Pampered by My Secret Husband
Chapter 935 - 937: How Do You Have Fennie’s Telephone Number?
Linda left the study room and returned to the room where she usually trained.
After lying down, her mind began to clear up, and the pained face of Edward Benson emerged in her mind.
A trace of annoyance crossed her heart.
She got up, took a cold shower in the bath chamber, and then lay down to sleep with her eyes closed.
Inside the study room, the sandalwood incense was still burning.
Lillian Spencer stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, the surprise came too suddenly, so much so that she still couldn’t fully digest this fact.
Thomas Shannon is dead...
The wish she harbored for years was fulfilled in a single morning, her heart suddenly felt empty.
The hatred that had always kept her going had vanished, and she didn’t know if she could bravely live in this world.
She stood quietly for a long time, her legs had gone numb, then she came to her senses and called the guards, "Go find out if Thomas Shannon is dead."
"Yes, Miss!"
Without seeing Thomas Shannon’s corpse with her own eyes, she wouldn’t easily believe he was already dead.
......
Sophie Sullivan took some painkillers, just about to sleep, when the phone on the bedside table started ringing.
Thomas Shannon, who had just come out of the bath chamber, heard her phone ringing and frowned subconsciously. Who was so inconsiderate to call her at such a late hour?
"Who?"
The man’s voice was low, carrying a questioning tone, as if he were a husband catching his wife’s adultery.
Sophie hummed, stretched out her hand, just about to pick up the phone when Thomas Shannon took a few big strides forward, extended his long arm, and snatched the phone before she did. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
"Thomas Shannon, give me back my phone."
"I want to see who is so presumptuous to call you at this late hour!"
Thomas Shannon said, glancing at the number, and seeing no note associated with it, he found it even more suspicious!
He let out a cold snort and answered the phone, "Who?"
"Maniac..."
William Guillen was taken aback, realizing that it was not Sophie but Thomas Shannon on the other end. He paused and said, "Thomas, it’s me."
"It’s you?" Thomas Shannon’s cold eyes narrowed dangerously, with a hint of barely detectable anger, "How did you get Fennie’s phone number?"
Sophie was startled, silently asking him, who is it?
Unfortunately, she didn’t receive a glance of acknowledgment from Thomas Shannon.
William Guillen couldn’t help but chuckle bitterly; even across thousands of miles, he could smell the vinegar wafting off him.
"I have something to discuss with the maniac. It wasn’t hard to find her number. Is the maniac there? I need her help with something."
Thomas Shannon sat on the sofa, casually crossing his long legs, "You can tell me, and I’ll pass the message to her."
Preposterous!
He came straight to Sophie, did he think Thomas was dead?!
William Guillen sighed, pressing his forehead, "Thomas, I really have urgent business with the maniac!"
Afraid he wouldn’t believe him, he added, "It’s about Fluffy’s matter."
As Sophie flipped through a magazine at random, Thomas Shannon maintained a composed look, taking the phone to the bedside and handing it to her.
"Whose call is it?" Sophie didn’t immediately take it but asked indifferently.
"William Guillen."
Thomas Shannon enunciated clearly, one word at a time.
Hearing this tone, was he even jealous of his own friend?
Sophie couldn’t help but chuckle bitterly as she closed the magazine, "Is that so? Quickly, give me the phone."
She eagerly stretched out her hand to take the phone, turned her back to him, and answered, "Do you have something to discuss with me?"
"Maniac..." William Guillen sighed gloomily, as if words were hard to find.
"What’s the matter?" Sophie didn’t understand why William Guillen would call her. It probably had something to do with Fluffy Zane.
