Chapter 467: Chapter 467: She’s a Born Rebel

"Dad, I’ve grown up." Kylie said, trying to control her tone, full of patience—

"I think everyone has their own way of life. Even though you are my father, you really can’t control me. I’m not an object; I’m a person with thoughts!"

The girl’s rebuttal made the stubborn Mr. Fletcher blow his moustache and stare in anger—

"If you had any thoughts, you wouldn’t take this endorsement! You wouldn’t take this step! Does the Fletcher Family lack this money?!"

Mrs. Fletcher reached out to stroke his back, gently persuading, "Don’t be angry, don’t be angry, speak kindly. Our daughter has grown up, it’s normal for her to have her own thoughts."

"It’s all because of you!" Mr. Fletcher turned to his wife furiously.

This scene made Kylie want to stand up and argue, but Chase Fletcher held her back.

"Bro! What are you doing?! You’re also young! Don’t you have your own thoughts?! Dad controls everything for you, can you bear it?!" She could only turn her head to vent—

"You’re this old, and he won’t even let you date! All about work first! There’s absolutely no conflict between work and love, right?"

"I’m not dating because I don’t want to date yet." Chase explained softly to his sister, "It’s not because Dad won’t let me."

He was handsome and attractive, calm and gentle.

"Then why don’t you bring her home?" The girl cleverly shifted the focus to her brother, "I’ve seen you two go on a date!"

Chase’s expression slightly changed; he knew his sister was referring to Rachel Sherman.

Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher were stunned, and they looked at their son with gazes that seemed to ask: When did you get a girlfriend?

It left him somewhat speechless, and he quickly explained, "It’s not true, I don’t have a girlfriend, really, don’t listen to her nonsense."

"You even went to have dinner together and still don’t admit it?" Kylie tried to shift the focus, "I saw it with my own eyes!"

"Isn’t having dinner normal? It’s not like renting a hotel room." Chase replied to his sister with a smile, "What era are we living in?"

The siblings’ eyes met; the brother was calm and not angry with her.

He certainly understood his sister’s intention, so he quietly reminded her, "Are you thinking about going on a blind date with Evan Sharp? Dad talks to you about work, and you talk to me about feelings?"

"I won’t marry a lawyer! In case of a divorce, there’s no benefit!" Kylie said willfully, then turned to look at her parents. She suddenly broke into a smile, "You two, consider this! Learn to be more open-minded; don’t people become more insightful as they live?"

Who doesn’t feel for their own daughter?

Mr. Fletcher was very angry because she refused to go on a blind date with Evan Sharp and planned to go into show business. The two issues combined really made him want to hit her!

You have to know the Sharp Family is an educated family; how could they allow a daughter-in-law to enter show business?

Five minutes later—

Chase raised an eyebrow, prepared himself, and followed his father upstairs into the study.

Without waiting for his father to ask, he explained, "Dad, I know what you want to ask. I’m not in a relationship, really."

Mr. Fletcher sat down at the desk with a somewhat grave expression, his handsome features slightly etched with wrinkles.

He looked up at his outstanding and handsome son, asking him—

"How have the company’s recent performances been? I’ve heard from the executives that your management abilities exceed their expectations, and the recent major projects have been handled very well."

Chase reported the current work situation to his father, and finally, his father told him, "If you have a girl you like, bring her home for us to see."

This surprised Chase, but he really wasn’t a couple with Rachel Sherman!

His father said, "Your work has stabilized, and you’re at an age for marriage. As long as the girl’s upbringing is good, her background doesn’t matter. The Fletcher Family should marry an able woman, not a vase. I only have one request for her."

"Dad, don’t worry. I, Chase Fletcher, wouldn’t be attracted to a vase." The man said gently, "You must believe in your son’s taste."

Mr. Fletcher sighed, "Regarding Kylie, you need to persuade her a bit; she’s full of rebellion."
