Lily Turner’s question immediately painted a faint sadness across Alice Turner’s face. She turned to glance at the seat beside her, where a couple was sitting, whispering sweet nothings to each other, oblivious to everything around them.

She retracted her gaze and looked at herself, sitting all alone.

"The boarding is about to begin, so I’ll stop chatting with you now. Take care of yourself, and we’ll talk when I get back." Alice Turner said all in one breath, not waiting for Lily on the other end of the line to respond, and then hurriedly hung up the phone.

After hanging up, Alice exhaled a long breath, but before she could properly relax, two long legs appeared in front of her.

Following the legs upwards with her eyes, when she saw who was standing before her, a hint of disappointment flashed in her eyes.

"Why do you have that expression upon seeing me? Am I not as handsome as the third brother?" The person who had quietly appeared in front of Alice was Thomas Fisher. He was expecting to surprise Alice, but her reaction left him disappointed, ruining his mood as he sat down next to her.

Alice looked over at the man who had sat down next to her, her beautiful face full of puzzlement, "What are you doing here?"

This man shouldn’t be here to send her off for that man, right? That man wouldn’t be so considerate; he never cared about her matters.

Thomas Fisher was going to J City to discuss cooperation with a business friend. He didn’t expect to run into Alice Turner at the airport. Earlier, he thought he might have mistaken her for someone else, but upon getting closer, it was indeed her sitting there.

The moment he saw her, he felt inexplicably excited.

Because of Benjamin Shaw, Alice Turner didn’t want to accompany the man sitting beside her, but being well-mannered, she did not outright refuse, nor did she agree enthusiastically. She merely offered a polite smile.

"Three..."

The phone in Alice Turner’s hand suddenly rang, abruptly interrupting Thomas Fisher.

"Excuse me, I have to take this call."

The call was from Sophia Wood, undoubtedly regarding Lily Turner’s pregnancy. Alice Turner didn’t want Thomas Fisher to overhear, so she took the phone and walked aside to answer it.
