When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster-Chapter 1042: Good Morning, Darling
Faye Turner got into bed and lay down in her usual spot. She pulled up the blanket, curled up slightly, and gently closed her eyes.
Her breathing seemed even, but in truth, her heart was a bit flustered... like a young girl whose heart was just beginning to awaken, as if she were secretly tasting forbidden fruit.
The bed had one more person now, as Adrian Lancaster lay down in the same bed with her.
She seemed to catch a whiff of his unique scent and listened to his strong and powerful heartbeat.
Adrian Lancaster was also lying facing the same direction as her. The bed was two meters wide, with at least a meter between them, like the distance between their hearts.
A twist and one could fall off.
Because of her cautious approach, not daring to draw closer, Adrian Lancaster also felt somewhat restrained. The night deepened... the bedroom remained dark.
The bright moonlight outside streamed in through the white curtain, the night was so silent.
After a while, he gently flipped over in the covers, facing her, with the faint light barely allowing him to see her face.
She was very beautiful, quietly closing her eyes...
"Faye, are you sleeping?" After a while, Adrian Lancaster asked softly, wanting to ask but afraid to disturb her.
Faye Turner felt his breathing, slowly opened her eyes, and was caught in the depth of the man’s shadow cast by the light.
She couldn’t see his eyes clearly, but through his earlier tone, she could feel the deep affection.
"Not yet." She replied softly to him.
Adrian Lancaster reached out to her, gentlemanly holding her fingers, "Are you cold? Do you want to adjust the room temperature?"
"No need, this blanket is just right, not too cold or too hot."
"Okay." Adrian Lancaster couldn’t resist; he took her fingers out, gently placed them between his lips and teeth, and kissed them deeply.
Faye Turner’s heart raced, she struggled to control the surge within, feeling her body slightly tingle.
Having kissed her fingers, Adrian Lancaster said with concern, "Move in a bit, be careful you don’t fall out of bed at midnight."
She didn’t move, didn’t respond.
Seeing she didn’t refuse, he reached over from her waist and pulled her a bit closer.
At the moment of their body’s contact, Faye Turner wasn’t repulsed and even felt a bit reliant; his embrace was strong yet gentle, not causing her any discomfort.
"Can I hold you while we sleep?" He pondered, asking softly, not wanting to let go.
After a moment, Faye softly murmured "Mm" and then gently turned around.
She gently pressed her back against his chest, he was genuinely happy, a smile on his handsome face as he lovingly embraced her in a comfortable position.
Then, gentlemanly, he did not move her, despite the fact that she could already feel something amiss with his body.
After all, he was a vigorous and normal person.
Closing her eyes, Faye Turner gradually entered a state of sleep, while Adrian Lancaster slept exceptionally soundly that night.
His Faye had returned, finally returned!
The next morning, as the dawn rippled across the sky, soon beams of morning light filtered through the window, bringing tranquility to the room through the white curtains.
A wonderful day was starting.
Faye Turner, smelling the man’s unique fragrance, leisurely opened her eyes, seeing first his chest clad in pajamas.
Two buttons were undone at the collar, the healthy-colored muscles faintly visible, the perfect chest for any man.
She blinked, her cheeks warmed slightly, resting in his embrace, recalling calling him to bed last night.
Looking upward, Faye Turner slowly lifted her gaze, first seeing his chiseled jaw, then caught in the man’s profound and affectionate gaze.
Was he awake?
The girl’s chest tightened slightly; Adrian Lancaster’s face broke into a smile, his lips softly parted, "Good morning, dear."
