Capítulo 1486: Chapter 699: His Mom Is So Fierce! (Part 3)

Meanwhile, in a casino VIP room, Ferming was drinking with a wealthy lady, and incidentally doing drugs. She was high and ready to strip, about to enter the main act, when the phone on the table rang, waking him up. He smiled at the lady, pointed to the door, and went out to answer the call.

Once outside.

The voice on the other end was hurried and low:

“Ferming, you caused huge trouble! That kid named Alvarez is at the police headquarters right now! They’ve blown the whole casino and ‘Extraterrestrial Object’ thing out, and the cops are heading your way, listen, clean up immediately, don’t leave any trace, or you know the consequences!”

The drunkenness and drug effect cleared from Ferming’s mind instantly, and his hand holding the phone began to tremble uncontrollably.

“Quick! Quick! There’s no time!” urged the voice from the other end, then hung up, leaving only a busy tone.

Ferming slammed open the heavy VIP room door, ignoring the wealthy lady inside who had started taking off her jacket and appeared dazed, and rushed into the corridor, shouting at the top of his lungs: “Everyone! Listen to me! Red alert! The police are here! Quick! Get rid of all the ‘candies’! Flush them down, don’t leave a single piece!”

The previously lavish and relaxed atmosphere inside the casino was instantly shattered, replaced by chaos.

The staff ran in panic like bees disturbed from a hive.

The guests in the VIP room who had been lost in the illusions of ‘Extraterrestrial Object’ were also shocked by this sudden change, and half woke from their high.

“Quick! Get the guests out through the emergency exit! Don’t use the main entrance! Scatter them, ensure they leave safely, they absolutely cannot get trapped in the casino!”

Veins bulged on Ferming’s forehead, while he commanded, he rushed personally to the biggest VIP room, where a lot of spare ‘goods’ were stored.

His men frantically poured white powder packaged in exquisite small bags into the toilet, desperately pressing the flush button, watching the expensive ‘Extraterrestrial Object’ disappear deep into the drain.

Meanwhile, other staff members hurriedly guided the staggering, disoriented guests through hidden passageways inside the casino unknown to the public, leading to neighboring buildings or alleyways, trying to move them out before things got worse.

Just don’t get caught here!

“Quicker! Hurry up!”

Ferming looked at the chaos around him, his heart pounding, as if he could already hear the distant police sirens.

His only hope now was to destroy all direct evidence before the police barged in, and get all ‘dirty’ guests out. As long as they didn’t catch anyone red-handed, there might still be a sliver of hope, to maneuver through this with his connections.

As the last batch of anxious guests slipped out the back door, with staff frantically flushing the last few packs of ‘candies’ down the drain, not even having time to clean up any residues left at the scene, the casino’s glamorous main entrance was violently slammed open with a ‘bang’!

“Police! No one move!”

Fully armed riot police poured in like a tide, swiftly taking control of all exits and key locations.

The casino hall that was once brightly lit and noisy was now silent.

Director Lionel Schultz, in a crisp police uniform, strode out at the front, his gaze sweeping across the chaos like a spotlight, especially towards those VIP rooms yet to be tidied.

Ferming immediately wore a professional, slightly sycophantic smile, jogged over, pulling out expensive cigarettes from his pocket and handing them over, trying to ease the atmosphere: “Director Schultz! What brought you here?”

Schultz didn’t even glance at the offered cigarettes, directly waved his hand, ordering the officers behind him: “Seal the scene! Everyone stay and undergo inspection, the casino will cease operation, seal it until the investigation is complete!”

“Seal the venue?”

Ferming’s smile froze instantly, sweat he had just wiped off reappearing on his forehead, trying to stay calm, “Director, why is that? There has to be a reason, right? Our business loses astronomical numbers just from one day’s closure.”

Schultz abruptly turned, his eyes fierce as he stared at Ferming, interrupting him with a low voice, “The police need not report reasons to you for their actions, right?”

Ferming felt his heart sink under that gaze.

Schultz didn’t waste any more words, stepped ahead, almost pressing into Ferming’s face, suddenly grabbing Ferming’s collar, pulling him closer, his voice lowered, each word piercing like an ice pick into Ferming’s ear: “Don’t try to pull that on me! Where’s ‘Extraterrestrial Object’? Where are those drugs hidden? Speak!”

Ferming felt his breath stifled, his heart almost leaping to his throat, but he knew he must not admit anything now, or it would all be over.

He shook his head desperately, putting on an innocent and aggrieved expression: “Drugs? Director, what kind of joke is that! We are a legitimate casino, how could we have such things? This is definitely slander! Someone is envious of our thriving business and setting us up!”

“Setup?” 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

Schultz snorted coldly, leaning in closer, his voice so soft only the two of them could hear, “Ferming, don’t assume having some big shots backing you makes you untouchable. In my jurisdiction, drug trafficking is a high-voltage line not to be crossed.”

Schultz let go of Ferming’s collar: “Search! Every room, every corner, especially hidden rooms and secret compartments, leave no stone unturned, take all staff on duty tonight, especially those in the VIP area, and separate them for questioning!”

“Dig deep, I refuse to believe nothing will be found!”
