Chapter 411: Chapter 411: Don’t Change the Subject on Me

The staff helped her put on the last set of jewelry from the Forever series, which sparkled brilliantly and was incredibly exquisite. It was the show’s finale piece.

Kylie Fletcher stood under the spotlight, striking various poses, her every smile and frown sweet and captivating. Truly radiant.

Chase Fletcher had been there for a while, but he hadn’t shown his face yet.

He found a spot backstage, watching his sister in the center of the stage posing for the photographer. He couldn’t help but recall an hour ago—

The Fletcher Estate, imposing and situated in an exceedingly valuable area.

Mr. Fletcher came downstairs, cigar in hand, with an authoritative demeanor.

He delivered his ultimatum to his son in the living room—

"Chase! Put aside what’s happening in the company for now. I’m giving you one last day. You must bring Kylie back to me!"

His father and sister were arguing over the marriage, placing the pressure on him, the brother who had just returned home.

Chase knew very well about his sister’s stubborn temper!

Looking at his now elegantly grown sister, Chase momentarily felt dazed; time indeed flows like water.

Finally, Kylie finished the shoot, and a round of enthusiastic applause erupted at the scene.

"Wrap it up, everyone! Job well done, and thank you for your hard work."

Kylie finally let out a sigh of relief and turned to head backstage, "Why are you hiding? You were just waiting for me, weren’t you?"

Chase simply stopped in his tracks, puzzled, looking at his sister, "You saw me earlier?"

The girl chuckled, "What else?"

The man put his hands in his pockets, "Today’s style is very beautiful."

"I could enter the entertainment industry; this time, I won’t hide from you!" What’s she afraid of?

She had leverage against her brother!

Though Dad was urging her to marry, he didn’t allow her brother to have a girlfriend!

Since her brother just took over the company, he should focus most of his mind on work.

Backstage lounge.

"What would you like to drink? Wine or coffee?" Kylie truly looked beautiful, her fair and petite frame accentuated by today’s dress, even leaving her brother momentarily stunned.

"I don’t want anything; I just want to chat," Chase said with his hands in his pockets, "after this talk, I still need to go to the company for a meeting."

"Oh, President Fletcher took some time out of his busy schedule to come here?" She still poured him a cup of coffee, "Here, tell me, what do you want to chat about?"

"Don’t think that just because you saw me having dinner with a girl, you have the leverage to negotiate with me." He furrowed his brow lightly, "Dad says, no matter what, you have to come back."

"Why go back? To marry Evan Sharp?" The girl’s smile disappeared, intensely displeased, "I don’t want to go on a blind date with him, I have someone I like!"

"Dad doesn’t allow you to date Byron Moss."

"Marriage is freedom," Kylie retorted, "Bro, don’t interfere with my affairs, and I won’t tell Dad about you dating a girlfriend! Let’s not meddle in each other’s business!"

"I’m not dating anyone."

The girl smiled, "Sure, sure, I’m blind."

"Kylie Fletcher, don’t change the topic with me." The man put down the coffee cup and sat on the sofa—

"No matter what, he’s still our father. To sever the father-daughter relationship over a man, one must think carefully about this."

"I haven’t decided to sever ties; he himself said if I walk out that door, I shouldn’t return!" The girl felt sad just thinking about it.

"That was in a fit of anger!"

"Can something like that be said in a fit of anger?" The resentment in the girl’s heart hadn’t subsided, "I’m not going back, and if you force me, I’ll tell Dad you’re dating!" 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

"Kylie Fletcher, I’ll say it again, I’m not dating."

"I’ll say it again too, I’m not going back!"

Just like that, the siblings remained in a stalemate in the lounge.
