Chapter 335: Chapter 335: Take One, Repay Ten

Declan Pierce opened the car door for Tanya Sinclair, his gaze crossing over the car roof, looking into the distance at a corner where a black business car was parked by the roadside, a part of its headlights showing. Declan expressionlessly withdrew his gaze and drove away.

Inside the business car, Mrs. Pierce leisurely put down the binoculars. Sitting beside her was Dr. Albright.

Mrs. Pierce glanced at him indifferently, speaking with deep meaning, "Are you saying that this bastard lately isn’t cooperating with my Zeke’s treatment as much?"

Dr. Albright cautiously stated, "Mrs. Pierce, Master Zeke himself means to slow down the pace. Plus, he’s recently been taking the medicine sent by Ms. Sinclair."

Mrs. Pierce coldly interrupted, disdain in her eyes, "Tanya Sinclair’s medicine? What is she even, daring to offer treatment for Zeke?"

"Madam, it’s Master Zeke’s own decision..."

Mrs. Pierce furrowed her brow, "Zeke really is... at this critical moment, still interested in fooling around with them! When can the surgery be done?"

Dr. Albright calculated the dates.

"Based on Master Zeke’s current physical condition, it will take at least another month to prepare. Then the full body blood exchange can be performed." Dr. Albright, observing Mrs. Pierce’s expression, carefully added, "Over the past years, we have been continuously trying, using various drugs and experiments to maximize the compatibility between Declan and Master Zeke. Rest assured, by then, the success rate for the surgery will definitely reach ninety-five percent, and Master Zeke won’t suffer."

"Ninety-five?" Mrs. Pierce shot him a glance, "I want my son, one hundred percent safe!"

Dr. Albright thought inwardly: even the smallest surgery can never have a one hundred percent success rate!

But he dared not say this, only smiling along.

Mrs. Pierce closed her eyes and pressed her temples, "If necessary, control that Sinclair woman." She murmured, "She’s the best chain to bind Declan."

...

Declan Pierce dropped Tanya Sinclair off at the old Sinclair manor.

"Want to come inside for a while?" Tanya invited him.

Declan smiled, "If I sit for a while, I might not want to leave. Besides, I have some work matters to deal with." He touched Tanya’s face gently, still too thin.

Her palm-sized face, resting in his hand.

"Eat more." Declan earnestly advised, "Don’t get so busy with work that you end up eating nothing."

She pressed her face into the cold palm of his hand, her tone half coquettish, "Then you have to cook for me more in the future. Supervise me to eat well."

Tanya found that in front of Declan, she’d take a mile if given an inch.

And Declan, he agreed to everything.

"Alright."

Tanya assumed he was just coaxing her, smiled, and got out of the car. She turned back to wave at him.

Declan sat in the car, watching Tanya’s figure walk away, and as if through a haze, he saw the Tanya Sinclair of many years ago, happy as a princess.

’Buzz buzz—’ The ringing phone pulled Declan back from his thoughts.

He glanced at the caller and picked up while driving.

"Speak."

"Second Master, the person you wanted to find, we’ve located them! But the person is imprisoned in a war-torn area of Zendar."

"Where Felix Kendall goes on missions, it should be nearby, lure him over." Declan instructed in a low voice.

"Yes!"

His peripheral vision caught sight of the rearview mirror.

Only to see a silver car trailing them, only briefly visible before quickly hiding within the traffic upon sensing something amiss.

In the depths of Declan’s dark eyes, a chilling coldness grew, vicious and fierce. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

"The time has come, clear out all the Pierce Family spies. If anyone gets close to Tanya Sinclair, make them disappear from this world!"

The subordinate was slightly taken aback upon hearing this and reminded, "Second Master, if we move now, that means a direct war with The Pierce Family?"

Declan lightly turned his neck, his voice chilly and sharp.

"The Pierce Family is no longer of any use."

He had endured all these years, not to be just a blood bag.

If The Pierce Family takes an inch from him, they will have to return tenfold!

The most important thing is...

Declan looked at the fleeting blur in front of him, his grip on the steering wheel slowly tightening.

He was running out of time.

Tanya Sinclair stayed in the study until nightfall, which she had already transformed into a small pharmacy and laboratory. Reading the medical books made her eyes sore. As she read, her hands did not stop.

Until the phone rang, she answered the call with a sore hand.

"Mom." Came Caden’s crisp voice from the other side, "We’re almost home."

Tanya smiled and said, "Okay, then Mom will wait at the door to greet you."

Tanya put on a coat, went to the door, and after waiting for only a couple of minutes, Vincent Hawthorne’s white Bentley drove up.
