Pampered by My Secret Husband
Chapter 964 - 966: Do You Think You’ve Treated Me Right? Tell Me!
George Stanford didn’t know where he got a few roasted chicken legs from and was shakily throwing them towards Gabby, who sat not far in front of him.
With each chicken leg thrown, Gabby raised her head, opened her mouth, and caught one.
Every catch was accurate, each mouthful a sure shot.
Sophie Sullivan leaned casually against the doorframe, watching George Stanford and teased, "Hey, Old Mr. Stanford, aren’t you afraid of Gabby anymore?"
Upon hearing this, George Stanford saw her and immediately stretched out his index finger, tremblingly pointing at the tip of her nose, "You ungrateful thing, why do you always bring this tiger to scare me? If not for these chicken legs, it would be eating me now..."
"Hahaha..."
Sophie Sullivan laughed heartlessly; Old Mr. Stanford’s cowering appearance was just too comical for her to control herself.
"Fiona! You dare laugh?" George Stanford angrily growled, "Believe it or not, I’ll cut off your medicine, and let you continue wearing an ugly face."
This threat was like striking a snake’s seven inches, hitting Sophie Sullivan’s vital point.
Her laughter paused, and she immediately reined in her smile, pretending to be seriously stern, and softly chided Gabby, "Gabby, come here, who told you to ask people for chicken legs?"
Gabby was munching on a chicken leg, and upon hearing her master’s call, she immediately walked over to her.
The whole way she walked, she was gnawing on the chicken leg, looking exceedingly satisfied.
Sophie Sullivan: "..."
George Stanford weighed the remaining two chicken legs in his hand, hesitating whether to eat them himself or give them all to Gabby?
Just as he was thinking this, Gabby swallowed the chicken leg and turned her head, her tiger eyes staring intently at the chicken legs in his hand.
George Stanford had no time to think.
He hastily tossed all the chicken legs in his hand towards Gabby, who leapt up, catching both chicken legs in the air.
Sophie Sullivan stepped forward, patted Gabby’s head, "Gabby, go eat outside."
Gabby slowly walked to the doorway, her huge body plopped down and stayed there.
Seeing Gabby finally leave, George Stanford patted his chest, exhaling a long, turbid breath.
Sophie Sullivan pursed her lips, mischievously walked to his desk, pulled up a chair and sat down, "Old Mr. Stanford, take back those angry words you said just now."
George Stanford donned a stern face, snorted through his nose, "No way!"
Sophie Sullivan’s smile paused, "It’s a bit windy, I can’t hear what you’re saying."
"I said, no way!" George Stanford angrily thumped the desk, tremulously pointing at the tip of her nose and started criticizing her faults, "Fiona, oh Fiona, I think Young Master Shannon wasn’t wrong, you’re just an ungrateful wolf. I worked so hard to treat your face, and this is how you repay me, scaring me with that tiger every day. Tell me, how is this fair to me, you tell me!"
With each questioning note, George Stanford’s palm thumped on the office table.
Sophie Sullivan raised her hand to stop him, "Alright, Old Mr. Stanford. I’m wrong, isn’t that okay? You see, I’ve admitted my mistake, so take back those words, it’s so hurtful."
"Hmph! There’s no affection to speak of between us."
"Come on, without this face of mine, how could you reach another peak or achieve greater glory in medical skill? So, we do have a revolutionary bond, don’t you think?"
"Get lost, don’t fool me, I said there’s no affection, so there’s none."
Sophie Sullivan rubbed her chin with one hand, "Since that’s the case, I can only let Gabby play around as she pleases."
Under George Stanford’s astonished gaze, she calmly clapped her hands, her red lips parting lightly, "Gabby, come in."
