She had no idea that resisting a little, or perhaps saying not to break up, might make him agree.

"Yes!"

"Fine." Lucas Knight released her fair hand, no longer holding her, "If you want me to leave, I’ll leave."

With those words, the man turned and got into the car, with an air of arrogance and cold nobility, he drove away.

The luxury car quickly disappeared from Eva Nightingale’s sight.

He left, he really left!
