Under the fortress’s cannon fire, they struck again and again on the inclined thick walls, with flashes of explosion, rocks, and sand crashing down.

No need for [Bearkin] Ulysses to speak, the garrison commander at the military port immediately used his authority to send a call for help to the rear.

However, they were not optimistic about the results of the request for reinforcements themselves.

Troops stationed on other islands of the Faroe Islands should come, those legitimate forces yet to complete assembly should come too, but other lords on the Eternal Night Peninsula might not actively respond.

Despite the fact that Kalmar Union’s [Northern Codex] is the most absolute monarchy among all absolute monarchies on the Old Continent, the power of the monarch is significantly stronger than in other countries.

Relying on them to actively come to the rescue is simply unrealistic.
