Chapter 241: Chapter 241: Good Person or Bad Person?

As the words fell, the man began to touch her, "Your skin is so nice, so smooth, is it natural?"

Frightened, she instinctively resisted, "What are you doing? Don’t touch me!"

"Oh, quite a temper!" The man wasn’t angry, "Playing hard to get, are we?" His eyes roamed everywhere.

Dustin Shepherd was sitting nearby, sipping red wine while looking in their direction.

Seeing the man act out again and Serena Sutton obviously resisting, he put down his wine glass and stepped forward.

"Are you crazy? Can’t you tell the good girls from the bad ones? I’m not here to play!" Serena Sutton was really angry.

The man’s face changed, his dignity crushed, planning to take her by force.

Dustin Shepherd reached out and pushed the man aside, "Behave yourself!" He didn’t say much, but there was an aura about him.

Serena Sutton turned at the sound and saw Dustin Shepherd standing beside her, which surprised her a little.

Dustin Shepherd had a face full of righteousness, his gaze slightly cold.

The two men seemed to recognize him, they originally wanted to retaliate, but soon came to their senses, "Assistant Shepherd?" 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Then one man pulled his friend and turned to leave, "Let’s go, let’s go; we can’t afford to mess with someone from President Lancaster’s team."

Once they left, Serena Sutton came back to her senses, turned her gaze to Dustin Shepherd.

She remembered their last meeting where he harshly warned her not to take what wasn’t hers, she could feel his dislike.

But today, under the neon lights, she felt Dustin Shepherd had a sacred glow about him, she smiled and asked, "Are you here alone too?"

Dustin Shepherd glanced at her, didn’t respond, and walked back to his seat.

Serena Sutton watched him sit down in that spot, then picked up her wine glass and went over.

Sitting across from him, "Thank you." Then she took the initiative to clink glasses with him, raised her head, and took a sip of the wine in her glass, "I didn’t expect Assistant Shepherd to help someone in need."

"Even if it wasn’t you, I would have stepped in all the same." Dustin Shepherd’s meaning was obvious, he was kind but didn’t like her.

Serena Sutton wasn’t embarrassed, she wasn’t in a good mood tonight and just wanted to drink and chat with someone, "No problem, you don’t have to explain so clearly, such a trivial matter, I wouldn’t trade my life for it."

Dustin Shepherd raised his eyes, his gaze slightly cool.

After a while, Serena Sutton asked him rather sadly, "What do you think, if a person makes a mistake but realizes it and tries to correct it, is she good or bad?"

Dustin Shepherd looked at her and saw a hint of kindness in her smiling eyes.

Serena Sutton gave a bitter smile, he didn’t answer, and she didn’t speak further, instead drinking cocktail after cocktail, her mood actually a bit more relieved.

Faye Turner and Adrian Lancaster were asked by Grandpa to stay overnight at the old mansion, but this night Faye Turner was plagued by nightmares and didn’t sleep well.

Next morning.

During the night, Rachel Sherman made milk three times and changed June’s diaper twice, finally falling asleep at three in the morning.

When she awakened, it was already eight in the morning.

She was scheduled to go to work at nine but noticed Dylan Shaw still lying in bed, feeling a pang of anxiety, she quickly pushed him, "Dylan Shaw, wake up, are you going to work today?" He had already overslept.

She was kindly reminding him but didn’t expect it would directly rouse Dylan Shaw’s anger; he got up and threw a pillow at her—

"I’m damned not working from today onwards! Thanks to your good friend! She’s married into wealth and can’t stand the sight of you having a good life!"

Rachel Sherman was struck dumb, his shout scared their sleeping child into crying!

The frightened cries were heartbreaking.

Rachel Sherman quickly turned to hold the baby, only to be pushed by Dylan Shaw, almost crushing the child, luckily her hands were quick to support.

"Dylan Shaw!" Rachel Sherman turned abruptly, "Calm down! The child is only six months old!"
