Yandere Levelling in Her World-Chapter 148 - 149: Something wrong I can feel it (R-18)
Everything related to bringing in new people to join Valkyrie Fang and building the community around the area Astrid had claimed as theirs had been going smoothly, with more and more women and some men joining the community and bringing the much needed labor force they needed.
But lately, Astrid couldn't shake a nagging feeling. Something was off in the dynamics of her team. It started small, during routine briefings and late-night strategy sessions.
She noticed the way Ren's eyes lingered on Nina, not with the typical deference expected from a man, but with a subtle command that made Nina, her iron-willed deputy falter just a bit. And then there was Kyouka, who treated Ren unlike how a sister should treat her brother, their interactions laced with an intimacy that didn't quite fit the "sibling" bond they claimed.
It was during the first evening in the new HQ's training hall that Astrid caught the initial hint. The room was vast, lined with newly reinforced leather suits and weapon racks, the ceiling lights casting long shadows. Nina was overseeing a sparring session, her voice booming as she critiqued the recruits.
"Pathetic! You think something like that will stop a boulderback from crushing your head. You call that a strike? Again!" Nina barked at a young female trainee, her arms crossed, exuding the dominance that had made her Astrid's right hand.
Ren stood nearby, polishing a blade with casual precision. He glanced up, his dark eyes meeting Nina's. "Nina," he said softly, but there was an edge to it, like a velvet-covered steel. "Ease up. They're learning."
Nina's posture shifted instantly. Her shoulders relaxed, and she averted her gaze, mumbling, "Of course, Ren. I... I didn't mean to push too hard." The recruits exchanged confused looks Nina, listening to someone else? It was unheard of.
Astrid, watching from the doorway, furrowed her brow. "Nina, report to my office after this. We need to discuss deployment strategies." As Nina nodded briskly, Astrid caught Ren smirking faintly. What was that about?
Later that night, in the communal lounge, a cozy space with plush seats and a panoramic view of the starry sky, Astrid decided to unwind with a cup of herbal tea. The HQ was quiet, most members retired to their quarters. But voices drifted from the adjacent kitchenette.
"Kyouka, you promised we'd practice that maneuver tonight," Ren's voice teased, low and affectionate.
Kyouka giggled, a sound uncharacteristic for the usually composed operative. "Shh, little brother. Not so loud. People might hear." There was a rustle, then a soft thump against the counter. "This is no longer that shack!"
Astrid paused, her cup halfway to her lips. Peeking around the corner, she saw them: Kyouka pinned playfully against the wall, Ren's hand on her waist, their faces inches apart. It looked like sibling roughhousing at first. But then Ren leaned in, whispering something that made Kyouka blush and bite her lip. "You're mine tonight, sis. No escaping."
Kyouka's eyes sparkled with mischief. "As if I'd want to, baby. But remember, in public, we're just family."
They pulled apart as footsteps approached from elsewhere, but Astrid retreated silently, her mind racing. Siblings? They weren't blood-related; Kyouka had mentioned adopting Ren as a "little brother" back when they were small. But that intimacy... it felt charged, forbidden in what she considered to be what a sibling relationship should be like.
The next morning, during a team breakfast in the mess hall, Astrid observed more closely. The table was laden with protein-rich meals, all members being women except Ren. Nina sat rigidly, barking orders at the servers, of course to hurry up.
Ren slid into the seat beside her, his presence casual. "Nina, pass the salt," he said, not asking but commanding.
Without hesitation, Nina complied, her hand trembling slightly as she handed it over. "Here you go, Ren." Her voice was softer, almost eager.
Astrid raised an eyebrow from across the table. "Nina, you're off your game today. Everything alright?"
Nina straightened, her dominant facade snapping back. "Perfectly fine, Astrid. Just focused on the upcoming raids to rescue people."
Kyouka, seated next to Ren, leaned over and ruffled his hair. "You will be fine right, Ren? I'm going on an expedition with Selene today. Take care of yourself."
As the meal progressed, Astrid noticed Ren's foot nudge Kyouka's under the table, a subtle touch that made Kyouka squirm and smile secretively. Nina caught it too, her expression flickering with... jealousy? No, that couldn't be.
"Nina, can you help me with new weapon shipment. I need a strong woman to unload them." Ren suddenly suggested, his tone leaving no room for refusal.
Nina's cheeks flushed. "I... yes, Ren. I'd like that."
Astrid intervened. "Actually, Nina, I need you for perimeter checks. Ren, you can handle that task alone."
Ren nodded respectfully, but his eyes held a glint of amusement. "As you wish, Astrid."
That afternoon, in the strategy room with glowing screens and data screens, Astrid reviewed plans with Nina. The air was tense; Nina seemed distracted, her usual sharp insights dulled.
"What's with you and Ren?" Astrid asked bluntly, leaning against the table.
Nina blinked, caught off guard. "Nothing, Astrid. He's just a team member."
"Doesn't seem like it. You defer to him. It's not like you, that's... unusual."
Nina laughed it off, but it sounded forced. "He's got good ideas for a man. That's all."
Before Astrid could press further, Kyouka burst in, breathless. "Leader, We found a nest of Mistral wisps. Selene said to tell you she's prepping for a raid to get rid of that."
Astrid nodded, dismissing them. "I will provide the necessary explosives. Nina will take care of providing explosives with Ren, who has the knowledge about all the documentation."
But curiosity gnawed at her. That evening, she decided to patrol the halls herself, under the guise of security checks.
The HQ's residential wing was dimly lit, doors lining the corridors like silent sentinels. As Astrid passed Ren's quarters, she heard muffled voices.
"Ren, please... tell me what to do," Nina's voice, uncharacteristically pleading.
Astrid froze, pressing her ear to the door.
Ren's response was firm, dominant. "Kneel, Nina. Show me how obedient you are."
There was a soft thud, knees hitting the floor? "Yes, Ren. Like this?"
"Good girl. Now, unzip my pants and show me things I taught you. Let me see how improved you are at this."
Nina's breath hitched. "I... I love when you take control. I'm always the strong one, but with you..."
"Shh. No talking. Just obey and suck it."
Astrid's eyes widened. Nina, the dominant force of Valkyrie Fang, submitting like this? It wasn't sex at least not yet, from the sounds she knew this was something she didn't expect in her whole life to hear, Ren leading in a way that defied societal norms.
The soft, wet sounds started almost immediately slurping, muffled moans, the occasional gag that Nina tried to swallow down. Astrid pressed her back against the wall outside Ren's door, heart hammering so hard she was sure they'd hear it.
Inside, Ren's voice was low and steady. "That's it… deeper. You've been practicing, haven't you?"
A wet pop as Nina pulled off just long enough to answer, voice husky and breathless. "Every night… thinking of you. Wanted to be perfect for you, Ren."
"Good girl. Show me."
The sounds returned, hungrier now, Nina's rhythmic bobbing clear even through the door. Ren groaned softly. "Fuck, your tongue… right there. You're getting so good at this."
Nina whimpered around him, the vibration making Ren hiss. "Keep going. Don't stop until I say."
Astrid's face burned. This was Nina, the woman who made even other guild leader flinch with a glance, the leader of Valkyrie Fang on her knees, obedient and eager. The proud, untouchable Nina, moaning like she was the one being pleasured.
"Hands behind your back," Ren ordered. "Let me use that pretty mouth."
Nina's muffled "yes, master" was barely audible, but it sent a jolt through Astrid. Then the pace quickened wet, sloppy sounds filling the room, Ren's breathing growing ragged.
"Look at me," he commanded.
A soft whine, then Ren's low growl of approval. "Perfect. Swallow it all when I come. You've earned it."
Astrid slid down the wall, legs weak, unable to move or look away from the scene she couldn't even see. The mighty Nina, completely surrendered and loving every second of it.
She pulled away, heart pounding, and continued down the hall. Turning a corner, she nearly collided with Kyouka, who was slipping out of the ammunition storage.
"Kyouka? What are you doing here?" Astrid demanded.
Kyouka startled, her hair dishevelled. "Just... checking on supplies, Leader."
"At this hour?" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Kyouka smiled innocently. "Can't sleep. You know how it is."
But as she walked away, Astrid noticed a hickey peeking from under her collar fresh, passionate.
The pieces were connecting, but slowly. Over the next few days, the instances piled up. During a group drill in the outdoor arena, under the blazing sun, Nina led the charge as usual, her commands sharp.
"Form up! Women front, healers in the back!"
Ren approached her during a break, handing her a water bottle. "Drink, Nina."
She took it without protest, sipping obediently. "Thank you, Ren."
Astrid, overseeing from a platform, noted how Nina's eyes followed him longingly.
Later, in the armory, Astrid overheard Kyouka and Ren.
"Little bro, that was risky last night," Kyouka whispered, her hand on his chest.
Ren pulled her close, their bodies pressing together. "Kyouka, you know I can't resist. Your room or mine tonight?"
"Yours. But be gentle... or not." They kissed quickly, hungrily, before separating as someone approached.
Astrid hid in the shadows, shocked. Siblings? This was no pretend play; it was real, incestuous in vibe even if not blood-related. In their world, such bonds were taboo, especially with Ren asserting equality or was it dominance? They seemed balanced, both pushing and pulling unlike what she heard with Nina.
Slowly but surely, Astrid began to understand one clear thing about this new man. He seemed rather odd under her leadership and had been in the spotlight ever since he appeared. There was also the fact that Astrid's objective, Fake Lan Jia, had taken an interest in him.
"This man is no ordinary man. What is he trying to do? No man takes this much interest in women unless he has some motive. Is he a danger? I must find out quickly, before he does something irreversible."
