Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 1566: Princess Pandora
Kent isn’t someone who does this for no reason.
He saw the task ahead of him and knew there was just no way he could handle it. In fact, he saw that, to be able to face them, he must cheat, and that cheating may come from three things: the Ruthless Bandit’s memories, Spirit Painting, and Chaos Qi.
He needs Lex’s memories to be able to think of all the dubious ways to kill. He is going against demigods, so aside from his strength, he needs every evil idea he can come up with.
Thanks to Kevin Sage, his thinking abilities are on another level. However, that doesn’t mean he is evil mentally. That mentality would come from the Ruthless Bandit. So he would have to read the memory diary and know what happens next.
Then there is the Spirit Painting. He knew that to win, he needed help far beyond what he could provide right now. Inasmuch as he is now an absolute being, he alone cannot win, not even with the 3,500 Immortal Lords he knew would be his to command.
So he needs external help, and as it happens, he had witnessed more than enough to paint some powerful things. However, to be able to paint that, he needs both the mind, soul, body, and Chaos Qi. In fact, he needs Chaos Qi more if he wants to succeed in painting something out of this world.
So he needs to replenish his Chaos Essence, and so he must go to the Tormented Chaos Abyss.
If he manages to absorb some Chaos Essence, then perhaps he would be able to handle them easily and challenge the guardian at the portal that would be taking him to Elina’s galaxy.
"So you really think you can make it there and back alive?" one of the elders asked, all of them feeling worried.
Kent, however, smiled and nodded. "I am a Chaos Beast, Senior. The fact that I am here now and even learning of this place is destiny, I suppose."
In a way, he seems to make some sense. Chaos Energy is highly harmful, so he cannot absorb it from the air like Spiritual Qi.
While he can convert Spiritual Qi or even Blood Qi into Chaos Qi, the conversion rate is very high, so he knew he can’t do that just yet.
This also means he must find a way to absorb real Chaos Qi. The Tormented Chaos Abyss would, without a doubt, have Chaos Essence in the air, and so he can easily absorb that and even kill and absorb from the Chaos Beasts.
As it happens, after his seclusion, his two Blood Cores had grown larger again, so he needed to replenish those, too. It would be like killing two birds with one stone.
"If that is what you think you must do to be able to help us, then we won’t stop you," the High Priestess said. She is a firm believer that the Evil King had sent Kent to them, and so there is no way she would go against him simply because she is afraid.
"However, there is someone you should meet first. She has gathered all kinds of maps of the Tormented Chaos Abyss, and so she might be able to tell you more about that place."
Kent nodded.
Learning more about that dreadful place sure would come in handy.
The High Priestess left the hall with Kent shortly, making their way toward a building about 600 meters away. Along the way, all those they met bowed, happiness appearing on their faces.
It was as if they had already come to the conclusion that, with him here, they were saved. If only it were that simple; however, Kent just smiled and waved at a few, making sure they didn’t panic and cower in fear.
If that happened, their belief in the Evil God would wane, and inasmuch as Kent would love not to be worshipped, he had no idea why his past self had come to this place and established himself as a god.
Until he understood why that was, he would do everything in his power to keep their belief in him intact. So smiling and waving seemed logically sane enough.
A few minutes later, they arrived at the small house where, in a garden, a redhead sat reading some manuals.
Kent furrowed his brow when he saw a different hair color. So far, all of the Velkharians he had seen had silver hair or black with shades of silver.
This is the first redhead he had seen.
She is the only daughter of the High Priestess, Princess Pandora. Just like the others, she is also a pacifist. However, instead of taking the healing path, she became a scholar who specialized in gathering knowledge of their people and, most importantly, the Evil King.
She is also good at solving puzzles, and thanks to her unique negotiation skills, they have managed to form trade alliances with other cities.
She can be said to be the economic backbone of their people. Without her, now that Stone City and its allies have started attacking them, they would have been pushed into a corner.
So her importance is paramount to the Velkharians.
When they entered the garden, she turned and looked at them, a surprised look appearing in her eyes. She dropped the scroll she was reading and stood up. Then, to Kent’s amazement, she bowed down. "I greet the hero of the Evil King."
Kent shook his head and smirked. "Please stand up, and you can just call me Kent."
"Okay, Lord Kent."
There is nothing he can do about that, so he just sighed and turned to the High Priestess. Since she had already come to terms with what he wanted to do, she wasted no time.
"Pandora, I want you to tell Lord Kent everything you know about the Tormented Chaos Abyss."
This time, it was Princess Pandora who furrowed her brow. However, seeing Kent smile made her sigh.
"I will do my best, Mother."
The High Priestess nodded. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
"I will leave you in her care, Lord Kent. After you are done here, come to the temple. I have some things to show you first before you leave for the Tormented Chaos Abyss."
Kent nodded, and soon the High Priestess was gone, leaving only Kent and Princess Pandora in the garden.
"Please follow me."
She led Kent into the house and into an office. Following behind her, Kent couldn’t help but admire her hourglass shape. She is the type who has a thin waist and broad hips. This shape allowed her ass to show perfectly in the tight gown she was clad in.
One thing Kent noticed was that almost all the people he saw were clad in white gowns. Aside from that, there seemed to be more women than men.
While he hadn’t seen the entire city yet, his scan showed that 95% of the people were women. While that is irrelevant, he did notice that 90% of the warriors he saw outside the city were men, so perhaps he would find out more about why that is soon enough.
Once they entered the room, Princess Pandora walked to a cabinet, retrieved some scrolls, and laid them on the table.
She arranged them in order before she began to speak.
Her first question, however, caused Kent to widen his eyes.
"When did you reincarnate, my Evil King?"
