The man silently puffed clouds of smoke, leaving Charlie River unable to fathom what his Young Master was contemplating.

Saying too much would be a mistake, so remaining silent was the best strategy.

After a long time, as Thomas Shannon lit his third cigarette, he lightly tapped the table surface, "Charlie, what is going on? Shouldn’t you be giving me an explanation?"

"Apologies, Young Master, it was my oversight!"

With his head lowered respectfully, Charlie River replied, "Lucifer suddenly came to Country A, it was my error not to report it immediately to you. Please punish me, Young Master!"

"Punishment?" Thomas Shannon scoffed coldly, "You indeed deserve punishment!"

With those somber words, the ashtray was hurled over.

Charlie River did not dodge or flinch, letting the ashtray hit his head, spilling its contents to the ground and shattering into pieces.

His forehead broke, and after a moment of dull pain, crimson blood trickled down, spreading across his entire face.

He looked utterly terrifying.

Thomas Shannon suddenly stood up, circled the desk with a demeanor of nobility, his corner of the mouth slightly hooking up, he questioned coldly and strictly, "All movements of Lucifer must be reported to me. How could you fail to report such significant news of his coming to Country A?" 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

The man lifted his long legs and viciously kicked Charlie River over.

After being slammed to the ground, Charlie River held his lower abdomen with a painful expression, struggling to try standing up again, and ultimately managing to do so with difficulty, "Young Master, it was my oversight; I did not report to you instantly."

Indeed, it was his oversight. Halfway through the meeting, he received the message but thought that since the meeting was ongoing, he failed to report instantly.

Who would have known, once the meeting ended and Charlie River intended to report, Thomas Shannon had already received photos sent from inside the manor by the men in black.

They were monitoring the maniac and Lucifer, capturing every interaction they had and sending it to the Young Master anytime.

Sophie Sullivan led Lucifer to the medical office, initially stopping by Doctor Angus’s office, where meeting His Highness Lucifer in a foreign country made Angus excited.

He stood up respectfully and greeted, "Good morning, Your Highness Lucifer!"

"No need for formalities, Doctor Angus, sit."

Lucifer placed a hand on Sophie Sullivan’s shoulder, the two sitting intimately in front of the desk, and Angus only seated himself after they took their chairs.

"I came to ask you, is Cecilia Branford’s surgical plan prepared?" Lucifer gazed at Angus with a smile, his natural nobility making him appear so distinguished.
