke the silence, barely above a whisper, "Would you love me in another life?" His eyes shimmered with a mix of vulnerability and hope, searching Luo Muchen’s gaze for an answer. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Luo Muchen’s gaze lingered on Qie Xieling, his eyes filled with a profound tenderness that mirrored the depth of his emotions. Time seemed to stand still as his heart swelled with love.

A soft smile graced his lips, and he replied, his voice carrying a quiet certainty, "I would love you in every single one of them. My heart already belongs to you." His words hung in the air, resonating with a love that surpassed the boundaries of time and space.

At that moment, the universe seemed to conspire in their favour, wrapping them in a cocoon of love and devotion. The beach whispered their names, carrying their unspoken promises on the wings of the wind. And as they sat there, hand in hand, their souls intertwined, Qie Xieling knew that their love would endure, transcending not only this life but countless others to come.
