Tang Yanqi slowly walked in that direction. Shen Yao stood right in the middle of the hallway, eyes fixed on her. Just as Tang Yanqi was about to pass her, Shen Yao suddenly grabbed Tang Yanqi’s arm.
Tang Yanqi immediately dodged. Although she thought Shen Yao had some sense, what if today she forgot to bring it? Naturally, she remained on guard.

After all, it was a hospital, and after a brief moment of shock, the people around finally came to their senses and quickly pulled Shen Yao away. Shen Yao’s feet were still kicking, her eyes bloodshot: "Tang Yanqi, go to hell, why won’t you just die? Go to hell..."
Tang Yanqi frowned as a sharp pain came from her belly. A young nurse had arrived, and seeing Tang Yanqi’s pale face, she panicked, quickly shouting: "Quick, get her to the delivery room, quickly..."
Who is Tang Yanqi, even if not widely known, the doctors and nurses in obstetrics and gynecology knew her. They immediately sent her to the delivery room. Her water had broken; she was going into labor.
The doctor delivering her was arranged long ago by Sheng Jianan, so even though the incident happened suddenly, nothing seemed chaotic. The hospital staff promptly informed Sheng Jianan.
Sheng Jianan hadn’t yet returned to B City, and Sheng Jiayu was the first to arrive, followed closely by Zhou Chengze and Gu Han. Mu Yunfan was already at the hospital, just out of surgery, and upon getting the news, he rushed over as well.
Qi Cheng, Bai Bing, and Bai Xue were a bit late.
If it were just childbirth, this would be a bit much, but given what had just happened, the hospital dared not hide anything, even if it meant facing backlash later.
Knowing that Tang Yanqi was in the operating room because someone kicked her in the belly, everyone’s nerves were tense.
Especially Sheng Jiayu. Had she left just a few minutes later, none of this might have happened. If something happened to Tang Yanqi at the hospital, it would be a miracle if Sheng Jianan didn’t tear the place down when he returned.
Now all they could do was pray that both mother and child would be safe, and perhaps there was still hope.
Although the due date hadn’t arrived, it was only a few days away. Tang Yanqi going into labor now wasn’t considered premature. Her previous checkups were all fine, so there shouldn’t be any issues.
