Chapter 629: Chapter 629: A Way to Make Him Talk

Adrian Lancaster himself is also quite skilled; he didn’t care about his own safety, even though Black Hawk carries the weight of a life and is a desperate outlaw.

But Adrian Lancaster is not afraid!

After finishing breakfast, Adrian Lancaster wiped the corner of his lips with a warm towel and then handed the towel to the servant beside him.

His refinement and elegance truly seep into his very bones.

He lifted his gaze and looked seriously at the man sitting opposite.

His frame wasn’t small, his skin dark, face lined with wrinkles, exuding a ruthless intensity. He didn’t wear a cap, and the conspicuous scar above his forehead must’ve bled a lot back then.

"If you don’t want to say anything, I won’t force you."

Adrian Lancaster’s voice wasn’t loud, yet it carried authority. "I’ll come again this time next year."

Black Hawk suddenly looked up, next year??

Adrian Lancaster stood up and said to the guards at the door, "Take him upstairs. Without my permission, he cannot leave the room for a year."

"Yes!" Two guards advanced towards them.

Black Hawk was shocked; he’d go insane from the confinement!

He stood up abruptly, "You’re going to keep me for a year?!"

"So what? It’s not like I can’t afford it," Adrian Lancaster told him, "As long as you can endure it, I can wait!"

One day, he will speak!

The gaze of the two men locked, and the muscles on Black Hawk’s face twitched.

Adrian Lancaster’s handsome face turned icy as he remained silent.

The standoff between them lasted about a minute before Adrian Lancaster withdrew his gaze and began to walk out.

Black Hawk was held on either side by Adrian’s guards, unable to resist their overwhelming strength.

"Wait a minute!"

Black Hawk became agitated; how could he endure such confinement?

It was worse than death, and the worst part was, they didn’t even let him smoke!

Adrian Lancaster’s lips curled slightly, pausing his steps, his back to them, "Bring him to the living room." After saying this, he continued forward.

"Move!"

His guards weren’t gentle with Black Hawk, who dared to kidnap the wife and almost harmed the child; truly, he was beyond redemption! Only President Lancaster could endure this!

Black Hawk was dragged uncomfortably but couldn’t fight back; now he was nothing but a caged bird, completely at their mercy.

Moreover, the gunshot wound in his leg hadn’t fully healed.

The living room was full of Adrian’s men, their gazes like knives flashing coldly, all directed at him!

Black Hawk had never been treated like this before. He had some reputation in the underworld as well.

Adrian Lancaster sat down in the sofa; he resembled an emperor in power, crossing his legs, leaning back, spreading his hands on the armrest.

His eyes fixed on Black Hawk, Adrian’s expression different from earlier.

After a while, he said to his men, "Everyone leave, I want to talk to him alone."

"Yes."

His subordinates saluted and respectfully withdrew.

Yet they kept an eye on the situation, secretly ensuring their master’s safety, as Black Hawk was no ordinary villain, vicious and ruthless.

Black Hawk looked at him with a resigned gaze.

"First, you only need to tell me who ordered you to target my wife?"

When Adrian Lancaster brought up the matter, his dark pupils narrowed, and a cold, bloodthirsty glint flashed through.

The temperature in the living room seemed to drop.

Black Hawk stood there, "Kill or flay me, do as you please, just don’t keep me here."

"I ask you, was it Brandon Lancaster or Elias Young? I know both are rats, but I want to know whose conscious decision this was, who proposed this?" Adrian Lancaster’s demeanor was no longer as before.

He suppressed his rage, his voice low and husky.

"Not going to talk?" He waited a few seconds, a cold smile forming on his lips, "Are you forcing me to take action?" He raised his hand and made a simple gesture.

Before Black Hawk could react, two men grabbed him on either side and kicked him hard behind the knees.

With a thud, Black Hawk fell to his knees!

The pain made him grimace.

His arms felt nearly dislocated, each slight movement causing a sharp intake of breath in pain.

And Adrian Lancaster’s iron-fisted methods, he had long heard of.

Looking up once more, meeting Adrian Lancaster’s bloodthirsty eyes, he bore the pain and spat out three words, "Brandon Lancaster."
