Wrong Love, Final Goodbye: She'll Never Look Back-Chapter 314: Vincent, I Will Cling to You Forever
Tanya finished the conversation and went straight into the classroom.
Vincent watched her back, a deep sense of helplessness swelling in his heart. Then he lifted his eyes to see Cindy walking over with Joy in her arms, and he wished he could strangle her!
Cindy held Joy tightly in her arms. With Joy as her amulet, at least Vincent wouldn’t turn on her in front of the child!
"Vincent, I..."
Vincent directly pulled Joy out of her embrace. His face was cold, suppressing his anger: "Joy, you go in first. We adults need to talk."
Joy was a bit reluctant to go in by herself.
"Daddy..."
"Be good!" Vincent’s tone turned stern.
Seeing her dad a bit angry, Joy shrunk her neck and conceded: "Alright then... Mrs. Cindy, come quickly. It’s almost our group’s turn."
Once Joy went inside, Vincent dragged Cindy to an isolated stairwell.
He was furious: "Cindy, do you not understand human language? I told you to get out of Aris! And you still dare to come to school to see Joy?!" 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
Cindy’s eyes turned slightly red: "Vincent, I know you hate me for deceiving you, but my feelings for you and for Joy are real! Yes, I am leaving, but I promised Joy I would come to her parent-child event. I don’t want to break my word to her..."
In the past, Cindy’s tears were a catalyst for Vincent’s soft-heartedness, but now, seeing her pitiful appearance only made him feel nauseated.
"In what capacity are you attending Joy’s parent-child event?" Vincent’s eyes were cold and full of disgust. He grabbed Cindy by the neck and pinned her against the wall. He reminded her coldly, "Cindy, truth be told, you’re just a mistress hiding in the shadows!"
Cindy did not struggle, but in the painful grip of suffocation, she voluntarily held Vincent’s hand.
"I am a mistress, but I’m Vincent Hawthorne’s mistress." She laughed almost pathologically, "Vincent, if it weren’t for your permission and indulgence, how could I climb into your bed? How could Joy call me mom?"
Vincent roared, "Shut up!"
The harder he squeezed, the more frenzied and grotesque Cindy’s laughter became, tears spilling from the corners of her eyes.
"Vincent... we are in collusion..."
"You!" Vincent’s chest heaved with anger. For a moment, he truly wanted to strangle her.
"Daddy Joy." Ms. Underwood’s voice suddenly sounded, and Vincent quickly released his grip. Ms. Underwood happened to walk over, Vincent’s face still carrying residual anger, while Cindy was smiling through her tears. The scene looked bizarre.
Ms. Underwood was a bit embarrassed: "Well, it’s almost Joy’s group’s turn. Joy is looking for you."
Before Vincent could speak, Cindy spoke up first, "Thank you, Ms. Underwood, we’ve finished our conversation. We’ll head to the classroom now."
Vincent tightly gripped Cindy’s arm, yet Cindy seemed to feel no pain, her eyes smiling, as she naturally clung to Vincent’s arm.
"Let’s go, Vincent." She leaned into his ear, softly saying, "Unless I die, I will always love you and cling to you."
"..." Vincent looked at Cindy’s still pure and sweet face, only feeling a chill of disgust creeping over his heart.
In the classroom, Tanya sat next to Abby, flipping through her study booklet, where she had small red flowers and medals. On the last page of the booklet, there’s a section to write about "My Wish."
Abby had drawn two big and one small person holding hands.
In the corner, there was a line: [My biggest wish is to be with mom and dad.]
Tanya tenderly touched Abby’s head.
"Are you getting used to staying at The Kendall Family these days?"
"Yeah." Abby nodded, "The maids are nice to me, but Uncle Kendall isn’t home. I miss him a bit. But Grandpa Kendall video calls me every day and invites me to play on weekends~"
It seemed Old Master Kendall was very fond of Abby too.
"Aunt Sinclair, do you know where Uncle Kendall went?" Abby asked curiously.
Tanya: "He... went to maintain world peace."
This shouldn’t be considered lying to children.
Abby’s eyes lit up: "Wow, is Uncle Kendall a superhero?"
Tanya smiled: "Kind of, he’s a very awesome person."
Their harmonious scene was seen by Joy from afar, her little face full of displeasure.
Just then, Cindy and Vincent came in one after the other.
"Mom Cindy! Dad!" Joy deliberately shouted loudly, running over to hold Cindy’s hand on one side and Vincent’s on the other, looking like a happy family of three.
Hmph, she has both a mom and a dad, and plenty of people love her, much better than that little beggar Abby!
Tanya watched Cindy unabashedly sit next to Joy, and the parents around naturally called her Joy’s mother. Cindy pressed her lips and smiled, brazenly accepting this title.
Tanya’s eyes grew slightly cold, it seemed Vincent truly had deep feelings for Cindy!
Next was the turn for Abby and Joy’s group of kids to play the musical chairs game. Just before the game started, Joy said something to the other kids in her group.
As the game started, seven kids circled around six chairs, and when the music stopped, they started scrambling for seats.
Just as Abby was about to sit down, she was suddenly pushed from behind by a kid, causing her to fall to the ground.
