The results were quite good. Several kids were sitting at a small table outside and started eating. As a result, some people who came to buy bread with their children saw them eating and their kids pulled their parents, insisting on eating the same thing. The adults thought it was for sale and asked how much for one.

Little Star saw there were only two left and blurted out a price, which was higher than usual, but the customer actually took them without hesitation.

No one in the store thought much of it, but the next day, that customer came back to buy more. They had to say it was sold out. On the third day, the customer returned again, saying it was delicious and they wanted to pack two more because their child was now clamoring to eat it every day.

Only then did Shuhua take it seriously and immediately promised to reserve some for them the next day.

After the customer left, Shuhua followed Little Star’s method and baked over a dozen. They sold out within a morning after being displayed. In the afternoon, they baked a few more, which had to be reserved for that customer.

By the next day, people were coming specifically for it, and they sold over twenty in a day. Shuhua figured these could sell well but decided they couldn’t be called pizza since they were topped with local ingredients. Shuhua named it "Bread Pie."

This new product was thus launched, and needless to say, it sold well even in the summer. Once it gets a little colder, it might sell even better.

The excellent sales of this new product were all thanks to Little Star’s accidental success.

Whenever they visited S City, they would return with more bags than when they left, filled with gifts from relatives and friends from there.

The most common items were clothes, of which they had plenty.

The two children’s closets were packed full.

After the children came back, Lin Wan and Han Yi could no longer relax. In the hot weather, apart from occasionally visiting the factory, Lin Wan stayed home, making various delicious foods for Dingding.

Now, every day Little Star goes out sketching with Hanhan nearby. When it’s too hot, Lin Wan doesn’t let them go out, saying drawing at home is the same. Lin Wan took on several projects and had been busy with design work these past few days. Wang Leqin was participating in a gown competition and dragged Lin Wan to her studio to help give feedback.

For the two months after school started, Lin Wan was busy almost every day.

Meanwhile, Saozi’s hot spring hotel missed the summer season and opened in October, just in time for winter. Saozi had spent over a month training her staff during the summer. In those half-months, many people came to sign up for cards, at least forty to fifty. A card had a minimum price of five hundred yuan. Many big bosses who charged one or two thousand often needed places like this to treat clients, making it convenient. Many people bought individual tickets, taking advantage of the cheaper price to buy more as future gifts.

Shortly after the opening, it coincided with the National Holiday, bringing a particularly large crowd eager to experience the place.

Overall, having such success right after opening was commendable, considering the economic disparity, where most consumers were affluent.

Given the significant investment and time, quick gains are unlikely. Perhaps things will improve around the New Year.

However, things on her brother’s side were improving, with business getting better in the last half year.

Once Lin Wan finished her work, she took a few days to relax, tidying up the children’s rooms and cooking some of their favorite foods. This year, they planned to return to S City for the New Year.

This year, You Pei and Lijuan would return as well, as would Xiao Dong. Their mother-in-law mentioned they hadn’t taken a family photo yet and wanted one. Han Yi agreed, saying they would go back there for the New Year.

Lin Wan also wanted to check on the factory there. Recently, Su Ling mentioned wanting to go public, something she wasn’t familiar with and wanted her input for some group discussions.
