Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon?-Chapter 1026 - 676: Pioneer of the Gourmet Domain
"Want to come over here and check out the latest red strategy released by the White-eyed Cyan Dragon Strategy Group!"
"The fastest Mo'en City strategy! It teaches you how to quickly run through the unchanged main road within an hour!"
"The latest fool-proof strategy from the Heavenly Chicken Strategy Group is now available!"
Wait a minute, Heavenly Chicken Strategy Group?
Hearing the sales pitch from the shop next door geared toward adventurers, Fudolin pauses and picks up the strategy guide signed by the Heavenly Chicken Strategy Group to flip through it.
"It's really just a pirated copy of the Skyrim Strategy Group stuff..."
For a moment she feels speechless, taking the guide and dragging the shop owner to confront him about where the pirated goods came from.
While her daughter was arguing "hand in hand" with the shop owner, Nadi started flipping through the various strategy books on display in the shop.
They are here to buy strategies to properly complete the food area's exploration task they accepted.
The map of the food area changes daily, but there's always some pattern that can be studied.
Just like how Fran Fort will always have three Beacon Towers regardless of changes, routes like the one leading to the Beacon Tower in Fran Fort are called main roads by adventurers. Main roads don't frequently make big changes; every area has such roads.
Therefore, strategy books for each area generally revolve around the main roads. Of course, there are strategy books dedicated to studying those roads that do change.
The names of each strategy book are eye-catching, and the colorful covers immediately convey their purpose to grab customers' attention. The names of the various Strategy Groups are written in smaller fonts on the covers.
The cover of strategy books always has a rectangular icon, and the books are arranged on the shelf with red, yellow, green, and white symbols from top to bottom. This is a feature of the Warrior Country, using color to differentiate the difficulty of the area, preventing adventurers from entering dangerous areas beyond their abilities.
Nadi squats and flips through until she finds the food area strategy book marked in white. The white strategy books are placed at the bottom, looking like they haven't been bought much.
The red strategy books at the top shelf are selling quickly, indicating their popularity.
The food area is quite unique; it has strategy books in all four colors - red, yellow, green, and white.
Sure enough, as Nadi sweepingly collects the strategy books with the food area's name into her bag, an adventurer comes and picks up two from the red shelf.
"Hmm?"
Nadi frowns in confusion, noticing the strategy books taken were for Yanor Londo and Red Teeth Dungeon, evidently high-risk places.
Yet, that adventurer who took the books seems very weak, so weak that Nadi could suffocate them with a breath.
Could it be they're buying for someone else?
The adventurer hears the sound she makes and turns to see Nadi holding mostly white and green strategy books in her arms, letting out a disdainful chuckle.
The next second, they are sent flying, turning into a Meteor in the sky, with the shop owner who produced the pirated guides tossed in the same direction by Fudolin.
"Adventurers have become vain recently, no matter their real strength, they insist on buying red strategy books. If they buy white ones, others will look down on them."
Fudolin explains to her mom while tossing some Gold Coins into the shop as payment for the books and medical fees.
"Vanity's not good," Nadi nods seriously.
"..." Fudolin is silent for a moment and can't help but say, "Mom, don't you think our roles are somewhat reversed?"
"Hmm?" Nadi tilts her head in confusion.
Despite her mature appearance, such action makes her seem quite naive, with the contrast increasing her charm.
"It used to be you giving me all sorts of life lessons while I echoed along, why has it become me lecturing you now!"
Even today, Fudolin hasn't gotten used to her mom's personality shift.
"Playing dumb appropriately makes you feel comfortable, no longer having to ponder too much like before," Nadi pats her shoulder and says earnestly, "That's a lesson I learned from those days in Sain Dungeon. Try it, don't live so tiringly."
Simply put, unless it's something requiring serious attention, Nadi maintains this kind of carefree demeanor.
After all, with the plague just resolved, looking at past experiences, it won't reoccur for at least a decade, it's time to relax properly.
Hearing this, Fudolin slumps her shoulders, unable to respond.
She feels like she's evolving into a critic role.
Thanks to the days spent adventuring with Luluwo and others, she amassed quite the vocabulary, enhancing her critic skills to a level comparable to members of the Skyrim Strategy Group, even earning praise from Nadi for her wit.
"...Such 'praise' isn't good at all."
The delegation for exploring the food area comes directly from the adventurer's guild and connects with the officers selected by Nadi. The officer then distributes the commissions, giving the Dragon Clan some tasks to prevent them from idling and becoming moldy.
Half of the already limited Floating Island Dragon Clan went to the construction site, building their homes on the land allocated to them by Banto.
The rest are set to enter the Teleportation Gate to handle the commission.
