As Sophie Snow was just observing, Christopher Turner was also discreetly observing her. While she was guessing his identity, he was also guessing hers.

She thought he was Benjamin Shaw’s father, while he thought she was the woman Benjamin cherished. Both had their own speculations in mind.

"Hello."

The other party greeted first. As an elder, he couldn’t drop the ball.

When Christopher Turner greeted, he was already standing up. He didn’t want to be a third wheel here, "Benjamin! I’ll be going first, you two stay."

Without waiting for a response, he very considerately headed toward the door of the hospital room.

"I’ll see you out!"

Benjamin Shaw was about to get out of bed to see Christopher Turner off, but before he could get off the bed, Sophie Snow was already a step ahead to see him out, "Don’t move around, I’ll go send him off."

As Sophie Snow followed Christopher Turner to see him off, she didn’t forget to wave at Benjamin Shaw, signaling the injured man not to get off the bed.

"Neither of you needs to see me off, I can go by myself." Hearing the two behind vying to see him off, Christopher Turner quickly stopped them, but he didn’t turn to look at the two in the room. He simply waved with his back to them, then strode out of the ward.

Bam!

Seeing the ward door already closed, Sophie Snow didn’t follow further, turning back to the bedside, feeling more at ease than before, "Benjamin! You’re eating?"

As she spoke, she had already proactively picked up the half bowl of porridge on the cabinet.

"Who told you I was here?" Benjamin Shaw shifted to the other side of the bed to avoid Sophie Snow who was preparing to feed him porridge, his dark eyes staring unblinkingly at her as she sat by the bed.

Sophie Snow seemed to not hear, holding the half bowl of porridge as she moved to the inner side of the bed. She stirred it with a spoon, not seeing any steam, "This porridge seems cold. I’ll get you a fresh bowl."

As she spoke, she was about to get off the bed to dump the porridge.

"I want to drink that porridge." Benjamin Shaw glanced at the porridge Sophie Snow was holding, then looked at her again, "How did you know I was here?" 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Looking at her, he pressed again.

Sophie Snow wanted to pretend she didn’t hear again, but this time Benjamin Shaw didn’t give her a chance to pretend. He reached out and took away the porridge she was holding, then placed it back on the cabinet, "If you don’t want to say, you can leave. I don’t need caretakers here."

Her appearance here was definitely not a coincidence. He figured someone had specifically told her.

"It was Alice Turner who told me." Sophie Snow originally didn’t want to say, but she didn’t want to be chased away by Benjamin Shaw either, so she had to tell the truth.

The answer surprised and angered Benjamin Shaw, "Do you frequently contact her?"

His expression was poor, and his tone even worse.

"Not frequently, we’ve only contacted twice." Sophie Snow was eager to clarify, not realizing the focus of Benjamin Shaw’s previous words. She only heard the words ’frequently’, while his emphasis was on her taking the initiative to contact Alice Turner.

Benjamin Shaw frowned, his expression turning worse than before, "Contacted twice? Other than today, when else did you contact?"

He was just courteously asking when he mentioned ’frequently’, he didn’t actually think that. Her answer left him surprised, confused, and even a bit worried.

Two women contacting each other surely had a reason, undoubtedly related to him.
