Revenge Begins: Reincarnated as a Hated Idol!

Lisa clenched her fists, closing her eyes tightly in anticipation as she muttered:

"Let’s date..."

Aren’s eyes snapped wide open in shock.

’What is she talking about?!’

He screamed in his heart, lowering his head to look at the woman in his arms. She had her eyes closed, fists clenched, and face buried into his chest, barring him from looking at her expression. He could only see the top of her head, her long, dark brown hair, loosely falling on the white sheets of the bed.

Other than that, he could feel her warmth against him, her breathing brushing against his chest, the thumping of her beating heart resounding in the silence of the room even though it was faint.

Knowing he couldn’t have a conversation in this position, he first let go of her before sitting upright on the bed.

Lisa kept her eyes closed despite knowing that soon, she would have to face Aren and confess her feelings to him. She couldn’t keep running forever, waiting for him to realize them and make the first move. She needed to take the frontal approach and confront him.

Since Aren had helped her so much, she had a good feeling about the outcome. A woman’s intuition was a powerful thing, and hers told her that Aren felt something for her. Atleast she knew that he desired her as well, even though it was only physical. To know his real thoughts, she had to ask him herself.

"Get up and tell me... what do you mean?" Aren sighed, staring at Lisa’s tightly shut eyes.

Lisa was lying on the bed sideways, her hands joined in front of her, fingers interlocked close to her chest.

Knowing that she couldn’t delay the inevitable, she slowly opened her eyes and sat up. However, as soon as her large, hazel brown eyes met Aren’s chestnut brown eyes, her cheeks turned red as she lowered her gaze shyly.

Then, in a low and soft voice, she said:

"L-let’s date..."

The shyness in her voice almost made Aren lose his resolve. She was too tempting, and although he couldn’t see her face due to her lowered head, he could guess from her voice that she was blushing and that this was not easy for her. Her small, curled fists—pressed against the sheets—confirmed his guess even further.

Aren, however, didn’t want to ruin this innocent girl’s life. He knew that in his quest for revenge, he would need to make use of his charm to inflict the same pain on Neil that he himself had suffered at his hands. He couldn’t afford to be in an official relationship—that would make things complicated and difficult for him.

So, he wasn’t going to make any empty promises to Lisa.

He looked at her, knowing she was anticipating his response, and after a few moments of silence, stated:

"I’m not going to come into a relationship. It... conflicts with my future plans."

Lisa’s eyes fell in disappointment; however, she didn’t lose hope. She had expected this response as well. After all, Aren was just at the start of his career. Getting into a relationship could reduce his allure to the female fans. Thus, she had the response ready.

"I’m not asking for an official relationship," Lisa said, raising her head, her tone persuasive. "Let’s date in secret. We can make our relationship public in the future if we wished to."

Her voice was soft, her eyes gleaming with expectations. A secret relationship wasn’t something new, and many celebrities were involved in one. There were already rumors of them dating, so it wouldn’t even be a problem if they dated in private.

While she implored to him, he was controlling himself.

To Aren, she looked too alluring.

She was wearing a thin, white cropped tank top with thin spaghetti straps that clung to her full, generous breasts, the low-cut neckline plunged daringly to reveal an enticing amount of soft cleavage. The short hem of the top rode up slightly, exposing the smooth, toned expanse of her midriff and a hint of her narrow waist.

Paired with the top were tiny black athletic shorts that hugged the generous curves of her hips and thighs. The soft fabric rode high and accentuated the long, shapely length of her legs. The elastic waistband sat low on her hips, teasing the eye with the subtle dip of her hip bones.

Only he knew how difficult it was to refuse her as he shook his head:

"I cannot give you what you seek," he said, his gaze sincere. "I’ll be involved with multiple women in the future to reach my goals, and... I cannot give myself solely to you."

As soon as Lisa heard this, her heart fell. Was this rejection? Was this an excuse to send her away? She didn’t know. She couldn’t understand what he meant by those words. Just what was his goal, which required him to be with multiple women? Was he planning to seduce rich and powerful women to rise in status and career?

But no matter how much she thought about it, Aren wasn’t someone like that.

But maybe... he had received Ember’s help in that manner as well. After all, Ember had suddenly agreed to air the news and support Aren after a single meeting. What could Aren have offered her to make her agree to oppose Titan Crest Entertainment?

Her eyes widened as she realized this.

’Did Aren seduce Miss Ember? Do they have that kind of relationship? Have they already done it?’

She was stunned, and her mind was in turmoil.

She couldn’t help but compare herself to Ember after that, and suddenly, she felt too inferior.

Ember Sunburn wasn’t just a beautiful woman; she was someone untouchable. In terms of background, power, money, and beauty, she was superior to Lisa, and that struck Lisa even more bitterly.

’No wonder he doesn’t want me. He already has Miss Ember.’

A bitter smile spread across her lips.

But then, her eyes widened as a bright light flashed across her brain.

’Wait! Has he informed Miss Ember of the same thing? Does she not have a problem with him having relations with multiple women?...’

She couldn’t help but be perplexed. Of course Ember was an open-minded and forward woman, but still Lisa couldn’t accept that she would’ve agreed to it. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

And at that moment, another realization struck her like lightning.
