Chapter 194 - CH: 192 All Together
{Chapter: 192 All Together}
The girls stared at William in a daze, their eyes trembling with emotion, shimmering with tears that threatened to fall. After more than two years of uncertainty, of sorrow and hope, of waiting in silence—he had finally awakened.
"William..." one after another, they called his name, their voices breaking under the weight of overwhelming joy.
"Dad!" Becky cried, her small feet pounding against the ground as she dashed toward him with all the strength her little body could muster.
"William!" Terry followed right behind her, her expression radiant and filled with disbelief.

Alice, Jill, Claire, Ada, and K-Mart—each of them couldn't hold back any longer. Their feet moved before their minds could catch up, and in an instant, they surrounded him, throwing themselves at William and burying him in a collective embrace that overflowed with warmth and longing. Their soft bodies pressed against him from all sides, arms tangled and desperate to feel him again, to confirm he was really here, really awake.
"You're crushing me," William murmured with a dry chuckle. "Your enthusiasm is like fire."
Yet his eyes betrayed his words—moist with emotion, the strength in them shaken. He hadn't realized just how much he'd been missed. For a brief second, the hero who had faced death countless times felt humbled by love.
After a while, they sat around him, some leaning into him, others clinging to his arms or legs, unwilling to let go. The moment of reunion was still sinking in.
"How long have I been asleep?" William asked as he exhaled, gazing softly at the sky above them, as if searching for lost time.
"More than two years," Claire answered, her voice quivering.
William raised a hand and rubbed the bridge of his nose, frustration flickering across his face. "That's... really a long time."
"Why were you asleep for so long?" Ada asked, her eyes filled with concern as she held onto his hand like she never wanted to let go again.
William let out a sigh. "The short-term combination of T-cells and metamorphic cells came at a heavy cost. Half of both types of cells were destroyed in the process. I slipped into a coma while my body fought to stabilize. It took all this time just to recover."
"Can't they fully fuse?" Jill asked, brows furrowed. "The power that came from the combination was overwhelming. Surely it's worth mastering."
Claire leaned in. "Is there no other way? No method to make the two cells fuse permanently?"
William shook his head solemnly. "Not for now. White Queen, any progress?"
The holographic projection of the White Queen shimmered into view. She crossed her arms and frowned. "Transformium cells are unlike anything I've ever studied. They're alien in design, unpredictable in behavior. It's beyond current bioengineering. No short-term solutions. It'll take time."
"Still," William muttered, eyes sharp with determination. "That power—it's incredible. It needs to be harnessed. We can't afford not to." He turned to her with a steely gaze. "White Queen, I'm entrusting this research to you. No excuses."
The White Queen pouted playfully. "Tch. You only know how to £nslave me."
He smirked but said nothing.
"Have the zombies returned to human form?" William asked next.
Becky cut in excitedly, "Yes, Dad! There are no more scary monsters now. It's safe again!"
Terry added, "In total, nearly 2 billion zombies reverted back to human form. But compared to the previous population of 8 billion... the world feels so empty now. Like a ghost town in some places."
William shrugged. "It doesn't matter. Even if most of the world died... having 2 billion left is already a miracle. Honestly, I think that's more than enough."
"Dad! That's so cold," Becky protested, puffing her cheeks.
William laughed and lifted her up onto his lap, hugging her tightly. "As long as my sweet daughter is alive and well, the rest of the world can burn. You're the only one I care about."
Becky giggled, hugging him tightly around the neck, her heart full of love.
"Pervert," White Queen muttered under her breath. "He doesn't even spare his own d@ught£r..."
William ignored the remark, letting Becky rest her head on his shoulder.
Alice looked at him seriously. "William... what do you plan to do now?"
He looked out over the horizon, his voice calm. "It's time to leave this world."
The girls immediately froze.
"Leave this world? What do you mean?" Jill asked, her eyes wide with alarm.
Becky's hands tightened around his arm. "Daddy... are you going somewhere? You have to take me with you!"
William smiled gently and touched her cheek. "Of course. My precious daughter goes wherever I go."
"William!" Claire pleaded, leaning closer. "Don't joke like that. What do you mean by leaving this world?"
"It's not a joke," he replied slowly. "I meant exactly what I said. I'm not from here. I never was. And now, the time has come... Ten minutes left, maybe less."
A deep silence fell over them.
"I don't understand..." K-Mart whispered. "You're not from this world? Are you saying you're an alien?"
William shook his head. "Something like that. A wanderer between worlds. My time here is ending."
Becky's eyes grew wet again. "No... no! Wherever you go, I'll go too! Don't leave me, Daddy, I won't let you!"
He hugged her tightly, placing a kiss on her forehead. "You're coming with me. That's already decided."
"William, you don't have a fever, do you?" Claire asked, placing her warm palm gently on his forehead. Her touch lingered for a moment longer than necessary, concern flashing in her eyes.
William chuckled, brushing her hand away playfully. "I'm very sober, Claire. Do I look like I'm joking around?"
Claire pouted. "Well, you do say a lot of strange things sometimes."
"Not from this world, but from another dimension... it sounds so mysterious," K-Mart added, her tone full of awe and a hint of disbelief, like a girl caught between science fiction and romance.
Alice folded her arms and looked at William seriously, her tone sharp but her gaze softer than usual. "I don't care whether what you said is true or not. You owe me too much, William. One way or another, you will repay me."
William smirked but didn't argue. Deep down, he knew she was right.
Claire stepped forward, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear, her eyes locking with his. "Why say it in such a roundabout way? What you really mean is you're taking us with you. Well... William, I'll follow you—no matter where you go."
"Me... me too," Terry added, her voice trembling slightly but her eyes burning with emotion. She clutched the hem of her shirt, nervous yet determined.
"Asshole," Jill barked, fists clenched, but her eyes glistened. "If you don't take me with you, I swear I'll never forgive you. I'll haunt you in every universe."
"I've made up my mind," Ada said softly, her head lowered shyly, her cheeks a gentle shade of pink. "I'll follow you too."
K-Mart hesitated, fidgeting slightly as she looked at all the confident girls around her. "Th-that..." she stammered.
Claire teased with a grin, "Come on, K-Mart. Don't you always go on and on about how much you like William? Why so shy now?"
K-Mart's face turned crimson. She gathered her courage, took a step forward, and declared boldly, "William, I want to go with you too."
William raised an eyebrow mischievously. "Aren't you afraid I'm actually the bad guy in the life?"
K-Mart hesitated, then answered in a flustered but honest voice, "Not afraid... You are a bad guy. You always act like the kind who likes f*rcing strong women to... to obey you... but I— I'm..." Her voice trailed off, and she buried her face in her hands.
William laughed, a deep, rich sound. "Oh? Interested in testing the waters?" he asked, his tone teasingly suggestive.
Before K-Mart could stutter out a reply, Jill reached over and pinched William's waist hard. "Stop teasing her, you jerk!"
William winced but laughed even harder.
Only the White Queen stood silent, arms crossed and eyes narrowed in mock disapproval.
William tilted his head. "What about you, White Queen? Staying here and running simulations alone? Or are you joining your favorite 'p£rvert£d weird d@ddy' on this trip?"
The White Queen scoffed and rolled her eyes with an exaggerated sigh. "Do I even have a choice? Of course I'll follow you, you insufferable maniac. Someone has to keep your ego in check."
William beamed. "Wonderful! Everyone's made such a beautiful and obedient decision. I was ready to tie up whoever refused and drag them along, kicking and screaming." He spread his arms dramatically. "Turns out, my charm is irresistible. No coercion needed, ha!"
The girls all glared at him in unison, some blushing, some smirking, all shaking their heads. Jill muttered something under her breath that sounded suspiciously like "shameless pig."
One by one, the girls leaned in, touching him—his arms, shoulders, chest—desperately trying to ground themselves in the moment. As if their warmth could stop the countdown ticking away.
A radiant warmth enveloped the group. In this final moment, there was no fear—only love. Love strong enough to cross worlds.
"There are still three minutes left," William announced suddenly, serious now. "Each of you, put your hand on this."
From within his pocket space, he drew out the shimmering, mysterious Tesseract. Its core glowed with swirling cosmic light.
"What is that?" Claire asked, leaning in with wide eyes.
"Don't ask right now," William said. "Just trust me. Place your hand on it. Just one finger will do. Quickly."
Though the girls were filled with questions, one by one, they obeyed. Some touched it eagerly, others hesitated but followed. Their hands overlapped, fingertips grazing against one another. Jill's pinky brushed William's, and she quickly pulled it back, cheeks warm. Ada leaned closer than necessary, her shoulder pressed against his. K-Mart's hand trembled slightly, but she didn't let go.
"William... can we come back here?" Ada asked in a soft, almost trembling voice.
William paused. His eyes grew somber. "I don't know," he admitted. "We might never return. But I can promise you this—wherever we go, I'll love you and protect you. All of you."
For a moment, silence filled the room. That promise meant everything.
"The countdown begins," William said, his voice echoing with tension and anticipation. "Ten... nine... eight..."
As he counted, the girls exchanged glances. Fear mixed with excitement, but none of them stepped away. They had made their choice—not for survival, but for him.
"Seven... six... five..."
Claire leaned into William's side. "No matter where we go... just hold my hand, okay?"
He gently took her hand, squeezing it.
"Four... three... two..."
Jill sighed and muttered, "You better not die, you bastard."
"Not planning to," William said with a smirk.
"One."
A blinding circle of light burst at William's feet, wrapping around all of them like a divine seal. It pulsed brighter and brighter, until a searing flash engulfed the entire room.
And then—they were gone.
Just like that.
Vanished from this world.
But none of them regretted it. Because wherever they were going next... they would go together.
