Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon?-Chapter 1033 - 680: Is Sain Really Hated by People?

The Holy Light Dungeon dislikes me, Gong Qiying can still understand.

Back when I was in the Yanor Kingdom, I often had conflicts with the Holy Light Church, although the conflicts weren't too big, they seemed to have significant influence.

If the Dungeon Lord of the Holy Light Dungeon is truly a devout believer, then disliking me after hearing about the events of the Sain Dungeon is understandable.

The Blast Flame Dungeon dislikes me too, I'm not entirely without understanding.

That dungeon contains some information about the Fire God, deducing from this, perhaps its Dungeon Lord is a Fire God believer?

The original Fire God named Frame didn't have any interesting tales passed down, even its church became so dilapidated.

Then an elder came to the Sain Dungeon — a Flame Cultivator who spread the tales of Gwyn, and directly kicked Frame from the Fire God title and replaced it with Gwyn.

Since then, the Starfire Church rode the wave of the Sain Dungeon's rise and developed rapidly. It turned from an almost-disbanded obscure small church to what it is now, although still not as impressive as the Holy Light Church, it counts as a big presence among the numerous ordinary churches.

It fully explains what it means to take off when standing at the cusp of opportunity.

However, the Starfire Church has its issues too, there are people within the church dissatisfied with the Flame Cultivator's decision to change the Fire God, causing a split into two factions: the Gwyn believers and Frame believers.

Yet, the traditional faction of Frame believers remains nameless and quiet up to now, it's unknown if it's even alive anymore.

If the Dungeon Lord of the Blast Flame Dungeon is truly a traditional believer... then his dislike for the Sain Dungeon is also understandable.

Although the changing of the Fire God wasn't directly my decision but entirely executed by adventurers below, it's related to me, I acknowledge it.

But...

What's the situation with the White Blood Dungeon?

"I've never interacted with it," Gong Qiying looked at Red Teeth in confusion, "Why does its Dungeon Lord dislike me?"

At that moment, he felt like he'd become the Demon Slayer Corps Water Pillar among Dungeon Lords, why do so many people dislike me?

Then he thought of Heiniss, Youlesa, and Rainbow Horn, comforting himself, "I'm not disliked."

"I don't know."

Red Teeth shook his head.

"That guy has a stubborn temper, can't get anything out of them, though they used to communicate with others quite a bit, often exchanging insights on dungeon design, but now they've become silent."

"There's no way if we don't know the reason."

Gong Qiying also shook his head, sighing, "Knowing I'm disliked really makes me sad."

"Five thousand spiritual power as a gift for you." Red Teeth waved his large hand.

"I feel a bit happy now."

"Just a bit with five thousand given to you..." Red Teeth couldn't help but remark.

Gong Qiying smiled, said, "Stop joking, who among those three do you think is most suspicious?"

"Among those three…" Red Teeth thought for a bit, eventually shook his head, saying, "I can't pick one, the suspicion of other dungeons is a bit bigger than theirs, but asking you to investigate them can draw the most reaction. Oh, if communicating with them, don't bring up the Demon Clan topic."

The affair of searching for demons among Dungeon Lords was known only to a small handful of Lords, mostly those from the extremist faction of the Asta Alliance, completely hidden from others.

"Anyway, that's about all the information, be careful yourself."

The figure of the Red Dragon gradually became transparent and vanished. Before fully leaving, he left one message.

"The Demon Clan may understand dungeons better than humans, be prepared when interacting."

Red Teeth left, the Dungeon Lord's room returned to silence.

"Demons understand dungeons better..."

Gong Qiying recalled distant memories.

When saving Val Dungeon, the demon leader I encountered used unknown methods to find the then silent Val Dungeon entrance and turned it into his base.

Later, a similar situation appeared in Cangyin Dungeon, a demon with a frog head used those spiritual power-lacking transformed demons to threaten Cangyin Dungeon trying to force cooperation.

Judging by this, perhaps some demons know that dungeons possess self-awareness?

But the rules of the dungeon include a line stating that the Dungeon Lord must not voluntarily reveal their existence to the outside world.

If not leaked by the Dungeon Lord themselves, how could demons know? 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Do they have any usable means?

These things, Gong Qiying didn't know. Initially, he captured a few of Doslepo's men for interrogation, but they were obviously just airheaded demons who knew nothing.

Once, a City Lord of the Asta Alliance had attacked a Dungeon on demon territory and even interrogated the demon Dungeon Lord, but the other party just replied with a blank face, claiming ignorance.

The City Lord of the Asta Alliance wasn't discouraged and left the demon Dungeon, intending to disguise himself and manage it to gather intelligence on the demons. Therefore, no changes were made to that demon Dungeon.

However, for some unknown reason, the number of demons visiting that Dungeon suddenly decreased after a certain period, eventually becoming so deserted that they couldn't earn any spiritual power and incurred daily losses. The Asta Alliance had to abandon it.

Because of his experience and lesson, in duels with demon Dungeons, City Lords wouldn't choose to take the Dungeon.

Does anyone among the demon Dungeon Lords know the reason? Surely, but finding it is like searching for a needle in a haystack, and no one knows when they might encounter it, and even then, the other party may not honestly disclose it.

If only they could catch a Demon King for interrogation.

But that aside, it seems there's always been a rumor that the Demon King is about to be resurrected, yet it hasn't happened, while more and more Heroes are emerging.

Besides Elsa, there were already reports of Heroes from various places, but without the Demon King's emergence, Heroes didn't have the chance to become famous. Currently, the most renowned Hero is Elsa, who delivered the final blow in Black Hawk's Chaos.

Thinking about all this doesn't seem particularly practical. Gong Qiying turned his head to look at the altar beside him.

There, Red Teeth had already sent over information about the Sealed Item from the Dungeon in Scameroon.

"Just as well, the adventurers from the Warrior Country are also at a bottleneck in their exploration. Let's change our perspective."

————————————

As Gong Qiying said.

The adventurers in the Warrior Country seem to have hit a bottleneck in their exploration of the Sain Dungeon.

The initial areas of Nimgefo and the Crying Peninsula were roughly explored by the adventurers. There may be places still undiscovered, but such detailed work is left to the professional Strategy Group.

Galide's exploration progress isn't as advanced as Nimgefo's, but the main areas have been surveyed, and what's left requires careful searching. Besides, no one can defeat the Shattered Star General there. If they somehow manage to defeat Latan, Galide might undergo changes.

Although Lake Lienia isn't quite the same as the Yanor Kingdom's version, its exploration among adventurers is even more advanced than Galide's. Nonetheless, they still can't defeat the final boss, the Full Moon Queen.

The Full Moon Queen here is much stronger than the Biomimetic Tear Drop in the Yanor Kingdom.

Some adventurers have even been known to faint from fear at the eerie atmosphere upon encountering the Full Moon Queen for the first time.

These three areas are the most frequented by adventurers now. As for the rest...

The underground map still hasn't been discovered; surprisingly, no one has found an entrance to the underground, which leaves Gong Qiying wanting to make a snarky comment.

The memory of the Elden King has opened the challenge to Rakad, yet people still haven't found a way to the Volcano Mansion, let alone see Rakad.

Regarding the Yatan Plateau and Royal City Roder, neither's been found either. Whether it's not finding the Great Elevator or not gathering enough talismans, or simply failing to find a shortcut.

The Blood Dynasty has been discovered by Luluwo and several powerful Strategy Groups. However, the rapid growth in the strength of the Monsters there deters many explorers, despite the Lune rewards being substantial, but these two factors don't compensate each other.

Moreover, the Blood King is incredibly difficult to defeat. A team of ten can't seem to win unless perhaps there's an entire team of Gold Level or even Heroes, like the one that once fought the Elderly.

Considering the above circumstances, it's obvious.

Although the Sain Dungeon continues to attract newcomers, the adventurers' progress on the front lines has been halted, with exploration progressing at a snail's pace, stuck in a genuine bottleneck period.

Where have the newbies wandering into the adventure gone?

Once they enter the forest area, it's like sinking into an abyss; from then on, Nimgefo becomes unfamiliar to them.

The forest area has a far greater repeatable exploration factor than other areas. Newcomers, drawn in by numerous strategies, become trapped and won't leave until they've trained themselves to perfectly counter the Golden Lion King Eight Fists as the Ten-Mile Slope Sword God.

Perhaps when this large group of rookies engrossed in hunting in the forest finally decides to venture to other areas, the bottleneck might break.

But that might take several months. While Sain can boost their parameters, real combat skills still need personal training.

To break through the current bottleneck period, a strong external force might be required, or perhaps some significant event.

Speaking of major events...

"Tachi Regiment, assemble!" "Great Sword Regiment, assemble!" "Charged Axe Regiment, assemble!"...

"Reporting, Your Highness, your forces are assembled, awaiting orders!"

"Excellent, full of spirit!"

Lanle looked below at the fourteen legions made up of users of forest area weapons, feeling invigorated, he raised his arm and shouted:

"This time, we will surely win the Battle Festival!"
