When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster-Chapter 499: A Chance Encounter
Hearing the news, Adrian Lancaster couldn’t be happier, "Then quickly arrange for them to do the identification!"
"You haven’t provided me with a sample yet..." That was the real purpose of the call.
Adrian Lancaster finally realized, and he thought, "Alright, alright, you can come to my house tonight to pick it up, around ten o’clock, the exact time will depend on my message."
"Your house?" Bea was a bit surprised, "Are you looking for Mrs. Turner’s parents?"
"Yes." Adrian Lancaster candidly admitted, "So everyone needs to be diligent, there will be a big reward for finding them!"
Adrian Lancaster pampers his wife, that’s something everyone knows!
So this big reward might even be a direct gift of a house.
All afternoon, Faye Turner stayed in the large office of the design department, waiting for Dustin Shepherd’s news.
She was worried there might be a mistake and concerned that someone had already destroyed the evidence.
She hoped to quickly get the records she had in mind and then start researching.
She was eager to find Adrian’s biological father, just as Adrian was secretly helping her find her biological parents.
They loved each other so passionately, quietly giving their all for each other, hoping for each other’s family to be complete.
In the evening, just leaving the company in a Lamborghini.
Adrian Lancaster was in a good mood today, looking over the pregnancy check-up sheet, "The baby has grown again, I bet he is going to look like mom."
"Daddy, you must have memorized the punctuation marks on this by now?" Faye Turner teased him, unsure of how many times he had looked at it.
"You never get tired of reading it, after all, it’s your own child." He said with a smile, still fixated on the lines of text.
"Boys usually look like their dads, while daughters resemble their moms." Faye Turner glanced back at him and asked, "Do you prefer a boy or a girl?"
"As long as it’s your child, I love them all." Adrian Lancaster answered almost without hesitation, carefully putting away the sheet, he took her hand and said, "Faye, let’s go to Teacher Gable’s house for dinner, shall we?"
"Now?" Faye Turner was surprised.
Seeing him nod earnestly, "Yes, now."
She smiled and asked, "Why?"
"Just want to see her, want to go home for some homemade dishes, let’s not contact ahead, we’ll eat whatever she makes, no need to be picky."
"Hmm, but what if there’s not enough rice?" Faye Turner asked him, "You don’t cook, don’t manage the house, you don’t know these details."
President Lancaster thought for a moment, "Then should we buy some grains? Steamed buns? Dumplings? And maybe get a roast duck?"
"Looks like you really want to go home for dinner, huh?" So, Faye Turner nodded in agreement, "Alright, let’s follow the husband’s plan!"
Thus, he told Mr. Kerr to buy a roast duck and then go to Teacher Gable’s house for dinner.
Since they didn’t give a heads up, when Faye Turner and Adrian Lancaster carried the fragrant roast duck back and knocked on the door.
The one who opened the door was Eliza Hayes, which surprised everyone outside.
"Mom?" Faye Turner finally snapped back to reality after a while, astonished, she quickly called out.
Adrian Lancaster froze, his smile faded, holding the roast duck, ready to turn around and leave.
It was Faye Turner who held him tightly.
"Faye, Adrian." Eliza Hayes looked awkwardly with a smile, "Looks like I came at the wrong time." She opened the door, "Come in, I’ll leave."
Only Faye Turner knew she had genuinely changed, and today she truly came to see Teacher Gable sincerely.
"No, no, no, let’s eat together." After entering, Faye Turner changed her shoes and called towards the kitchen, "Mom! Adrian and I are back!"
Chloe Gable came out wearing an apron, excited, "Sit, sit, sit, we can eat soon, go wash your hands! Milo will be back soon too!"
