Lian Yeye came rushing with news, saying that Old Master Lian had been carried back.

"Yeye, what happened?" Lian Manman asked Lian Yeye.

"Sister Manman, didn’t I go home to feed the pigs," Lian Yeye glanced at Lady He on the kang, and said.

"Second aunt, didn’t you hear what Yeye said? Why aren’t you moving?" Lian Manman asked Lady He again, upon hearing from Lian Yeye that Old Master Lian was in trouble, Lady He was still sitting on the kang without any intention of leaving.

"I..." Lady He pondered for a moment and then slowly got off the kang to put on her shoes, "Then let’s all go together."

"You go back first." Lian Manman told Lady He, "Aren’t you afraid of my grandmother scolding you? No one’s working at home, and you’re out wandering."

"I’m not wandering." Lady He mumbled, "The old lady doesn’t have the time to scold me now."

"Fourth aunt, you all will go back to see the old master, right?" Lady He asked Lady Zhang as she put on her shoes.

Old Master Lian went out upright and was carried back horizontally. Regardless, they must go and have a look.

Old Master Lian had been carried back on a door panel, and Lian Yeye was sent to deliver the message. How could they not go and see?

The group came out of the Pickled Vegetable Workshop and sent someone to call Lian Shouxin and Wu Lang over. As soon as Lian Shouxin heard from Lian Yeye that Old Master Lian had been beaten by the Woo Family Brothers, his face immediately changed.

"Dad, keep calm." Lian Manman whispered, "That’s a word from my second uncle, take it with a grain of salt. Let’s not jump to conclusions, let’s go to the old house, ask properly, and figure it out first."
