You Think I Won't Talk?-Chapter 452
Looking at her, I wondered if I should tell her about it although it was obvious... and thankfully... I didn’t.
Because right after staring at our bare feet that couldn’t move closer, she smirked, demonstrating what she said was a lie and conveying with her expression that... If I was to ask for help, it shouldn’t be to her.
"Enjoy your stay, My Lady~ The water is fresh and the clothes are clean, I will leave so you may change comfortably~"

’... She was one of Paul’s people all along... d- does that mean there were others???? Is that why it was easy for him to get to us??’
These matters felt immense the more I realised we were never truly safe from Paul’s reach. But even so... I couldn’t actually believe it.
Paul was only the son of a Duke. On his own... he would never be able to pull off all of this, much less get the servants that I met once I was at the Royal Palace to be on his side so effortlessly... So easily... since even back at home he couldn’t.
’He had said before that it’s not only him behind the schemes he has played... But who??? Who on earth is helping that psycho??’
For a second, Theressa came to mind as an answer, but just as fast as it appeared it was dismissed. Like Paul, she had no power and actually had less than Paul himself... If there was anything she could be helping with, it would only be with little things but not what truly mattered.
’... This is getting complicated...’ — The more I suspected with little to no hint about who it could be that was backing Paul up, I eventually went back to sit on the bed. With no other choice since that maid had left everything out of my reach on purpose... and now, I blankly took in the sight of the almost empty place. Acting a little bit too calm in my perspective, but I suppose it was the shock expressing itself.
After a while of not doing anything or thinking of anything... I moved my eyes to stare at the floor. Feeling a bit of anxiety since I felt as if it was there that I should rest on like I did with Seth.
Nonetheless, I wanted to avoid making this more miserable by ourselves. The traumas... I cannot allow them to come back or things could get crazier... But even though I want that, I can’t be sure I’ll be able to endure whatever Paul tries to do...
’He’s certainly another type of psycho... that bucket of water may be used to greet us like he did little after I came to your body...’ — I told Marianne, already disgusted to think of what may happen since little by little he had been more enthusiast on showing that sickening obsession he grew for no other than his sister.

’We’ll need to be strong... together... No matter what happens outside, we need to also do something to get out of here.’
"...~...?" 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
’We only have ourselves here... but at least he’s not the only one guarding us... Something we’ll have to come up with... for now, making time is a must. So we can craft a plan...’
At the time, although it was the worst that could happen to us since he was Marianne’s disgrace, both of us understood that solely once we met Paul again we would be able to learn something that may be of use. No matter what, we needed to manage our nerves so we wouldn’t freeze once before him since, unlike at the ball, we could mentalize ourselves to his appearance...
So we waited. Fiddling with the pretty tear we luckily hadn’t lost in the struggle of fighting Paul. Not touching anything and saving our little forces in case we needed them. Wishing for him to come sooner than later... because I don’t think we can last too long under his imprisonment... Because Marianne’s and my traumas didn’t seem like a good mix in this situation.
’Pretty tear... maybe it’s thanks to you that we are this awake... but if there is any possibility... even a speck of it...please help us find a way... any way to endure whatever’s to come...’

It was on the evening of the next day that news flew to the Crown Prince’s location, telling what would make the searching groups become more alarmed.
"Zeleskiaz, a message was sent... I’m not sure you’ll take this well."
"... Why?... Are they news about Marianne!?" — Standing immediately from the table where a wide map was being studied by the man, Zeleskiaz’s strides instantly took him next to the Right hand. Taking from his hand the little piece of paper his Father had personally written. Reading it fast and feeling immediate fury at the news conveyed. — "?! How the f*ck did he disappear?! Weren’t they watching him closely?! Eff*ng Hell! Bloody bastard!!"
*Crash!*
Kicking the chair he found nearest the tremors of his aura shook the campsite in its whole, placing alert in every knight aiding in the search for the Crown Prince’s stability was shaken once again.
"Zeleskiaz you have to calm down. They are investigating the prison and we’re searching every d*mn corner of the Empire-"
"It hasn’t even been a day! A day! D*mn it!! And that bastard’s already free for who knows why!!"
’!! D*mn it... at this rate, he’ll knock out people with only the waves of aura he’s spreading!’ — Resisting the impact of the Prince’s uncontrolled fury, Biel scowled troubled by the hazard the very man was in itself. Watching how he went back to the table to let his hands fall on it and watch the map again, frustrated.
"I know she’s around... Something’s telling me we should continue to search in these hills... but where is she...? Why can’t I sense her clearly, d*mn it...!!"
"... At least you have a hint... sooner or later we’ll find her..."
"It better be soon... What if with time I can’t identify her whereabouts because she’s unwell?... What if she’s suffering?... That depraved bastard may be hurting her while we lose the bloody time!"
