Sage of Humanity
Chapter 2035 - 2033: Return to the Island
The first thing to do for the World-Merging is to arrange the beings of the Qingli Dao World. Otherwise, a large number of deaths and injuries are bound to occur during the merger. Not to mention those ordinary people who have never cultivated, even cultivators below the Constellation level cannot withstand the turmoil of the World-Merging.
So not long after Lu Ye discussed with Tang Jun and Wu Zhuo, a group of Constellations set off from the Nine Provinces to go to the Qingli Dao World, carrying a large number of Heaven’s Augury Pillars with them.
In the future, as long as these Heaven’s Augury Pillars are placed in the Qingli Dao World, they can transfer the beings of the entire domain through the pillars.
Once everything is properly arranged, the Heaven’s Augury Pillars will draw from the foundation of the Qingli Dao World, leading to its merging with the Nine Provinces, thereby completing the World-Merging.
In the past, Number Nine could not accomplish such things. The connecting range of Heaven’s Augury Pillars was limited, but as the foundation of the Nine Provinces has continuously strengthened over the years, their capabilities have also grown. Especially since acquiring the Asura Field Treasure, its invisible boost greatly enhances Number Nine’s abilities, creating a perfect synergy.
It is not an exaggeration to say that with the amplification brought by the Asura Field Treasure, Heaven’s Augury Pillars can now cover a range sufficient to encompass more than half of the Jade Conch Galaxy!
The reason Number Nine mentioned the World-Merging to Lu Ye is naturally because it benefits the Nine Provinces.
After the World-Merging, the foundation of the Qingli Dao World would be absorbed by the Nine Provinces, surely aiding in its growth immensely. Regardless of any issues the Qingli Dao World may have, it is ultimately a large domain capable of nurturing Constellation Realm beings.
The Nine Provinces had previously absorbed the foundations of the Blood Refinement World and the Unparalleled Continent, but both were merely low-level domains. Even so, back then, after absorbing the foundation of the Blood Refinement World, the Nine Provinces leaped into a large domain.
Who knows what changes will occur once the Nine Provinces absorbs the foundation of the Qingli Dao World in the future.
Lu Ye entrusted Wu Zhuo with this matter, as it was impossible for him to remain long-term in the home galaxy, and Tang Jun was the same, leaving Wu Zhuo as the only suitable candidate.
As for the Qingli Dao World, with the agreement of the only two Moon Jades there, the entire domain’s future fate was already sealed.
Unsurprisingly, when this news spread, the Constellations in the Qingli Dao World, despite their attachment to their ancestral land, felt more anticipation.
During their short time in the Nine Provinces, they had witnessed many novelties. Not to mention anything else, just the Asura Field was enough to keep them occupied.
With the tone set by Lu Ye for the World-Merging, he left the rest to be handled by Wu Zhuo, with Number Nine secretly assisting.
Lu Ye, on the other hand, assembled a group and, piloting two Moon Jade-class Central Hub battleships, headed to the location of the Insect Path.
Now that the Insect Path connects both sides, travel between the home galaxy and the All Phenomena Ocean is convenient, but there’s still a need to guard against potential threats sneaking into the galaxy, so it’s necessary to station people at both ends of the Insect Path.
This is a deployment that every galaxy adheres to.
The Insect Path is currently unstable; even someone like Su Yiming, at the Moon Jade level, faces risks passing through, so there’s little to worry about for now. Nevertheless, when it stabilizes in the future, arrangements need to be made in advance.
There aren’t many Sun Blazes in the home galaxy, but there are plenty of Moon Jades, mainly from the Jade Conch World, so rotating a portion of them to guard the path is feasible.
A few days later, the two battleships reached the Insect Path’s entrance. Lu Ye left one battleship to guard this end while he piloted the other through the Insect Path, using the core of the Void Beast to pave the way for a peaceful journey.
Not long after, the battleship appeared in the All Phenomena Galaxy.
"Is this the All Phenomena Galaxy?" Han Dong spoke from the battleship’s deck, looking around and soon caught sight of a distant magnificent scene.
From this position, the spectacle seemed like a small drop of water, radiating colorful lights, shining brightly. But Han Dong knew that the smallness was merely due to the distance; if he were to approach it, it would undoubtedly be a colossal entity.
Alongside Han Dong on this trip were two other Jade Conch Moon Jades who had ascended on the Three Worlds Island, along with a few Constellations. They would be responsible for guarding this place, as the first Jade Conch cultivators to watch over the Insect Path.
"That’s the All Phenomena Ocean," Lu Ye said, standing beside him. "If you’re interested, Fellow Daoist, you can go and take a look."
Han Dong was clearly tempted. For years he had heard about the famous All Phenomena Ocean but never had the opportunity to see it. Now that he had finally seen it, of course, he wanted to explore.
But he shook his head and said, "Next time. There will be opportunities when I’m off duty."
Now that he was in the All Phenomena Galaxy, there would surely be opportunities later, so there was no rush.
"Very well," Lu Ye agreed without pressing him further. "The responsibility here is yours, then."
Han Dong replied solemnly, "It’s my duty, and I will not slack off."
Lu Ye then looked at the others and said, "Return to the island with me."
This visit was not solely to place this Moon Jade-class battleship but also to bring some people back to the Three Worlds Island. Among those traveling back with him were Tang Jun, the foreign affairs manager, all the cultivators of the Merfolk Race, and some Moon Jades.
Very few Constellations were returning. The ones who had returned with him to the Jade Conch were now either in closed-door cultivation or exploring the Asura Field in the Nine Provinces, honing themselves.
Altogether, fewer than five hundred people returned.
Lu Ye and Yann Miao urged their mana, enveloping everyone, and flew towards the direction of the All Phenomena Ocean.
Luan Xiao’e didn’t return; she had left the Jade Conch for many years, and finally having returned once, she naturally wanted to visit her hometown. It was like returning in glory, and she would return on her own after a while.
A day later, everyone returned to the Three Worlds Island.
Sensing the commotion, the cultivators on duty came out in greeting, led by Hua Ci.
These cultivators were all from the three major domains of the Jade Conch. Previously, they also wanted to go back with Lu Ye to fight the enemy, but someone had to stay behind on the Three Worlds Island after all...
These days, they had been on edge, anxious and uneasy, not knowing what the fate of the home galaxy would be.
Now, at first glance, they saw only so few return out of the over two thousand people who left. Their faces changed drastically, especially Hua Ci, whose expression was grave, her red lips slightly pursed.
Seeing their expressions, Lu Ye knew they misunderstood, and he smiled slightly, saying, "Don’t worry, this time our home galaxy achieved a great victory; Zixuan’s Ten Great Demon Venerables and ten thousand demon cultivators were all wiped out."
The many Three Worlds cultivators were first stunned, and then greatly shocked, asking all sorts of questions about the course of the battle.
Each had familiar cultivators, and soon gathered in small groups, and the full picture of the previous battle gradually unfolded before the cultivators who stayed behind.
When they learned that Lu Ye had invited many from the Dwarf Race and Soul Race Sun Blaze, everyone could not hide their amazement. They didn’t know Lu Ye had such connections, being able to summon so many helpers at once.
Each one sighed inwardly, feeling that Zixuan’s Demon Venerables died in vain, because even they didn’t know the Jade Conch could muster such a strong lineup. Zixuan must have thought they were grasping an easy target, not expecting to kick an iron plate.
On the other side, Yiyi was nestling into Hua Ci’s arms, squirming around.
Originally, Yiyi had planned to return to the Soul Race’s ancestral land... She was naturally reluctant to part from Lu Ye, but after the last battle, she was finally able to help Lu Ye a bit with the Soul Possession Technique, and suddenly had a taste for it, thinking of returning home to continue improving her cultivation.
A short separation is for a longer reunion, Yiyi understood this truth.
Lu Ye only asked her, "Do you miss Sister Hua Ci?" Then Yiyi gave up the idea of returning to the Soul Race’s ancestral land, and came with him to the All Phenomena Ocean. She had a good relationship with Hua Ci, and naturally missed her after so many years.
Now with Yiyi clinging to Hua Ci, Lu Ye felt a sense of security!
He could feel that this woman still remembered what happened before and wanted to find trouble for him whenever possible.
"Has anything happened recently?" Lu Ye asked.
Hua Ci, while stroking Yiyi’s small head, gave him a sly smile: "Not much, just many people inquiring about why you left and where you went."
Now, with Three Worlds Island being the ruler of the All Phenomena Ocean, such a big movement from the Three Worlds Island couldn’t be hidden from the interested parties; but as long as the island’s side didn’t leak any information, others wouldn’t find out much.
Lu Ye nodded slightly, and with concern, asked, "Is anyone trying to harm you?"
Little Fella had swallowed the Three Treasure Wishing Coins, causing various unexplainable changes, and now it was a living supreme treasure of the stellar space, and its true owner was Hua Ci. This fact was likely not a secret anymore.
There’s always a chance someone would want to take advantage of the weakened strength of the Three Worlds Island and make a move against Hua Ci.
"I’ve been hiding all this time." Hua Ci chuckled, "Moreover, Little Fella has been concealed in the All Phenomena Ocean, but any Sun Blaze daring to approach the Three Worlds Island would be locked onto by its Mental Consciousness."
"That’s good." Lu Ye breathed a sigh of relief. Being locked onto by a stellar space supreme treasure’s Mental Consciousness is no small matter for any Sun Blaze, so after experiencing such incidents a few times, no Sun Blaze dared to approach the area around the Three Worlds Island again.
"Oh, by the way, Jiu Yan sent a message, asking you to go meet her on the All Phenomena Island when you return. It seems she has something to discuss with you." Hua Ci spoke as she handed over a stack of items: "These are for you as well."
"What is this?" Lu Ye took them in surprise.
"Visit notes." Hua Ci casually explained, "They’re all from various top-class Spirit Islands."
Lu Ye took a quick look and found they were indeed visit notes, and quite a few of them. If he counted them up, every top-class Spirit Island on the All Phenomena Ocean had sent one.
Previously, he had changed the rules of the All Phenomena Ocean, allowing Sun Blaze to reside on top-class Spirit Islands and now those islands should have all made arrangements. The Sun Blaze from various domains coming to the All Phenomena Ocean naturally wanted to pay their respects to the local ruler.
These visit notes are a form of etiquette and also a testament to the prestige established from the previous battle. Without that battle, who would give the Three Worlds Island a second glance?
Lu Ye understood that the secret behind these visit notes was still Little Fella. A single Three Worlds Island wasn’t prestigious enough to make those top-class Spirit Islands treat them so cautiously.
Lu Ye didn’t have much of a rapport with the various top-class Spirit Islands, except for Five Colors Island, and he didn’t bother with these visit notes, casually tossing them aside.
"You guys chat, I’ll go see Senior Ma Bin first." Lu Ye left a message, heading towards the Spirit Jade Vein.
