Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy
Chapter 294: Your dad fought your daddy last night... and this morning
President Yin’s smile froze his tone restrained. "I see a bright future in you. With my support, you can reach new heights in your racing career. As for what I gain, well, having a talented racer associated with my name would only enhance my reputation. It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement."
"I understand but my answer will remain the same. I have enough backers," replied Qie Xieling and President Yin couldn’t contain himself anymore.
"You think your backer will be able to back you up forever? What will you do when he runs out of money?" he asked and Qie Xieling couldn’t take it anymore.
Why were they all acting like racing was the only way to live? He was like a hamster, all he needed was good food and shelter and he would be fine.
"You will regret this," said President Yin turning and walking away, the presidential guard forming a protective shield around him once again. As he entered his car, his mind was already buzzing with plans and strategies to make the both of them regret this. He had offered him twice more than the car he was driving now but Qie Xieling rejected him.
With a cold snort, he recalled that diamond robbed out of Luo Muchen’s hand. He must have kept it some where as insurance otherwise why would he be this cocky? President Yin vowed to find it and prove his nephew wrong. Money was the only language Qie Xieling understood and without it, he wouldn’t stay with him.

"You just rejected the president.... are you fucking kidding me?" whispered Bo Ailun loudly as he followed him to the locker room. "He is the fucking president. He will destroy us at the snap of his finger."
With a bang, Bo Ailun shut the door locking out the others outside. They plastered their ears on the door to hear what they were talking about disregarding their own images.
"We have a sponsor already plus I don’t want to be engaged in politics," said Qie Xieling while taking off his one-piece fire-retardant jumpsuit emblazoned with the logo of every sponsor he has.
"But still. You could have been freaking nice about it. Oh my god, we are dead. We are going to be homeless this time," said Bo Ailun almost breaking down into tears.
Qie Xieling put his cell phone on a shelf while dialling Luo Muchen’s number. Luo Muchen had been dealing with another major crisis but he was still looking forward to Qie Xieling’s call even better, it was a video call.
He answered it only to be met with Bo Ailun’s figure in the background pacing back and forth looking like he was facing death.
Luo Muchen’s brow furrowed when Qie Xieling who was bending down and taking off his pant leg stood up his upper body shirtless. There were vivid traces of what they did last night and this morning. Luo Muchen felt pride like an artist staring at a beautiful canvas he had worked hard on.
"Oh my god, what the hell? What happened to you? You look like you were in a fight or something?!" exclaimed Bo Ailun momentarily forgetting their problems. When he raised his head he was shocked to find tiny bruises all over Qie Xieling’s shoulders, back, neck and chest. He exclaimed out of pure concern.
Qie Xieling chuckled while pulling up his comfortable pants. "You are too young to understand. This is grown folk’s business. Your dad fought your daddy last night... and this morning," he said and Bo Ailun couldn’t catch his meaning for a while. He walked over and reached to poke one of them while asking,
"Does it hurt?"
Seeing the two figures standing so close to each other Luo Muchen’s stomach clenched with a mix of envy and anger. Though there was completely nothing between the two of them a wave of jealousy washed over him. His body language stiffened, his hands gripping the edge of the table, knuckles turning white.
Qie Xieling, oblivious to Luo Muchen’s internal turmoil, smiled warmly and said, "I had a weird guest today. Do you know President Yin?"
Luo Muchen couldn’t focus on what he was saying with that guy touching his man. Qie Xieling finally noticed that Bo Ailun was a distraction so he shooed him away.
"Fine, I will leave but whoever did that is a beast. They should be locked up."
Luo Muchen the beast that should be locked up, "..."
He managed a tight smile, trying to mask his unease. "He is my uncle. I heard he came to offer you a sponsorship deal. Why didn’t you take it?" His voice faltered slightly, betraying his emotional state.
Qie Xieling’s eyes darted to the screen and noticed the tension in Luo Muchen’s face. "Baby, is something wrong? You seem... off."
Luo Muchen hesitated for a moment, then decided to speak his mind. "I feel jealous." 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
Qie Xieling’s eyes widened in surprise, and he quickly asked, "Of what? Of him?" before letting out a soft chuckle. "You know you have nothing to worry about."
Luo Muchen’s heart softened slightly at Qie Xieling’s reassurance, but the lingering insecurity still gnawed at him. "I want to be the only one to see you naked."
Qie Xieling, "..."
"Uh uh, I promise I will kick him out next time. My body is for your eyes only," he said finding Luo Muchen cute when throwing a fit.
"And my fingers only," said Luo Muchen and Qie Xieling hurriedly nodded his head.
"As for my uncle there is nothing good about him. He just asked me to marry someone and he would help me legitimise m_," he said only for Qie Xieling to interject,
"Excuse me? Marry who exactly? You should tell him to go fuck himself. You are my man." His playful smile had been completely wiped off his face and he looked like he was about to fight someone.
"I should have beaten the shit out of his short ass. Tsk... who the hell does he think he is?" he said angrily tossing things around. Luo Muchen had never seen him this riled up like he was going to go after his uncle and really beat him up.
"Baby," he called out the words sweet as they rolled on his tongue. Qie Xieling didn’t hear him. He kept mumbling under his breath quite pissed off.
"Baby," called out Luo Muchen again. This time Qie Xieling looked at him with an icy glare that made Luo Muchen’s heart jolt. "I refused. I only want you."
"Of course you refused. If you didn’t you would be a dead man walking," said Qie Xieling his expression serious.
