Chapter 1603: Four vs One (2)

Kent was taken aback by how insidious Yggzrael played his spell.

He silently cast the spell ahead of time and waited for him to fall into the opening he had prepared for him. Kent sensed that, but he still walked in thinking he could overpower him.

Unbeknownst to Kent, while defeating Yggzrael would be easy, now that he is faced against four demigods, Yggzrael grew confident in his abilities to make Kent feel his power.

Also, he wants to prove himself to his new master, which, judging by the angle he had Kent, he had proven all he needed to prove.

But that doesn’t mean he won.

Just when the root tendrils latched onto Kent’s leg, the scales on his armor reformed and turned into razor-sharp blades, cutting through them at once.

His leg was freed, but Yggzrael had long retreated, making way for Baelgor.

"Mammoths Bang,"

His hammer crackled with lightning as it came down hard, falling toward Kent.

Kent raised his left hand to block the hammer, the force behind the stack forcing his legs to buckle, the ground cracking and spiderwebbing everywhere.

’Damn, what a monstrous strength,’

Kent recognized Baelgor’s strength and knew he could not mess around, else he would lose. Pushing the hammer back, his right hand moved, and his claws took a swing at Baelgor’s chest.

He moved back, trying to evade. However, three claw arcs flashed out, landing on his chest. Three cuts appeared, drawing blood as his Baelgor was lunched back, landing several meters on the frigid surface of the icy battlefield.

Kent turns into a blur and appears beside Kryzoth, hoping to test his strength as well. However, he was forced to push back when a crow flew past his side.

Under normal circumstances, he should have ignored that; however, just when the crow flew past him, Morveth appeared, or more like the deadly blades of his scythe appeared before him.

"Frozen Claw" Ice coated Kent’s claws as he grabbed hold of the scythe that was mere inches from his face. The sound of metal scraping against metal spread out.

He was forced back, but Kent smiled and stomped on the ground, forcing out three deadly Ice spears that shot out and landed on Morveth’s chest.

He was sent crashing into a boulder 3km away.

Kent pressed his advantage.

He stomps on the ground again, this time summoning a blizzard. He may not have formed an ice core yet, but he has more than enough ice Qi to power his techniques.

Suddenly, the entire battlefield was filled with a blizzard, forcing Baelgor and Yggzrael to move back.

"Blood Ascension Ice Strike,"

While the two demigods moved back, Kryzoth advanced, and before Kent could find the next target and test more of his skills on them, a terrifying red arc made of ice flashed out, locking onto Kent in an instant.

’Damn...’

Kent felt his back break into a cold sweat as the arc arrived before him. However, rather than panicking, he smiled and tapped into his [Dragon Intent] and channeled some of his Chaos Qi.

Then, like he was courting death, he extended his right hand and caught the red arc, causing shockwaves to spread far and wide.

"WHAT..."

Kryzoth stood frozen, his expression filled with shock.

Even Baelgor, who had turned his head into that of a mammoth, temporarily took on his humanoid face to show his shocked expression.

They all felt the deadly nature of the red arc, so when Kent caught it, they became shocked. However, instead of taking a step back. Kent held the arc for a few seconds before clenching his fist, shattering it into pieces.

"Is that all you got?" Kent taunted Kryzoth, causing the demigod, who was stunned and frozen, to snap back to his senses.

He moved a step back and was about to attack again when the sky crackled with lightning, "Allow me,"

Baelgor came down, his hammer raised for a deadly attack. Looking closely, one could tell the hammerhead had transformed, taking on the look of a tusk.

Kent narrowed his eyes at this and instantly sensed danger.

Reaching into his first Blood gate, he channeled Blood qi and Chaos Qi, causing his claws to gleam wth power. But he didn’t stop there; he also maintained his Dragon Intent and tapped a little bit into his Evil Qi.

Just then, the attack arrived...

"Heavenbreaker Tusks"

Kent raised his right hand, meeting the hammer in a powerful collision of metals.

*BOOOM*

Kent was pushed back, the ground beneath his feet caving in. His hands trembled, numb pain spreading up his shoulder and finally traveling through his body.

Kent stood there a moment before he spat a mouthful of blood.

"That was heavy, Baelgor." Kent smiled and clenched his fist, "But can you handle a fist of mine?"

Kent moves, and Baelgor’s armor transforms, covering his body in bonelike armor. At once, his defense tripled. However, when Kent’s fist connected with his chest, his body shot back, flying several km back.

Yggzrael and the other two demigods pale, seeing Baelgor, the one with the most robust defense, sent flying away like a ragdoll.

However, they didn’t back down, not when they are still not defeated. Kent jumps back, evading a deadly scythe, only for a spear to land on his back, sending him flying toward a sword arc.

Kent flicks his hand and summons a chaos scale shield to block the attack. However, before he could celebrate, a blur appeared on his side.

’Fast...’

He narrowed his eyes, activating all his flame veins. At once, he felt the world slow down, and that was when he saw Morveth coming from his left.

If he had been a second too late to use the flame veins, he would have found himself at the mercy of a deadly scythe.

However, just before Morveth could attack, Kent teleported and appeared before him, grabbing the scythe with one hand and the other landing a punch on Morveth’s chest.

He, too, was sent flying back, perhaps a bit further back than Kent had expected. However, realizing he wouldn’t die even if he wanted to, he turned just in time to evade a root tendril from Yggzrael.

"Frozen Moon Fang,"

Another sword attack came from Kryzoth. But Kent used the [Chaos Scale Shield] to block it. This gave him a wide opening to attack Yggzrael, who wanted to first trap Kent before attacking.

While the battle isn’t being fought at their full strength, considering they aren’t in their Beast forms or even using their domains, every attack unleashed carries great power.

Kent could feel the power behind their attacks.

None of them uses Divine Qi in their attacks, but that alone is enough to kill even Immortal Lords in a single attack.

In fact, Kryzoth’s sword attacks are strong enough to kill an immortal Lord at full strength.

So he wasn’t about to be arrogant and think he had everything under control.

Evading the root tendrils, Kent made his move.

Kent closes in on Yggzrael and grabs him by the shoulder.

"Nice try, buddy," he yanked him forward, but before he could attack, the temperature in the surroundings suddenly dropped, and Kent felt his body slow down.

Turning back, he saw an Ice Yeti suddenly appear out of nowhere, a large pillar made from a metallic substance falling down on him.

For a moment, Kent’s expression turned pale, his spine tingling as a terrible pressure crashed down on him.

However, he snapped out of it and made his move.

He pushes Yggzrael out of the way and summons the Chaos Scales, forming them in a pentagon-shaped shield. They shield his body just in time for the metallic pillar to fall down on him.

*BOOM"

Kent was swallowed by an ice mist, the shockwave pushing Yggzrael and the other demigods back.
