World Domination Begins With Getting a System in a Modern World-Chapter 58 - 48 Hours To Listing
Chapter 58: 48 Hours To Listing
James stepped out of the Koenigsegg Gemera with a wide smile plastered on his face.
The entire drive through Lower Bel-Air had been nothing short of incredible. The smooth roads, the towering mansions, the breathtaking cityscape views — it was an entirely different world. Even the air itself felt different.
Even after he got the property, Anzo Estate, through the system’s rebate reward, it hadn’t fully hit him just how luxurious and exclusive their new neighborhood was — until now.
He had grown up seeing mansions like these on TV, associated with billionaires, Hollywood A-listers, tech moguls, and old-money elites.
Yet here he was, driving through the very streets where these untouchable figures lived, in a hypercar that could outpace most Ferraris. It was nothing short of a dream for a young man like him.
Even though James looker calm on the surface, he was feeling a lot of emotions at the moment.
James smirked, shaking his head slightly as he shut the car door. If someone had told him a week ago that he would be cruising in a $1.7 million hypercar through Bel-Air, he would’ve laughed in their face, before walking away feeling sad that it would never happen.
But now, this was his new reality. He has no idea how to express himself right now and that is why he’s very calm.
As soon as Leslie stepped out of the car, she threw her hands in the air and screamed.
"Oh my God! I can’t believe we actually saw Jay and B’s place! And that we are living in the same freaking neighborhood!"
Her excitement was very palpable.
James and Patty exchanged amused glances before bursting into laughter.
Even they were still adjusting to the fact that they had technically become neighbors with some of the wealthiest and most influential people in the world.
James shook his head, recalling something that had stood out to him during the drive.
"I was actually surprised to see Elon’s house," he admitted, with a big smile on his face as he thought about the future.
James knew that this wasn’t just about seeing Elon Musk’s property — it was what it represented.
Before acquiring Anzo Estate, James had never even considered the possibility of living in a place like Bel-Air. Not because he lacked the ambition, but because he understood something that most people didn’t:
Money alone doesn’t buy access.
Sure, he was on track to earning billions, but there was a massive difference between having money and being allowed into exclusive circles.
Would a high-end real estate firm even entertain selling property in this area to a 21-year-old with newfound wealth?
James doubted it very much.
"Without the system, I wonder if I could’ve actually bought a house here, even if I had the money."
He knew the answer already. He won’t. At least, not yet.
These kinds of properties weren’t just about price tags — they were about connections, reputation, and legacy.
Money could open doors, but influence was what let you stay inside. And that was something he would have to start working on soon.

Leslie practically bounced toward the house entrance, her eyes gleaming with childish excitement.
"I really wish we could move in already," she said, her voice filled with pure anticipation.
James and Patty both smiled. They both felt the same way.
The house was perfect and everything about it screamed wealth, and success. It was a level-up beyond anything they had ever imagined.
Yet, despite their enthusiasm, Patty was the one to be practical about it.
"We will move in after moving in the furniture and other necessary things from our old place," she said.
"And when we are don with that, I will put the place up for sale. I want everything to be handled properly," she added.
James heard what Patty said, but however, he wasn’t entirely on board with that idea.
"We should get everything new, Patty," he argued. "There’s no point in bringing old furniture into a place like this. It wouldn’t fit the vibe at all."
He felt that bringing the furnitures and stuffs from the old place to here, would cause a mismatch. And besides, James want to richly furnish the new place and he won’t be able to do it, if Patty wants to use old stuffs.
Patty shook her head on disagreement to what James said.
"That would be too much and unnecessary expenses. Why waste money when we already have perfectly good furniture?"
She was thinking practically, but James wasn’t bound by those same concerns anymore.
It’s not that he wants to waste money but he just felt gang since the furnishings is only to be done once, then he should splurge since he can.
"Don’t worry about the money. I’ll take care of it," he smiled at her.
He currently has more than enough cash to furnish the entire estate with brand-new, high-end furniture that matched the luxury of the house.
Patty initially wanted to refuse, but she knew just how James is and she knew that he won’t budge. And besides, she understood that be wants to spend on the house.
So, she silently made up her mind that once the old house was sold, she would transfer the money from the sale back to James.
She didn’t say it out loud because she knew James wouldn’t accept it if he knew.

After exploring every inch of the estate and getting a feel for their soon-to-be home, they finally decided to head back home.
Leslie, of course, wanted to ride home in the Koenigsegg Gemera.
"Come on, James! Let’s take the hypercar home!"
But James immediately refused.
"Too flashy. It will draw too much attention."
Patty agreed with James’ decision.
"Yeah, let’s not attract unnecessary attention. We’ll use the Chevy for now."
Leslie pouted but reluctantly climbed into the Chevy. She understood where the both of them were coming from and she also agree with them.
The drive back was less thrilling than their earlier cruise through Bel-Air, but James didn’t mind.
His mind was already filled with new plans.

By the time they arrived home, Leslie still hadn’t shut up about the new house.
Patty, on the other hand, had already grabbed her laptop and started browsing furniture stores online.
James smirked, watching her scroll through endless luxury home catalogs.
"Already making plans, huh?"
Patty gave him a small smile but didn’t look away from the screen.
"Yeah."
James nodded and headed straight to his room to handle one last task.
The moment James walked into his room, he remembered that he still had one more thing left to do today.
He was yet to transfer the money to Ralph for the memecoin promotion.
Immediately, he pulled out his phone and transferred $700,000 to Ralph.
A second later, his phone buzzed with a debit notification from his bank.
A few moments later, another text from Ralph came in.
Ralph: "Got it. Everything’s set. I’ve already contacted the influencers and I will send them money immediately. Also, big news—the memecoin will be officially listed on the CEXs in about 48 hours."
James grinned when he heard this.
"48 hours, huh?"
This was it. The moment he has been waiting for was almost here.
The final phase before everything went public.
Once the token was listed, things were going to explode. Massive price surges. Media attention. Investors FOMOing in. A liquidity flood.
"If everything goes as planned, my holdings will be worth nearly a billion dollars soon," James said to himself, with a smile.
But before that, he still had a few moves to make.
His mind raced with ideas. He thought of injecting more money into the liquidity but he was out of cash, as he has already budgeted all the cash he currently has.
"Since I can do that, I should fund my CEX trading account and wait for the listing," he said, as he funded $3 million into his Bynance account.
"Now, all I can do is wait."
