Bai Lan’s expression changed slightly upon seeing Ye Tian and she didn’t speak to him. Instead, she nodded to Yun Xinyan beside him, "Xinyan, you’re early."

"Yes." Yun Xinyan said, "Oh right, how’s the second project going?"

These two old classmates and colleagues, both strong women, rarely chatted about makeup or clothing when they met. They talked about company matters. They had been like this since their university days, which also made them good friends.

The elevator doors opened, and everyone walked in. Bai Lan was heard saying, "I’m in charge of the second project. It’s mostly shaped up, just the automotive part left. As you know, I’m not very knowledgeable about cars. There’s a lot I need to learn in that area."

"Him?" Bai Lan frowned, clearly reluctant.

Yun Xinyan laughed, "Don’t underestimate him. He may not be good at other things, but when it comes to cars, I guarantee that no one in the company knows more than he does."

Bai Lan looked at the casual Ye Tian, and then at the confident Yun Xinyan, unable to shake the feeling that the two of them had an unusual relationship. She suddenly felt jealous.

"It’s settled then, Ye Tian, you will help out Bai Lan’s team for the next few days." Yun Xinyan wielded her CEO authority directly, issuing the command.

"Alright." Ye Tian shrugged, "Who else but the all-capable Ye Tian, right? Too handsome for my own good, what can I say."

"Vain!" Bai Lan glared at him.

The elevator soon reached the top floor of the Dihao Building.

Yun Xinyan and Bai Lan, one after another, the two ice queen beauties made their appearances, immediately drawing the male clerks’ gazes.

The powerful Yun Xinyan walked into her CEO’s office, and Bai Lan swayed into her office, too. The door had barely closed when Ye Tian pulled it back open.
