From afar, Little Reunion saw Jiang Xue holding a wine glass, standing on the balcony lost in thought, and babbled out loud.

Hearing her son’s voice, Jiang Xue snapped back to reality and looked downstairs. Upon seeing Little Reunion waving at her, a smile spread across her face, and she downed the wine in her glass before leaving the balcony.

"It’s nothing!" Jiang Xue smiled and shook her head. But Mrs. Jiang didn’t believe her at all, instead saying, "I just saw you drinking; did something happen?"

"Mom, it’s nothing, I just missed you all."

Mrs. Jiang looked at Jiang Xue, half amused, half exasperated, and glared at her, saying, "You’re grown up now, we’ve only been out briefly, and you miss us. If we travel far, won’t you miss us every day?"

"Of course, missing you every day isn’t enough, I must think about you all the time." Jiang Xue replied with a laugh, making Father Jiang chuckle, "You’re such a tease; you might forget us one day."

"How could I possibly do that? Dad, your words hurt my feelings." Jiang Xue pretended to look hurt, amusing her parents once again.

Amidst the joking and laughter, time passed quickly, and soon it was dinner time. After dinner, Jiang Xue took Little Reunion upstairs. She first gave him a bath before taking him into the space.

Now that her exams were over, she could relax for a few days. It was the perfect time to focus on cultivation and strive to quickly break through to Level 10.

With her actions, her body warmed up considerably, but the Spiritual Power within her was quickly depleting. This compelled Jiang Xue to hasten her cultivation to ensure she had enough Spiritual Power to resist the cold.

After a short while, Jiang Xue’s body started to feel a strange sensation.
