Chapter 1788: Chapter 1791: Days When Boss Ling and Mao Mao Vied for Attention 8

This young master is falling in love for the first time, no way I’m going to hide it. Anyone who dares to call me weird can go to hell!

"Let’s go on a date this afternoon."

After eating and drinking to his heart’s content, Hua Hua stood at the restaurant door, waiting for Ling Yin to bring the car around.

Ling Yin, feeling much better from his cold, was in great spirits. He personally got out of the car to open the front passenger door, and once Hua Hua was seated, he returned to the driver’s seat, pondering where they should go for their date.

"Where do you want to go?"

Hua Hua’s lips curved into a smile: "How about we go to an amusement park?"

Ling Yin: "..."

Hua Hua’s eyes sparkled with anticipation: "I’ve never been to an amusement park my whole life. Going alone, I’m always afraid people will laugh at me." Heh heh, having someone to go with means being laughed at together is totally fine.

"How about we bring a kid along, so it doesn’t look embarrassing?" Hua Hua suggested when he noticed Ling Yin’s slightly stiff expression.

"Let’s bring a kid along." Otherwise, two grown men going to an amusement park alone would be really awkward.

Hua Hua immediately sat up straight, his long legs crossing cheerfully.

Ling Yin drove to the Yan Family home and called his little nephew into the car.

"Uncle Ling, where are you taking me?" Little Yan Mo sat in the backseat, curiously sizing up Hua Hua. After holding back all the way, he finally asked five minutes before getting out of the car, "Uncle Ling, is this uncle going to be my future aunt?"

Dad said Uncle Ling might marry a man, which he couldn’t yet understand. The four-year-old tilted his head, pondering, his eyes never leaving Hua Hua.

Hua Hua turned his head to meet Little Yan Mo’s gaze, deliberately showing a deep smile: "NO! Little guy, you can call me Hua Hua; I’m definitely not your aunt."

"Then what is it? My dad said you two are already engaged." Little Yan Mo pursed his lips, his expression very serious.

"I’m not a woman; have you ever seen a man called aunt? Besides, Uncle Ling and I aren’t engaged. Call me Hua Hua, and I’ll take you to the amusement park." Hua Hua poked his little cheek, "I’m just as cute as the other two in our family."

Little Yan Mo made a resisting face, not liking anyone poking his face. But good manners kept him from swatting the hand away, only blinking his eyes hesitantly, "I think Hua Hua sounds nice, but doesn’t only women get called Hua Hua? Why are you called Hua Hua if you’re not a woman?"

"Don’t you think I look like a flower?" Hua Hua teased him.

Little Yan Mo didn’t take the bait, circling back to the earlier question, asking very maturely, "After you and Uncle Ling get married, how would you like me to address you?"

Hua Hua chuckled, "Up to you."

Little Yan Mo bit his lower left lip, "I’ll still call you Hua Hua then."

"Good, I’ll give you some candy." Hua Hua fished out a candy from his pocket.

"But I don’t want to go to the amusement park, Uncle Ling. Dad promised to come home and take me to archery practice in an hour, and I have fencing class at four thirty. Last week, Dad wasn’t satisfied with my fencing grades; I need to practice hard." Little Yan Mo had packed his schedule full, so how could he be aimlessly playing around?

"..." Hua Hua turned his face, silent for a moment, and said to Ling Yin, "Is this kid really only four years old?" Why do four-year-olds need to learn all this? Sheng Sheng is the same way. At this age, they should just be playing without a care in the world.
